Dear Evan, thank you very much for taking the time to check my newest model! I greatly appreciate it as I know you have a busy schedule 😅 thank you once again for your time 🙏🏻 ❤
the DRZ O2R is a stunning design-love it! i am sorry the models i really like are sold out. but i guess that's a good problem rather than sitting on inventory that ain't moving. very best.
You ARE a RUclips Sensation (TM)! I'd call the look of this watch kinda mid-century modern, and I like it! A bunch of very cool design decisions on this watch.
You are indeed a RUclips sensation Evan! Love seeing you check out such a wide array of watches and brands! Would love to get you hands on with one of our new models coming up to check out!
Im going for the blue on bracelet with extra clasp. Also puting the leather strap in the cart as well. Also Direnzo is coming out with a rubber strap. I am looking forward to having a full kit.
Another excellent video Evan I bought both the Eclipse and the Mondial and this is tempting. Big fan of what Sergio is doing with this brand. The designs might not be for everyone but you can't argue with the quality at this price point.
I think that manual mechanical watches are a bit more, sentimental, than automatic watches. You have to take the time to wind it, and some times it can create some special memories…
Direnzo is arguably one of the top microbrands for consistent quality and very distinctive for consistent design that always brings something different that yet can measure up to hosts of more conventional alternatives. I know it's your style of reviewing, but honestly describing it as 'a little weird' is a bit dismissive of the achievement of the brand and its designer.
it's interesting, but there are too many Kickstarter microbrands out there nowadays. I don't know why the proliferation. There must be some incredibly low-friction Chinese supply chain that people are capitalizing on. I've even seen some companies exist purely to facilitate the creation of and implementation of microbrands. I wonder when too much is too much. There's nothing inherently wrong with the practice but it sort of dilutes the concept of watchmaking to me. These are curiosities purely of factory-made industrial design, which is fine. They're just a bit soulless to me. And now they're all getting a bit samey-samey even in their differences; modern hyper-colorful sports watches that belie their value with the occasional meteorite dial. No heritage, no real mechanical spirit, some pretty poor attempts to capitalize on hype...I dunno. Now that I'm writing this out I think I'm burnt out and generally negative on microbrands. Everyone has very specific taste and at some point goes "oh man, if only they did it this way..." and the people that end up DOING it that way obviously care. but...I don't anymore.
@@direnzowatches it's a euphemism more than an actual category. there are a lot of microbrands on Kickstarter. this is general commentary more than it is specifically about your pieces. I don't know or really care if you did use kickstarter or any other crowdfunding service, that's not really the point. the point is that everyone and their mother has an idea for some watch design language, good or bad or somewhere in between, and it seems sufficiently easy to get that going now that we have WAY TOO MANY to even sort through. that's a good problem to have for most people, but it makes me want to go back to watchmaking's roots where people do their own mechanical engineering and have an established aesthetic language and heritage.

Hey man the design elements of these are BEAUTIFUL... Elegant, classy, yet youthful and original.

@@tylerfukuda thank you much! Is not for everyone but I’m proud of it ☺️Sergio
@@wrenside we’ll run another pre sale very soon (aprox April) just stay tuned. Thanks !
I can’t believe he didn’t know your watches - or he claimed he didn’t. We all did know them. 👏
I can't be the only one who appreciates the 'neat' reference. I know a few Aspen trees who would agree...
That's why I always pack some heat. I respect you, but I respect your distance.
Watch out for mountain cougars and biting goats!
Not too often you can get all this neatness in one location.

The dial definitely gives me 70's Timex retro-futuristic vibes. Very cool.
Never heard of them. They look cool and original. Pro tip: The DRZ 04 is actually not sold out ATM.
Direnzo is always up to something interesting and thats great for the hobby

Thank you for converting their currency into real money 👏🏼 providing hard hitting investigative journalism
Dollar dollar bills, y’all.
Ryan strikes again!!! The 6:30 had me crying 😂😂
Unless it's a digital watch, I guess.
Another excellent video Evan

A design that's for everyone is arguably boring? I'd rather have this.

I love your sweater even more
Evan I love your picks and content bro, great job bro
Tuesday is my favorite day!!!
Fantastic review of a wonderful watch and brand. Just discovered your channel, Evan, and subscribed 👍
“And since now is the 2000s… I guess they were right?” So funny and so sharp.

Very cool indeed. I suspect you’ll also be getting questions about where you got your sweater with the leaf pattern on it. That is also very cool.
A fancy, exclusive American store called Target.
@@YoureTerrificI’m in Ireland and we don’t have Target. We have to make do with such small name behemoths as H&M and Zara.
Nice call back with knowing the meaning of “tonneau” in French. I’m happy my comments are good for something.
Love how much lume it has
Great review, as usual, but what the hell is that sweater thing you are wearing? Did you do this video in your pajamas?
It would fit in flawlessly with the TV show Hello Tomorrow! Billy Crudup might as well have worn this.
Love the DRZ03; this looks like a mash-up of all the existing Direnzo models.
Oh the minute I saw the green dial version I checked my bank account. Did you have this at the Redbar meet up last night?
Cool watch.. that green pops
The red dot on the crown is actually there so you know it’s the cellular version like the Apple Watch
Im seeing a Moser inspired watch here.
I just saw this on Direnzo's website and now I'm seeing your video?
Is this...a sign? Do I have permission to buy another watch?
You have my blessing.
Where can i acquire one... pls anyone?!!
But I have... in my microbrand craze in 2020 I almost bought one.... ( this one is their best looking one by far IMO )
Another hellish (and super obscure) horological joke: Ladies and Gents, I present to you the MeisterSinger...let's give that watch a hand!
😂
What a great and beautiful piece!
Honestly, I would prefer with automatic movement… anyways, I’m probably also too ordinary to buy a watch like this 😅
love hate love certain micro brands: cool design (love), sold out (hate). save money (love). thanks - will watch this watch brand.
Wake up babe, a new YoureTerrific just dropped 🍾
Don't listen to him, babe. It's not worth it.
Nice design. This has some H. Moser vibes going on....at least to me.
Fun watch!
Love it on bracelet.
I waited for the like Till the RUclips Sensation 😂
Brilliant 👏
I like the watch, not a fan of the shirt, the watch deserves better. Nice review.
38mm😱 looks very chunky. Small movement in chunky case!
Lume filled trough. Yes.
I love it.
I win?
It´s gorgeous but that stain in the lume at the seconds dial on a u$d 1000 watch... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Is not s stain, is the shadow of the red dot after applying the UV torch for video purposes
Great video, but the watch doesn't do it for me aesthetically (unlike your seven inch wrist).
I've heard of Direnzo. How's that crow taste, Evan? Bet you're embarrassed now!
I’ve brought shame to my family.
I have heard of Direzo watches and,......ugh.
Hey, you’re funny.
Lmao why was my comment deleted? I just said it looked a bit like a Parmigiani, which is a compliment.. 😂
Thanks but I move on to something else
