Disclaimer.....
I am fully aware of the risks of working with resin products and aim to give you great tutorials in a safe way. I film in a very ventilated area and keep risks to myself low. I would always recommend you to wear full PPE based on the data sheets for the chemicals you are using 😊😊😊.
Stay safe whilst creating beautiful art 🙏 #resinart #resin #epoxyart #epoxy #resinforbegginers #art #crafts
I think this can be done with regular epoxy in the same way, I would maybe wait an hour before introducing the polish but I can't see it being very heavy. I'm sure you can all experiment 🥰🤩
I actually use Nail Polish in epoxy resin, but depending on the polish, it can discolor, so it's kinda a trial and error as to which polishes you can use.
@@CicutaLupus awesome, thanks for the tip 😊
Honestly, the sheer amount of stuff you can reasonably and realistically use in ANY form of crafting and art is astounding. And makes my overflowing stash of everything that much easier to justify. Hehehe 😁
It's brilliant, I now have a bigger nail collection than Mrs. Cooper 😂🤣
@@daniel..cooper hehehe that's awesome. Nail stickers and decals, fake tattoos (when I can keep them out of my daughter's cute little paws), all the powders and foils, you could build up a shared stash in no time at all. 👍
@@kme 100% 😊😊😊
@kme @daniel.cooper LOL! My hubby asked me if I had a lot of money in supplies (beading, Sizzix, sewing and now resin). Of course I said no! No reason to give the man a heart attack ❣️😊😘
@@debbrady497 🙈🙊😂🤣
Flash! 😎😁
Thanks Gulma 😊 Great flashes in these ones 😊
Those hearts are gorgeous.
Thanks Trisha 😊
Nail foils are great. I just finished some pendants with those

Thanks Dolli 😊 The hearts were my favourite 🥰
Very pretty. Thanks
Thank you! 😊 Very welcome 😊
I'm love this. I am a retired nail technician and now i know what other things i can do with my supplies.
Thanks Dianna 😊 So glad it helps 😊
The hearts are so beautiful! ❤
Thanks Sue 😊 definitely the best of the batch 😊

That 1st large heart is my very favorite! ❤ Again, thank you for sharing your talent!
Cool effect for sure! Loving the large hearts. Ty!!
Thanks as always Lee 😊
These have turned out beautiful. They look Psychedelic......🧡💛💚💜.
Would love to see one with just a black back ground......🥰
Thanks 😊 I will try next time 😊😊
I always learn so much from your videos. Thank you very much!
Thanks Jennifer 😊
Thanks that was informative ❤
You’re welcome 😊 Thanks as always Maddie 😊 🙏
I was a bit surprised at the results of the last two. I would have thought the black would have made it stand out more! I love watching all of your experiments 😊👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you 😊
I always learn something . . .
I love learning-thanks!
Thank you 😊 Glad my vids are helping 😊
Those are really cool! I love those last two hearts! I was kind of surprised that the clear background came out better than the black.
Thank you 😊
Wow! I wouldn’t have ever considered that. I’ve seen nail polish used in other ways with resin, not this way. Just such an interesting effect.
Thank you 😊 I was pleased with the results on this experiment, maybe a tad more color next time 😊😊
@@daniel..cooper for summer, the pastels were just perfect. 😁
Definitely giving off 80s style ❤😊
100% 😊😊😊
Love these thanks so much for sharing 🥰
Thanks Nicky 😊 Very welcome 😊
I think the pink polish or the yellow would look lovely on your nails.❤:-)
😂😂😂
Thank you for trying that out, they look lovely!
Thanks Anna 😊
The hearts are brilliant! Keep up the excellent work sir. Thanks Daniel.
Thanks Mike 😊 loved the hearts 😊😊
I love the hearts too! 💕
Love that holographic heart.
I Love how you try new things anare not bothered if they turn out differently than expected.
The very last one with the black was the best. You should make these into keyrings and sell them online. I would definitely buy one.
