- Here I go over a gruesome Jurassic Park ending from Lost World that we never got to see. This Pteranodon scene shows Ajay's death after the long grass bit with the Raptors. Hope you all enjoy! :D

Enjoy every one of your videos can’t wait till the next one on Jurassic world 3, I said it before your videos got my kid into reading the books and I’m grateful!
Did you get that name from Under Siege: Dark Territory?
Am I weird for actually liking jp3
ruclips.net/video/OUCRcCYW8VQ/видео.html
J.M. Marshall yes lol always loved that line
@@T.X.C.T.Y no, it's just not as good as the others so people hate it for some reason
If you ever had to deal with a Pelican on a fishing boat, you would have no wonder why a Pterodon would be portrayed as an asshole in any encounter, lol
I’m assuming you’ve had to deal with pelicans on a boat before, what was it like?
If Spielberg didn’t get Jurassic burnout while making The Lost World, he likely would have stuck to his original ending plan with the extended Raptor chase and the cliffs and Pteranodon attacks. The final version could have been more built up towards.
The T. Rex in San Diego ending to me feels like Spielberg had one more epic sequence in him that he felt passionate about and wanted to play out what he considered the final endpoint of the series if he felt committed to directing a third film.
I personally have never had a problem with the San Diego scene at the end of the movie.
However, it does make me wish that the series had been "different" after the Lost World Premiered. Jurassic Park 3 played it a little too-safe if you ask me, and simply gave us another movie on the island with nothing interesting to say. You would think that the revelation that Dinosaurs once-again exist reaching the public due to the T-Rex running around San Diego, would actually lead to greater impacts than what it did.
Jurassic World would've been the third movie then lol ingen would make a public apology, reel the investors back in, then rebuild already having the infrastructure in place and the technology and wildlife, up the "security" (let's face it the only safe dinosaur is an extinct one as much as id love to pet one) to show they're serious, change the paddocks slightly so they have to try and break concrete to escape instead of little wires. Maybe Jurassic World would have been better then instead of just a money grab
Personally, THAT it was done wasn't such a problem, more HOW it was done. As a fan of the books at the time it felt like they threw out the original final half hour late in production and scrambled to throw something together at the last minute regardless of how much sense it made to the plot or even the tone.
@@kylejacques8577 if i recall interviews about it they did precisely that, for the usual reasons of time; money; weather; the ability to be transitioned from written word to film with the technology at hand.
I didn’t like the ending it was kinda dumb. I feel like this ending would’ve been awesome
"Oh my God..."
"What is this?"
"It's a bird stage."
You mean bird cage.

I remember the Kenner Ian Malcom glider toy from The Last World, that explains how the toy makers got their ideas.
It's also why the arcade game was vastly different from the movie, in what dinosaurs were in it and the fact the ceratosaurus was able to camouflage itself like a chameleon or cuttlefish (which was in the book just to a lesser effect) and the inspiration for the indominus being able to do so. At least i read that that was partially the motivation for the abomination, so take it with a grain of salt
Ace Undead the Kenner Dieter Stark figure and the Hunter in the PS1 games look identical to the concept art produced but very different to the final look in the movie.
I have always loved JP2 personally. I never understood the hate for it
I didn’t like it cause of the “save the dinosaurs” crap
Well wouldn’t you want to save the Dino’s?
The movie is crap tbh the book is good
I hear ya my dude i love JP2 the scene where the bull T-Rex looks on as the baby rex gets his first kill with pride is my favorite scene
@@Yusuf-uz2ie the books are ridiculous.
I wonder if the T. rex in JW3 will say “Ian!” in a dream scene!
ALAN
OMG, this actually needs to happen. If done right, it would be the perfect fan-service.
It needs to say owen
Pog.
Even better: Ian gets eaten in a nightmare
So to be clear, the ending was Ajay and some hunters would sail down and get attacked by pteradons and all die. Then the remaining hunters and the main characters would get to the worker village, be attacked by raptors, have a motorcycle chase, then Roland shoots one of the raptors, then they get on the helicopters were the remaining hunters all get killed by more pteradons. And Roland Tembo, and the main characters make it off the island alive. Where Ludlow (eaten by a Trex earlier) and all the hunters got killed by raptors and pteradons.
Yup
I would have liked this so much more than the 2 stupid parents whos dog got eaten...
@@sctz yeah but, Trex in city. That's pretty epic.
@Michael how does it look dumb?
