I guess the modern equivalent of practice is ‘learn more tech’ ?? Everything is made on software package now so everyone making music is an engineer. I guess we have to learn that DAW inside out once we learn the various terms about what a sound is - the attack, the wave form, the envelope, the decay, the filters and effects etc. if is not inspiring to me.
