Michi Hoyer has already created a series of introductory videos for folk new to rFactor 2. His videos go through initial setup and general best practices to optimise gameplay and performance ruclips.net/video/O1Kotw2uH8w/видео.html
RFactor 2 is absolutely masterclass in rain, nothing comes close, - except GT in graphics - the physics and what they achieved with a ten years old engine is incredible. Hope more content comes for it.
Thanks for these recent fF2/LFM videos. I was not planning on spending any more money on fF2, but was intrigued by the BTCC and, what I consider to be, required tracks. I have downloaded the Q2 pack and have had a blast with the new content. The cars are so flickable...it puts iRacing to shame (speaking of not giving someone any more of my money). Need to become a Patreon at LFM so I can expand the possibilities.
Glad you picked a rear wheel drive Dave, it was more fun to watch ha ha. Real hand full in the wet. Good job it' was the short circuit. Full circuit would have been a worse nightmare.
Your rFactor 2 stuff looks like lots of fun. I bought it, but I'm having trouble liking it. Yipes!! I'll give it another go this evening - just because of you, Dave. I'll report back.
Rfactor's content is a bit hit or miss, that of course includes the mods. A good place to start is the S397 content, of which quite a bit is free (have a look in the steam workshop), but a lot has to be purchased as DLC. I personally love driving the S397 GTE's.
Great content! Maybe use CrewChief voice commands when doing POV races. It could increase immersion and also help you when you want to know if the car ahead is a backmarker or not. Cheers!
the FFb in this game only gives feedback in the center of the steering on my moza r9, turn wheel 3 inches left or right and it gets all loose, anyone else have this problem or know a fix
It'd be great to make some RFactor 2 for beginner videos. Or maybe Rfactor 2 tips for people coming from iRacing? Keep up the good work!

@@simracerpabs Seconding this. LFM has brought me to RF2 and Michi's videos have been incredibly useful for a first timer.
Thanks for the recommendations :)

We already know Dave's good at driving in the dry ...BUT, can he do it on a cold, rainy evening, near Stoke?
Of course he can.
He can do it just down the A52 it would seem 🤣

rFactor is just so much better then all the other sims. Cars behave like cars.
I liked the personal hand gestures at the end
Absolute madness. Can't wait to get this during the Steam sale and try it already.
yes that's what I'm waiting for, won't pay those ridiculous prices
Halloween sale is on rn
So good, always been a fan of RF2.

nice race! the infiniti is really not easy under the rain bravo! the tractions are much more docile! 👍
man that looks so awesome, why is not very popular?
Awesome drive. Thanks for the content.
Absolutely Fantastic
Brilliant race that. Be great to watch back first half from overhead camera angle 👌🏻

As always fantastic
That looks amazing. For a second I thought that this Hyundai was real
I do miss live weather in rf2 enduros. Don't miss the bugs though.
Looks so realistic!
POV DAAAAAVE!!! Heck yes
We agree.
Amazing 👏 wish we had something like this on console, 2 years of acc getting a bit stale now
Rfactor 2 and BTCC with direct drive is fun.
The BTCC cars are so much fun, I wasn't expecting them to be as fun as they are but I love it - Rwaggy
I told you so, Dave!
Physics is top, but the infinity is too fast comparated to the FWD cars (ford, hyundai and toyota)
Insane😊👍

it's driven from the rear seats ?
Hello someone can confirm me that push to pass wasn't effective on BTCC LFM ?
is this game playable with a controller?
Dave, why are you not using push to pass ??
2022 car with p2p is heavier than the 2021, so over a lap 2021 car is quicker atm
driving in the rain feels like soap on the track, horrible difficult
Does rFACTOR 2 have hood cam view ?