Absolutely lovely! I have nail powders sat in a box.... now I know what to do with them! Thank you!
You’re welcome 😊 Time to dig them all out 😊😊
Those are so cool !
Thank you 😊
Thank you, Daniel.
🎉❤OUTSTANDING SPECTACULAR 🎉❤
These are glorious! The hearts are particularly lovely. 😊
Those hearts were stunning Daniel in fact all of them great but the hearts stole the show ❤️ 😊
Another cool experiment ! I love it 💙 I have used nail polish but with epoxy resin. Now I must try with uv resin 😊
Thanks Dorianne 😊 Have fun creating 😊😊
Awesome... I think the large hearts are my favourites... they all look amazing 😊❤
Thanks so much 😊
Ohhhh, I LOVE the hearts! That silver is just gorgeous, plain or backed in black! Those ought to sell really well!
If you’re going to use chrome powder (the white might be chrome) you’d need to undercut the cut resin because the chrome powder needs something sticky so that you can burnish it.
Gel polish would work mixed into resin because it needs a UV light to cure.
Ah, I knew I forgot something! 😔 A viewer mentioned this on a previous vid, I forgot to undercure my resin, thanks for the reminder 😀
What do you mean by undercut, please?
@@daniel..cooperHi Daniel, I’m new to your channel. What do you mean by ‘under cure the resin.’ I’m new to everything on your posts and I am fascinated by all of it!
I ALWAYS learn so
Much watching your videos! I just broke down to get UV resin and had no idea not to use alcohol ink with the UV! Plus, I LOVE those nail powder
Thanks Sandra 😊 They can work in uv but very messy and risky, I will make a vid soon on how to get the same petri effects in UV 😊
I didnt realize that about alcohol inks and UV resin! That explains why sometimes I had issues!
Those hearts are gorgeous!!!!
Thanks Laura 😊 Loved the hearts 💕
I love the hearts the best.. very pretty.
Shimmery goodness ❤
Thanks Cheryl 😊
Well done!! Thanks for being the experimenter and making these videos. I will try nail polish, might be a brighter alternative😊
Thanks Christina 😊 just make sure it's not too opaque 😊
I wonder if darker colours would stand out more like the light colours pop with a dark background. Great effects 👍👍👍
I like them...soft colors for sure,, but sometimes soft is nice enough!! Thanks Daniel....
Thank you 😊 Yes, I think the balance was good, maybe 1 more drop next time though 😊
I just want to thank you so much for teaching me new methods and tricks to create amazing pieces that flatter me.
I like them. 😊
Thank you 😊
They came out too stinking cute!
Lovely 😍
Thanks as always Pamela 😊
Your molds are always so neat and clean as if they are brand new each time. Thanks for sharing TEACH!!
I love all of them 😊
Oh my goodness this is awesome. I ran out of resin, and totally forgot my UV resin. Thank goodness my resin will be delivered tomorrow!! Now I can check out the nail polishes in UV. Thank you Daniel💞💙
Yay, have fun creating 😊😊
Once again, as always... BRAVO! I am going to pull out my nail powders again! That holographic was amazing! 💕
Thanks Cindy 😊
I used nail polish in the non-uv resin prior to pouring in mold. Dried just fine. Made a beautiful pendant.
The pastel colors in the heart is perfect for spring and summer! I love this channel and all of the experimenting! That's the best way to learn!
Thanks Brenda 😊
Best background color for neon is white but the unicorn rainbow powder is to use on black for a great rainbow effect
Thanks, is that the name for this powder? Good to know 😊 As for neon on a white background, I have tried on an older vid and they just didn't look nice compared to the black.
Neons pop best on bright white but for contrast you need solid black.
The holographic rainbow powder is called as unicorn powder/dust in the nail scene😂🙈
Love the sparkle!
Now I know what to do with my nail polish. Keep them coming, you are amazing!