Mark Pierweijer : hi, I just wanted to say that after watching this movie many times, I get a big laugh when the parents scream and their son looks at them as if startled more by them than by the T-Rex. To me, his expression is funny.
The scene with Ian malcom going against that one velociraptor was my favourite in the movie I just loved how he just kept going back and fourth trying to lose it but it just kept jumping in where he was
Great Gritty and Dark Jurassic Park Video Klayton Fioriti.
Imagine how dark The Lost World Jurassic Park would of ended with a flock of Pteranodons attack of the people from Ingen, it would be really scary and terrifying or just like the post credit scene from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.
Great video Klayton and as always, Take It Easy and Life Finds A Way.
the writer that was eaten by the rex was credited under the name unlucky bastard
I wonder why he wanted to be eaten? To escape negative criticism about his work?
@@dondragmer2412 wow the jokes write themselves
They should have made a spin off movie with the lost world novel scenes as a survival horror movie and make it about Biosyn and Ingen looking for the barbasol can
ChanoCyber9Avila there is a game which tell this part of story. Mercenaries hired looking for the barbasol can intercept with a father and a daughter on the island, with scenes like standing between the fighting of triceratops and T-Rex, being chased by Troodons in pipes, facing Mosasaur-liked animals underwater, saving a herds of Parasaurophus from locking inside electric fences but turnout attracting velociraptors, and escaping He...... (Forget the name, you can think them as kind of a raptors) attack by riding on a damaged Rollercoaster after fixing it, etc.
Aras Chi i played the tell tell game several times but the only thing that sucked about that was the attempt on comedy. What I mean in a movie like have both companies looking for the can, one gets it early on and the other chases after them and while in pursuit they get attacked by pteranodons and crash land on Sorna thus bringing in some scenes from the lost world novel and original script with the camouflaging Carnos, Dogson or grunt using a device to make the trex’s back off while he steals the eggs and then the device stops working, or even the raptor chase on motorcycles while they’re trying to escape the island. You know stuff like that and take the father and daughter aspect out of it
That should be plot for Jurassic Park 3...
Extreme Madness at the time there were so many scripts for 3. Klayton already covered the scripts
@Pengus Wobblous Slide-bellious that or Sam rami.
"They just kind of show up and be a-holes"
Basically the Bary, Carno, and Allo in FK.
Yeah only the Baryonyx had buildup, walking down a long hallway while lava lights up it's silhouette as it gets closer.
Noah Shackelford wish we could see more of it, and the Spino.
Glad you covered this scene! I've always been intregued to understand the ptera attack sequence.
I love the Lost World man! It's the best sequel!
Keep up the awesome work man😄👍 Stay safe and take it easy.
You are a gentlemen, and a scholar Klayton and you keep fueling my desire to learn more about dinosaurs and the JP franchise.
DONT GO INTO THE LONG GRASS
Yeah
*proceeds into the long grass*
NOT INTO THE LONG GRASS!!!
YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO
*gets pulled under the grass and dies*
This ending could be fitting for Dominion or if there was ever a remake based fully on the novel (in other words, Crichton’s whole book on the big screen)
This unused scene is already happen in Camp Cretaceous season 3 when Brooklynn and Yaz try to glide down and try to get away from a flock of Dimorphodon.
Klayton: Hey guys! Hope you all doing well! 😄
Me and the subs: Hey, Klayton! We’re all doing fine. 😁
-_-
NOTIFICATION GANG! Also hit the like button too! I always love when Klayton does a video on the Lost World, as it's my favorite sequel! Love learning about deleted scenes or alternate versions of how the film could have turned out! Awesome video as always Klayton! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the info Klayton!
This ending sounds really similar to the JP3 ending that was set to take place but never did. I also noticed that the scene sketch at 2:42 looks alot like the helicopter attack scene in Jurassic World (when Masrani's copilot is stabbed by a pterasuaur beak).
Other than that, I would like to mention that I really like the pterasuaur scenes we get in the Jurassic Franchise. The scenes are always brutal and ruthless which reminds me of how predatory birds attack their prey today. I hope Universal incorperates the pterasuaurs a little more in the upcoming film but other than that I think these concepts are very cool.
NOTE: Klayton, that scene where you described the sillouhette of a pterasuaur appearing in the foggy sky from moonlight sounds so thrilling! I can totally see that happening in a Jurassic movie! 🎥
So Spielberg had two options. He could go the Rodan route, or the Godzilla route. He decided to go the Godzilla route. I'd say he made the right choice!
Brendan Dulaca I’d say it’s more akin to King Kong as not only was there a presentation showing the “creature” but it also is chased down by the police and the military plus the films plot is sorta similar to King Kong.
