So kind for you to post this... I am forever grateful and appreciative. From a non Jewish person, my thanks so I can say fairway to my most beloved Rabbi.
Please allow me to preface this question: I am the only one who can say Kaddish for my parents even though I am female and never attended Hebrew school as granted by the Rabbi but I never understood how the Prayer mourns the deceased. The Yizkar Prayer does but not the Kaddish. I am too ashamed to ask personally which is why I have taken the cowardly way out and am asking here. I understand the praising of G-d but not how it speaks to our dearly departed. Thank you in advance for your understanding and help!
I have no problem with the American accent, and this is generally a fairly good recitation. However, there are a few minor mispronunciations that should be corrected, particularly the second word sounds more like yitGadash in the video rather than the correct yitKadash. Also, the word shemayah should be accented on the last syllable, not the next to last. Finally, check the shva na vs shva nach. There are several that are mispronounced in the video. Otherwise, nice job. Kol hakavod.
We all must mourn our lost family. We are all people, all with families, and all experience this loss. Peace and mercy is brought into the world when we understand this about one another.
Great -that’s so helpful of you. So now, it follows that you post a video here on RUclips, so we can hear the perfect Kaddish, with your perfect pronunciation. Go ahead- we’re all looking forward to it.

@@EunusRex You are right. So how does it sound like in Aramaic, without the American accent?
@@RudydeGroot well, like any aramaic. the rabbi has a thick american accent and it has no hint of the original.
HERE IS Without the American accent
ruclips.net/video/sNEXQsK79WE/видео.html THE BEST

Can women say this prayer?
Yes, of course.
@@lazer613 of course NOTTTTTTTTTT
No,,, i am sorry to tell you but not,,,,, there are laws ,,,,you can read them at SHULJAN ARUJ
Yes! We aren't all Orthodox. If it weren't for me (female), no one would say Kaddish for anyone in my family. Good thing for the Reform Movement, etc.
Many Orthodox women do say kaddish now out loud.
DThanks rd u
