    Wow now that's a long one, I'm still learning so much an I can't wait till I'm with/in a group, wile saying this prayer. I'm Only most of the time but in mind I pray with a group an it doesn't feel so singular. My Hashem keep my on my the path!💕✌️

    I came across this story about how French Jews in the city of Blois, France in the 12th century sang this prayer as they were burned alive. Your signing was so soft and gentle. Thank you...

    When I was in Hebrew school, we did mock services every other day, and in order to learn this one, our rabbi had us as a class see how fast we could sing it correctly. It was the most fun way to end the day, racing through the second half- I didn't learn 'til I went to other synagogues years later that it was often read in silence, haha!
    I can't tell you how long I spent looking for this specifics tune around Google though, thank you for the upload!

    Very beautiful to listen to. However, in my case, I'm working on reading and singing it in Hebrew, and it's way to fast to help me at all.

    Why skip the line starting with "She'hem mistachavim"? It's a key component of the prayer

    • @Hannelore17
      @Hannelore17 3 года назад +2

      Because in most Reform and some other communities, that line through “lo yoshia” is omitted.

    Was great until she sang, you know, that sound which must not be uttered casually, but only in actual ritual.

      Darryl Bickler I was taught that, you can say it if you are teaching

    • @darrylpbickler
      @darrylpbickler 3 года назад +1

      Bob Caine - teach it by using it in the respectful context or it isn’t teaching anything other than evoking god means nothing.

    • @bobcaine4525
      @bobcaine4525 3 года назад

      Darryl Bickler I agree, it wasn't necessary in this context