And ironically, the scene where the T-rex attacks San Diego was way better to watch than the god awful Godzilla movie where the US military destroyed way more buildings in New York than the monster himself.
@@Competitive_Bid_ If you want to go the extra mile, it's actually more specifically a reference to the original Lost World film where a brontosaurus rampages through the city! There's even a scene in that film where the bronto eats a street light, just like the Buck T-Rex eating the stop light!
@@dereklopez9060 lol 1998 Godzilla. The beginning Roland Emrich's decent into irrelevance. Utter shame.
While at work, I often put my bluetooth earbuds in, set RUclips to auto-play and binge listen to Klayton and Alteori videos. Love the content from both. 👌
I like that they removed it because they might not have done the aviary scene in Jurassic park 3 which was one of my favourite scenes because it would’ve been quite similar to this scene
Really Hoping Jurassic world Evolution sequel Premieres at Gamescom.
It didn’t
Sadly
@@jpaulgettyproductions we still have two more days of gamescom so don't worry let's just wait until then, if not let's pray that Prehistoric Kingdom Come to console.
Those Pteranodons are very violent. This would have been really cool, but I really enjoy the San Diego ending
Pteranodons are actually fish eaters and in no way would eat a human
@@Comptonater The pterosaurs are carnivorous dinosaurs, preferably to fish, but they would not deny eating a person, it's like a bear.
Maaaaaaaan I got the notification and clicked on it immediately and there’s already 50+ likes and over ten comments. Y’all gotta calm down!
I agree with you. Build up is really important. I actually really liked the reveal of the Pteranodons in JP3 where the metal bridge starts shaking... And in the mist a figure starts moving forward and then Alan Grant says "It's a bird cage".
Klayton Fioriti thank you for yet again another great video my friend I literally just got home from work and BOOM had great news that you uploaded another great video. Thanks man and have a blessed day my friend and everyone else reading this.
Thanks very much for all of the videos you post about the Jurassic Park universe. You supply the best content
Yes another Video. Finally ♥
The city attack was classic in my opinion, I loved the funny ending and watching all those people running from the T. rex
And the one guy who got eaten
Lost World was a really good adventure story with great musical and visuals I'll never forget. I would recommend the second movie and the first book over anything else to a person who wants to get into the franchise.
Man, if it was in the film. This would be awesome. I wished I would know how it will fit or work out the storyline.
Loved that you mentioned the Ghost and the Darkness, Klayton. Such an underrated film!!!
Let's all say it together "There's a Dinosaur outside my room."
I've always loved JP2 & it's ending. At it's time, it was nothing like the original JP. All in all we should appreciate that we not only have novels of these wonderful stories but also comics, graphic novels, films, sequels, and channels like this one to keep us entertained.
Lost world is a masterpiece that should not be touched short of a master cut with all the deleted scenes added.
Klayton, I like how you gave out an example of how the lost world would be like if that happen and compare with the ghost of the darkness plus the baby godzilla scene from the '98 movie
“Oh my god.”
“What is it?”
“It’s a new Klayton Fioriti video.”
“With what?”
Cool! I actually saw storyboards and concept art of the alternative ending of the Lost World.
The cliff scene were Eddie comes to save the others by locking the winch of his Mercedes onto the van in attempts to rescue it from falling with the others in it (and almost succeeding) is my favorite movie scene of all time, which makes JP2 my favorite movie of all time. I don't know why this scene isn't talked about at all, it was so cool watching Eddie pull the camper out.
New found fan here, lifetime Jurassic Park fan. Hey it's even my initials JP😂 I just stumbled on to your videos completely unaware of this whole Jurassic world on you tube this is exciting! Please keep it up👍
It’s crazy how much gore and violent these movies are but has a beautiful theme
Your work is love i am a big fan....love from india❤
My favorite joke out of the San Diego sequence is that Koepp is credited as "Unlucky Bastard"--I guess Spielberg felt bad about how many drafts they churned through
His death is hilarious
I’m glad you make cool videos like this soon I’ll be getting the original novel
I grew up on the lost world audiobook. Cannot even count the times. Rewatch the series every other month, except for the original Jurassic Park. I don't want it to lose its appeal as I saw it so much as a kid.
I used to hate the lost world. They completely took away the fun of Ian’s character! But after watching this channel, and hearing your thoughts and opinions, and some extra content I didn’t even know about, I decided to go back and watch it with an open mind. And guess what? Now it’s my 2nd favourite jurassic film(behind the original of course)! So, thanks, Klayton.