Your good Dan, really good. I wish. WOW 😮
Thanks again Morag 😊 Very kind of you 🥰
You’re just a genius 😁👏🏻
Thank you 😊
So! Many! Ideas!!!!!! Thank you for all the fantastic ideas! This is a new medium for me so it's going to be fun!❤
Thanks 😊 Have fun creating 😊😊
Very NICE 👍
The big heart without the black is my favourite. Beautiful.. I use these powders a lot. Try the duo chrome or better yet the iridescent flakies xx
Love the experiments you do 🤩
Thank you 😊 It's great fun 😊😊😊
Another fun experiment. I really like the rainbow powder behind the neon colors. You always give me more fun things to try.😍
Thanks Lisa 😊 Glad you liked them 😊
Beautiful. Wow👍
Thank you so much 😊
Absolutely stunning
This is a cool experiment. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and talent with us. ❤
Thanks Christine 😊
Don't worry about doing things again, I like the recurring lessons! There's always something new to learn, even if it's been done before.
Thanks Gale 😊
Also, I have that exact same mold!! I love using nail polish with glitter!! It keeps glitter from sinking to bottom.
Love these!! Thank you for all of your time experimenting and sharing!!
Thanks Rhoda 😊 Very welcome as always 😊
You are teaching me a lot. Keep up the good work.Thank you. 😊
Why not use gel neon colors ?
Technical question: why can’t I use my pigments in resin? These are not mica powders.
They are pigments I use to create watercolors with a binder. They just seem to ball up.
I used normal as have already experimented with gels and had great results in #123 😊 If the pigments ball up, it could be water content.
@@daniel..cooper they are just powder seem I can use them in resin. They are natural pigments powders. They are Not mica powders . I thought of making pigment paste. Using the pigments and part a or b of resin as a binder.
Love you channel and have signed up.
Take care and have great day/night.
For some reason I am not able to comment on my phone app. Now playing on my computer to comment. I like the neon colors. Looks great.
I love your videos!!
I also love experimenting with mixed media! I used nail stuff for clay and resin and vice versa. I even accidentally figured out how to make chameleon holographic pigment last night 😅
Hi Daniel another great video, love the effects in this one 😍 thanks for sharing ❤ xx
Hello Daniel , you just told me my problem with alcohol inks is that they don’t work with UV resin. Now I know my problem. I didn’t know this . Thank you!
Glad to help 😊
Good tips to know! Thank you for all the experimentation you do. 👏🏻. P. S. Loved the last 2 hearts!
You are so welcome! Thanks Kathy 😊
These are great! When I tried nail polish it was a disaster 😅
Nice❤
Thanks for another fun experiment Daniel!❤
Thank you 😊 Love experimenting 😊😊
I think nail artist called that unicorn powder and it's very pricey but I think your experiment turned out very well
Beautiful❤❤
Thank you! 😊
All amazing
Thanks!
Incredible results! Love these, Daniel!😍
Gorgeous results!
I don’t think you needed the black at all. My favorites were the last two hearts. Yes I got those shimmer colors that I use on my nails. Thanks for doing these experiments for us ❤
Thanks Amy 😊 Very welcome 😊
Great video! Try using automotive colorshifting pigment and UV resin for some spectacular effects, and UV nail polish is amazing to use as well!
Awesome, thanks for the tip 😊
Beautiful work as usual!!
Thank you so much 😀
I've played with the cat eye gel you did previous videos on (fabulous), but trying to get the gel to drop off of the brush was driving me crazy 😂. I get the gel or polish off the brush with either a toothpick or a microbrush.
Hi.. if you warm the gel polish up in a glass of hot water its gets more liquid. When it's cold it does get thicker. Hope this helps xx
Have you ever tried mixing different pearl powders together before brushing them on? I wonder what would happen.
Both are gorgeous! I can’t wait to get my mold and start experimenting
Thank you 😊 Have fun creating 😊😊
I have also used black nail polish for back and then a clear top coat and it works great!
I love your tutorials by the way!! Thank you so much for putting these out here for us to learn from!!
Another great video they turned out awesome thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you Angela 😊
