- Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.

Guys the area where you stay and roam around not even locals like to go there. It’s like Muslim majority hood. Why don’t you spend few more bucks to be in a nice locality.

Desi ghee paratha is indeed healthy... especially for kids...even pediatricians recommend them for weight gain in kids..

May be they needed a change! Many people in Mysore eat North Indian food! I am not muvh on North Indian food as it is too oily for my taste and plays havoc on my tummy! I love nans, rotis, chapatis, pulkas, and samosas.
Definitely we did need a change it's also nice to see how different foods are cooked different states. India is amazing we absolutely love the food.
But south Indian food isn't really popular in North India and would be hard to find. North Indian food is popular in the south though

Hindu Temples, Christian churches, islamic mosqs Sokh Gurudwaras even Jewish Synagogues and Khabaad houses all on the same street = that is very normal anywhere in india. There are even parsi Fire Temples in india (Zoroastrian). And Now there are even #exmuslim communities operating their centers ...