I love how the lost world jurassic Park really ended with the complete version that we already have right now, but I think the deleted alternate ending would be used for jurassic world dominion or maybe some other jurassic story if they decided to continue making more jurassic stories based on Crichton's jurassic books.
This video is pretty good and I agree on the pterandons not being suspendedly reveled
o thats neat in TLW:JP.. interesting thats where that one scene kind of popped up from.. man i love how you do these videos and show everything you are talking about. Thanks man for all your work. Even in a 5 min video. Appreciate that scene refresher because i will be honest. seen them numerous times but couldn't think of the scene you when were talking about. first few frames and its like ding. light bulb lol
It's so cool when the movie crew is involved inside their own movies, just like the guy you mention here, or the chinese man on Titanic who was the visual effects guy I think, Michael Bay in Armageddon, and others. I've recently been thinking for some reason that the writter in JP2 was another extra who got his ticket into the movie by winning some kind of event like the one Chris Pratt did for JW: Dominion XP
I just saw Jurassic Park in the AMC theater and saw it for the first time in a movie theater! It was amazing!
It was so gruesome it was too cool, for "THE LOST WORLD JURASSIC PARK ",and would also perhaps give me some dinosaurs nightmare, and would have made "THE LOST WORLD JURASSIC PARK",even more dark, also this is why TLW Jp,is my 2nd favorite in the JP,series.
I saw this deleted scene in my movie of the lost world Jurassic Park extra on dvd
Thank you klayton 🦖❤️👍👍
I wish this scene was in the final cut in movie
Wow did not know there was a scene on this. Will check it out.
CS77 Smith do it bro check it out
@@jimhawkins144 I sure will but where do I find it at?
I don't think they have them in DVD anymore
I love this channel especially the first video it was a nice entrance to your channel
Kicked ass. I heard about it when I was a kid on the Lost World making of the movie. It sounded awesome I hope they use it sometime. And they kinda did in Jurassic World if you think about it.
Like you, Klayton, I *dig* the "Lost World" ending we got for what it is. Still, it's nice to go back and explore 'what might have been.' Keep 'em comin.' :)
As much as I think this would of been great I’m glad we got the ending we got. So basically what I’m trying to say is...
Spielberg was so preoccupied with wether or not he could, he didn’t stop to think if they should!
I'm glad these Pteranodon endings was was cut from the final film. It would have been a bitter note to leave off of.
Love youre vid
JP2 was always my favorite, especially the San Diego portion, so I’m happy with how it ended.
I personally would love to have seen it. I do want set-up to be there, but the whole idea of the crew trying to glide from the cliff to ground while being attacked by pteranodons sounds like a fun, intense sequence.
And the concept art, if it was similar to that, then we would have gotten something amazing.
I do love the scene in Jurassic Park 3 involving the pteranodons, but the one that was gonna be used in Lost World sounds great and the concept art really sold me to it. I remember seeing the art long ago and it looked really cool.
Babe, wake up. New Klayton vid.
I like how it turned out. I even like the San Diego portion. I feel the humor was needed lighten up what had been happening on the Island.
Hi klayton!! I love your videos so much and i cant wait to see you continue! Hope your staying safe
The ending for Lost World was something I wasn't expecting but liked cause it was the moment the danger that those on the respective islands in the JP series that they managed to escape followed them to the mainland where they would normally would feel the safest because it was contained miles away on an island.....but now it's in your backyard. Which also makes the ending of Jurassic World:Fallen Kingdom hit home more for once again the only people who had to deal with the dinosaurs were those on the island but now that they're on the mainland/around the world it will be a people EVERYONE has to face/deal with.
Let's go another video !
The city attack scene is so iconic that I don't wanna picture the movie without it, LOL.
But I can't help but wonder what a scene involving both the Velociraptors AND the Pteranodons would be like...
Klayton, dude, I even read the original screenplay to The Ghost And The Darkness as well as JURASSIC PARK ///.
Lost World is my fav too. Best movie.
I prefer the Lost World we got. I actually like the ending in a city setting. I'm glad the pteranodons were scripted for the third film as main creatures.
Love these side things about the jurassic park stuff I didn't know about it. One thing I found recently on audible is a box set called jurrasic dead. It contains 3 books and I'd love to hear you do a video on what you think about the book series or something like that.
I like this channel because I've never seen anyone like lost world and I really like it. I also have been made fun of for liking it so I like that.
