Hello and welcome to the Premiere of the first ever Direnzo on my channel! Would love to get your feedback both on the unique watch and my review. For those of you that have not yet subscribed to the channel, all I can promise is that I will always try giving fair, informative reviews to lesser known independent watchmakers in an effort to promote originality and creativity. No "clomages", no safe designs (well, maybe once in a while). You may also want to check my website where I post as often as I could the written form of the reviews, interviews with microbrand owners and news: watchyawant.net.
Fantastic review Antonio! Thanks a lot! The intro is masterpiece and the comment about the Direnzo microwave made me laugh a lot! I do enjoy the 06 on leather though 😊… thank you once again for your time!
Damn! That intro! I wish i could have reviewed this watch. It will wear massive on my wrist. Love that bracelet taper though. I agree this should only be on a bracelet. Great video and love how the direnzo b-roll works with your lighting style. Seameless!
Thank you so much, Jayson, it means the world to me getting such great feedback! I even wrote a poem, can you believe it, but in the end I thought it would be too cheesy 😂 And... unprofessional 😂
Holy crap Toni....the intro alone is worth the price of admission. Somewhere Stanley Kubrick is blushing. Thanks for a good review of a beautiful watch. 🎉
Great review! I love everything about the watch, except for one important aspect: I find the seconds sub-dial in white to be visually glaring. It bothers me anew every time this watch pops up for review. I'd be very interested to see the sub-dial with lighter colored dots on a dark or dial-colored background, but since it is a signature design element, I suspect that won't happen. I think if it would I'd definitely add this watch to my wish list.
Thank you! While I can definitely understand your point, the main reason I can think of that your interesting idea will not happen is the lume. As you conceded, the whole concept is focused on getting the wandering star to pop, especially in the dark. But yeah, thinking about a pale yellow disc moving on an aventurine dial/disk ensemble sounds very appealing. Edit: aventurine wouldn't work, obviously... :D A deeeeep dark blue.
Such an exquisite design by Sergio and a great review by you, Toni. Comparing this to the DRZ05 I owned, it definitely seems like quite a bulkier presence. The sweet spot for slimmer wrists would probably be the DRZ02R (my personal favourite), DRZ03 (searching everywhere for that blood red) and the DRZ05. In any case, I know not of another designer that has such synergy between all his creations. Well done!
SYNERGY! That's the bloody word tat kept elluding me! Damn, I should've called you! I believe this is more streamlined than the Aerolite, so not sure why you'd place that one as a better option for slimmer wrists. As always, multumesc pentru sprijin!
@@themicrobrandexpert SYNERGYYY! 😁Keep it for the next watch that would deserve this word. It's true that I didn't have a chance to hold the 02r in hand, but I guess it tricked me into thinking it has a slimmer profile. Interesting 🤔.
I just figured. How is this possible that I don't own a Direnzo yet? :) Must be more disciplined on the premiere dates - to catch one before they sellout.
"Attention please, all Direnzians are kindly requested to receive their "Thank you!" model. Thank you..." (pun intended😋) PS I see a lot of praise for your intro, have to follow too, but please please please do NOT become Urban Gentry, am i clear? 🤪
I knew it! Was too lazy to check on previous comments, but I had this memory of someone calling this "fan service". I don't agree, for what it's worth. No, there's no risk to see me surrounded by car miniatures and antiques any time soon. No privileges here, just good old-fashioned Eastern European sordidness.
@@themicrobrandexpert Not "fan service" but a "fan thank you" i'll insist, if i may. Not saying it's bad btw. As for sordidness, i'm not afraid of us, as long as it doesn't get in our soul, rest we know and manage.

Thank you for trusting me, Sergio! A "masterpiece" is as good as the muse that inspires it, so thank you for that too!

Oh, Fred... I AM blushing... You're too kind, man!
@@themicrobrandexpert I agree this watch is great on a bracelet!
Well, THIS is an endorsement if I ever saw one!

Really nice design!

Stunning
Direct question what's the price 😅
$850 on leather, $885 on bracelet.

This one's still available, you know...
@@themicrobrandexpert that's true! I hope it lasts until march. This month a visit to the Omega store stretched my budget a little;)
