In this video we are checking out Dreadbox Chromatic eurorack modules. Not only are they good looking and affordable, they offer a lot of functionality too! You can check them out at Thomann (EU) redir.love/xlS56kNh or Perfect Circuit (NA) bit.ly/dreadboxModules
I have watched our guy at Dreadbox explain this before, but this interview (despite the ambient noise) was the most revealing. In part (and not to be back handed) is when you guessed wrong (as many of us would have) he clarified in much better detail. Good werk!
Thank you Bo for those gems walkthrough ! Really nice capable modules to start an affordable modular setup ! So exciting... And yeah, a Keystep + a few modules and lets go creativity :-)
This is the best thing for budget synths since Behringer and AE Modular. :) Edit: Almost forgot one I own, the Volca Modular. That is one of the funnest musical 'toys' I've ever played with.
I know they already have some modular cases on the go, but I wonder if they will come out with a colourful affordable variety to go with this bounty of sonic wonder
These look cool. I don't want to go modular although a bunch of CV equipped and semi-modular gear is now on hand. I know if I go modular I'll spend too much.
Dlol. I’m an avid AE modular user and I can definitely see the value in these chromatic modules! AE modules are very cheap, but each one of these Dreadbox units has the functionality of several AE modules.
How do you get recommended so often by youtube, you have 80K subscribers, your channel is nothing but advertisements, maybe that's the reason. Congratulations anyway Bo, know that I cannot go near youtube without one of your videos being rammed down my throat! Nothing against you, your vids are lovely, I just find it odd that such a small channel gets so much promotion.

yes! simple, yet inspiring modules under 100 and before Behringer brings them out, dreadbox has a new customer xD
correction: Behringer might still be faster in the end lol, the dreadbox modules are nowhere to be found, including their own website.
next correction: found them (my bad...)
The interface may be simple, but in terms of functions those modules are quite deep in my opinion.

Thanks!
The delay module is amazing ! my fav from this case :)
Finally some colours in the modular world!
Really? Plenty of popular modules have creative designs and colour
@@BrokenBeats94 Show me something!
@@ethermod307 ... And nothing. Haha

I clicked this video so fast! I love every word in that title.😄 All the names are perfect. and the colors.... 😲
I want all of them. Like candies!
Yes!!!
They do look like candies. Already unwrapped... beware not to swallom them, though :))
Looks great, the sonicstate video had some audio issues so I'm happy to see this! (giggled when he said the vco hits 32000 kilohertz)
Thank you!!
Best demo so far, i really like them
Ciao Bo! we met there at Soundmit :) I'm not much interested in modules, but I tried those and it was fun!
Hey!! Glad to see you here

Thanks for sharing, Bo. This is exciting.

Very old school design which is a not bad thing is actually very nice :)
I love sliders in eurorack!
Quadrax is also out!
If you guys make the new quadrax expander module in 1U, then I'll be able to fit them into my case
Dystopia sounds great 😯 but did I understood correctly that the noise is not available when there is input signal present?
Thank You Bo,Thumbs up!

Modular truly is a black hole for my wallet. Stay away! haha.
What are the two modules on the left in between the PSU module and the first Hysteria?
are they 4ms pod friendly?
Good marketing. Of course I want all of them to have a rainbow rack!
thanks bo
"Ah yes, finally I can be frugal while doing eurorack"
Proceeds to buy all of them, plus a rackbrute and rainmaker, thus putting self into debt
"fuck"
tbh rainmaker is the thing on my wish list that most scares me.
for that price I could get two behringer synths.
but it looks soo good
MM maybe,,just maybe,,sure looks and sounds real good,,,
AE modular is cheaper tho

D SW good point