The T-Rex San Diego scene was a better choice all around , interesting news though
I love all the movies, the first is obviously the best but there all very entertaining and always make my inner child scream in excitement
I love the San Diego scene. To this day I wish it had been longer.
No.
Ah yes, a Klayton Fioriti upload!
Amazing video of Jurassic park the lost world and that would be epic, they add the terrordons scene in the lost world amous the birds.
I always wondered why they had a "Hang gliding Ian Malcolm" toy back in the day for that movie, now it makes more sense.
I Love your vídeos dude
There are behind the scenes pics from the extended workers village scale model that are fascinating. I regret we only got a smaller version of the village on the movie
Calling the book and the movie The Lost World , is an hommage to sir arthur conan doyle's lost World.
So , to be honnest, the final ending is the most accurate.
It's some kind of hommage to movies from the 20's and 30's.
It's in a certain way, perfect.
THE thing I'm really waiting for , are the deleted and lost scenes from the two first movies. Especially the second movie.
Mr. Spielberg , PLEASE, make an extended cut ,!!! PLEEEASE !!!
Wow I don't know. I liked some of the San Diego trip. A t-rex running around in a very big city, causing all kinds of mytham was fun. Didn't like how they got the t-rex back in the boat or the way they skipped how the crew died. But the other ending would have been good to. I like the silhouette of the terrordons in the moon would look cool. But even them coming out of nowhere would have been fun for me. The people think they're about to be safe and bam they start dying
No I never hated it.i did feel there were too many people there. I really enjoyed the whole series. It did not hurt to have Jeff in the second and Sam Neill in the third one and thst girl too. I always love the dinosaurs and great music.
I do prefer the finalized ending we have in The Lost World, but I also would have liked some elements of the Pteranodon sequence kept in the finalized film as well.
Klayton are you going to do more scenes from the Crichton novels
The ending of JP2 goes on long enough that I think they could have added in enough foreshadowing and had an epic pteranodon scene instead and that would have been really good. The San Diego part is so drastically different that I sometimes forget that it is part of JP2 and isn't some other movie. That being said though! I actually really love the San Diego stuff a lot, with my whole heart, and would hate to see it go. I'd like to have both, thank you.
"I am a pretty big fan of the second Jurassic Park movie" he says, while showing the moments leading up to the scene most people cite when saying it is bad. You know what you are doing, Klayton. ^_~
I still love the second film. A lot more than 3. Yeah, the Lost World ending was different, but it was still good.
Always loved the San Diego ending, but also would have loved to see how the Pteranodon sequence would have played out
The title of the movie was "Lost World" and uses the Arthur Conan Doyle Book for much of the ideas. A major Dinosaur in a major modern city would be fun but SanDiego has Camp Pendelton nearby and I could easly see Gunships Showing up inside of an hour of the rampage starting.
I agree, all the dinos have a foreshadowing appearance, they dont just come out of nowhere when they are into the real action (even if they appear for the first time, there is a roar in the distance, footsteps, or a bad decision taken by a character that we know its gonna get them attacked mostly by a specific dino)
-T-Rex cage teasing her with the goat. Even Hammond mentions they habe a T-Rex before that.
-Dilophosaur not showing but we kow there is one.
-The Raptors opening sequence, the raptor eggs and hatching, and at the pen feeding them with a cow even without actually showing them. (They have the most foreshadowing of all dinos, imo that makes them really interesting and such good villains in JP1)
-Yes, the compies attacking in the lost world opening sequence.
-Even the stegosaurs attack after the camera starts to act weird.
-When Nick takes baby T-Rex we know what that will lead to.
-The megaphone call in jp3 and the roar of a big dino, the spino first appearance.
-Being in a bird cage... yea.
-And the indominus and indoraptor both have menacing introductions and backstory.
Maybe I skipped a few, I havent seen the movies in a while but you get the idea
Great video. Anyone remember how sad it was when a spinosaurus beat a trex in a fight? I’ll never forgive them for making that mistake. Trex always wins due to its bite force
Just a quick question, do you know where I can find that version of the script. I would love to give it a read myself
The first 3 Jurassic Park movies are all so perfect. Love the world movies too but god
i love your videos
Klayton Fioriti, I was wondering if you could do a video on the surviving hunters in the lost world. Because the last we see of them is in the tall grass. The only hunter confirmed to of escaped and survive was Roland Tembo and somehow Ludlow. So I don't know if all of them died or just some of them.
I love the Lost World, it’s my favourite. The books are so different though, I wish the movies reflected the books a bit more.
