- Want to know what its like driving with 50% tint on your windshield? 2% on the side windows? Day time vs night? In today's video I show you what it's like and give you my 2 cents.
Never care to hit like on vids but after countless google and youtube searches for different tint percentages and night driving yours has been very informative and what I'm looking for. Thanks for getting direct view rather than angles that try to make the tint look darker like other photos I've seen lol. Good video thank you

This is making me feel really good about what i wanted, i was thinking 15 in the rear, 35 front, and 50 windshield and i was a little worried but ill be just fine lmao
Honestly, I have 5% tint and it's not hard to drive at night at all. You just have to pay close attention. Everything is still seeable thru the tints. You can still see behind you in lit areas. 5% will make you a better drives because you're forced to pay attention. Adjust your mirrors for blind spots or use blind spot mirrors if your car doesn't have any or radars.
I currently have 20% fronts 5% rears. I must say I've gotten used to the 5% quickly. I'm really wanting to go with 50% on the front windshield

I think that is a perfect combo as it will provide privacy and reduce heat inside the car without it being ridiculously dark/illegal.
I have 5 percent all around and 20 on the windshield, you just have to get used to it it’s not bad at all in my opinion

Getting 50% on windshield right now.
I believe the rest of my truck is like 25 to 35%. Don't know for sure because it was there when I bought it

2 percent is all good until a cold rainy night and you can’t see to make turns😆 for the sides I’ve never gone lower than 15.
Once you been driving with it for so long and used to it that’s not a issue

It would help if you 5% your sunroof. If your sunroof isnt blocking the light then you can barely see in.
Good video... I'm getting my windshield tinted tomorrow. I was thinking either 70% or 50% but after seeing it at night, I'll go with the 70% because it looks dark & I'm in California. I already have 5% in the back & 20% in the front

Reason I’m watching this video is because I had a Jeep with 20 all the way around and 50 on the windshield. I now have a 2015 f150 and would like to do 5% all the way around and 50 on the windshield because 20 just wasn’t enough... but after watching this I may just do 5% on the backs and 20 on the driver / passenger

Frick man, In my opinion that is very dangerous to roll with 2 percent. I just got mine done with 11 percent in the front and 7 percent in all the rears. Thats what it metered out to. Gonna do 70 percent on the windshield with a 5 percent brow for the heat rejection. Got Xpel XR Plus.

Completely off topic but what rims do you have on your car? Have the same color and have been struggling to find some nice sporty wheels.
square setup, all four rollers are Verde V99 Axis 19X8.5 5x114.3 +32mm Graphite Wheels Rims and the rubber used is 245/40-19 NANKANG NOBLE SPORT NS-20 40R R19 tires and the drop is on swift springs. Ride is comfortable and stance is moderate, I rarely scrape on speed bumps or manhole covers.

Car came with tint and instead of having it removed, I had someone add on top of it. Police stopped me and tested it, got a ticket, told me it was 2.5%, that's how I know how dark it is. Still rocking it though
Cierra ExotikQueen i have 1% on my back windows that already come with privacy glass which is 20%. I had a cop buddy check my windows and they it reads 0.0 no joke
On my front windows i have 5% then put another layer of 20% on top of that. Of course that reads 0.0 on tint as well
I’m getting 35% on the windshield ( i have a doctors note for medical tint exemption hence why i am able to ride around with windows that dark)

% 3 well i actually do have this condition where i get migraines from the too much sun light . I live in Texas btw. I’ve had a buddy go to the doctor and faked a condition and he was also able to get an exemption.
Does the 50% on the windshield help with glare from the sun and other lights?
Yes, 50% does help. If sun/light glare is a big issue then i recommend starting at 50% as 70% is not noticeable and 30% might be too dark.

Hey man I have a big question to ask. So my car stereo system came with no Bluetooth and no gps screen. I was wondering if I bought a screen off of the same car but has Bluetooth and gps would it work for my car ? And if it does would I just need the screen or what would I need to make it function the same . I have a 2015 q40 or what I like to say 2013 g37
When you say you have no bluetooth you mean you cant play songs to your car from your phone via bluetooth right? Not that you cant make phone calls via bluetooth?

In Florida, window tint is a secondary offense. That is, the cops can give you a ticket for your tint ONLY after they have pulled you over for a primary offense(speeding, improper turn, blocking an intersection, etc). I have had the sides this dark since I got the car back in 2012 but the windshield I did about 3 years ago. For the windshield tint I have received one ticket for and that was because I was stopped at a light and a state trooper was walking up and down the intersection handing out tickets that day. He said that he pulled me over because I didnt have my seatbelt on(how could he see in?), and since both are non-moving violations I just paid them and kept the tints on.

I just did my work truck 20 on the sides and 35 on the windshield but I have yet to drive it in the rain. My thing is driving it in the rain @ night o.0

Yup, FHP verified my tints being 2% lol Cops do a double take and with the exception of the one time with fhp, have been ticketed once in 6 years for dark tints. I also chill and try not to draw too much attention.
Besides being illegal, it is also very unsafe. Which is why there are law's regarding tint to begin with !

only once and that was about 4 years ago. The cop was standing at a traffic signal giving tickets to people that block the driveway to a local business and while i was stopped and not blocking the drive, the gave me a ticket for the tint. I paid the ticket and kept the tints on. By the way, this is how i know the sides are 2%, the police officer measured the windows and told me the %.

I have a 2017 accord and I have 5% all around but the front windshield I wanna put 50% my leather is black plus my car is dark gray so it’s already looks dark as fuck. Do u think 50% would be bad ? I seen 2 cars today on th freeway with it mustang and truck it looked bad ass but I can definitely tell the windows was done so do u think I should leave it as Is or do the tint
