Love all of Sergio's designs and it's great to have a brand owner be so engaged with his customer base and the watch community as a whole. I had an original 02 which I regretfully sold so I may have to pick one of these up. Thanks for giving us a closer look.
I always liked the DRZ 02. This looks great on a strap, yet the nonchalance in which Sergio has worked this into an integrated bracelet look amazes me!
Think that they might look fantastic on a rubber coloured strap too. They look like they would work in the office and on the beach at the weekend. Thanks for this review!
I got the bright orange dial one during the reissue (those things sold out fast). Absolutely stunning piece. Even friends who don’t care about watches commented on how nice it looked. Wears good on my 6.75” (approximately 17cm) wrist. Also ended up getting the diver’s clasp. It’s actually not that bad.
I love Direnzo watches, I own a first gen DRZ3 Eclipse and I love the unique look. This model dropped on my radar recently and I have been waiting with baited breath for a review and you don't disappoint. My preferences for watch types and certain complications have changed or evolved over the years, I was a diver or nothing guy for a very long time, and if it didn't have a date, it was a non-starter. I have since taken in interest in unique, non-diver watches like this one, but I was concerned with the butterfly clasp, which is still a non-starter for me, so I am very glad Sergio decided to include the fold-over clasp, but I hope he watches your vidieo and offers a third option with on-the-fly micro adjusts.
Beautiful time piece, the only issue I have with this watch is that with so many gorgeous colors I will have a hard time choosing witch one is perfect for me. Almost wants you wanting one of each color 😅
Grey with orange, or burnt orange are true 70s watch vibe together with the cushion case...Oh Direnzo I just got mine Mandala Burst not even a month on a wrist...If I didn't purchase Mandala I'd go instant for the DRZ O2R. Awesome watch.
Those negatives aren’t negatives! Clasps are gorgeous and I love the butterfly clasp. Not the kind of watch you’re too bothered about eye blinding lume either. I
Definite (and subtle) improvements on the original. The date wheel treatment is genius. I still struggle with the squarish case… perhaps a slightly larger bezel to balance?
Horray, a new video! This is a beautiful watch with a pin cushion like case, and I love the dial of this watch. Even though this is 39mm, it looks big on your 18mm wrist. I think this has to do with the 28mm tapered bracelet. It feels more like they design this as a bangle bracelet with a watch. Personally, I would use sw 300-1 and slim down the case to a close 36mm. The taper bracelet should be reduced to a 24mm down to a 18mm. Since this watch wears big, I believe by reducing the overall dimension will bring it down to a 40mm watch feel. Slimmer and lighter feels better on the wrist. 146g is a bit heavy for me. Another great video! Cheers
Great looking watch. The orange especially. Clean design and although it looks like an integrated bracelet, it isnt . Thats cool. I find it hard to love micro brand watches, but its probably where the value in watches lie. Maybe they should offer it on a rubber strap with clasp contrasting the different colurways , for a bit more versatility, and drilled lugs ?
Great review , thanks. I have been very impressed by this brand. Bought the blue dial drz 04 mondial. Stunning watch! Also have the drz 03v2 eclipse with a red dial. How can a diver be so beautiful ? That one came with a great bracelet and a bright red tropical strap. He came out with a beads of rice bracelet later for this diver. Took this watch to another level of elegance. I don't need any more watches, but that gray and orange dial is speaking to me😂.
Just a note on the butterfly clasps. I have the optional fold over milled clasp. Never installed it because for me, it would have ruined the tapper and look of the bracelet.
I was hoping this would pop up on your channel. Very helpful. I'm seriously considering one. I ultimately never went for one of the DRZ04s, but came close a few times. These dimensions are likely better for me. That said, because it wears big (and 146grams is not light, is it?) the way the black wears suits me better. However, I agree this watch screams colour and somehow that orange caught my attention at first glance. I do think that anticipating the complaints about clasps is a little unwarranted given your praise for the butterfly otherwise. I think to remember you coming to a similar conclusion on the DRZ04, as did many. With half links, sure there won't be on the fly adjustment, but there will be precision fit. Would a likely more clunky micro-adjust clasp really improve things on the whole?
I went back to the DRZ04 review and stand corrected on the clasp issue. It seems half links make the difference though and these are now also available on the DRZ04. That said the lug-to-lug on the DRZ02 should make it easier for me to find a great fit overall. With the half links I would have little concern.
How long lasting is the lume? I have a DRZ03 v1 black dial and the lume is very underwhelming. Interested to know if this has been improved on these watches?
Blimey this is a really really nice looking watch. I love that dial. Shame it’s not a screw down crown or it would have been seriously considered Peter, the DRZ04 or the Monta noble for you? Yes I’m still going on about the watch you tried to drown. Which I was gonna get u til the CW 12 came along Then I found a zenith classic defy which is stunning Help me
Haha..it sounds like your in a dilemma The best way to buy a watch is decide what you want the watch for..., then narrow it down to a few models that catch your eye The descision in the end will depend upon what speak to YOU and YOU alone bro👍
Because of the flutted shape of the side case, it was not possible to make it screwdown (like the Mondial) either way, at 10 atm is quite normal to find watches without screwdown crowns, thanks
I find this watch to be more exciting than CW 12. Sublime design, a future classic.
I love those dials. Especially how it curves up to the bezel.
Love all of Sergio's designs and it's great to have a brand owner be so engaged with his customer base and the watch community as a whole. I had an original 02 which I regretfully sold so I may have to pick one of these up. Thanks for giving us a closer look.

Thank you so much as always! 😃
The orange is stunning
Oh, that Direnzo person is a fantastic designer.
Great watch. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I've found my yearly purchase. I can't wait.
I like how Sergio is refining all the older models and improving them.
Thanks a lot!
Direnzo makes very beautiful watches at a good price.
Love the case shape on this one.

Never owned a Direnzo before but I'm a big fan of what Sergio does and he's a really nice guy too :)
Thanks a lot!
Absolutely 👍
Excellent photography Peter!
Thank you Wayne
I've not seen anything similar looking to this. Looks great to me. Lots of choice colour wise.
Very interesting watch, nice to see.

Beautiful watch. Thanks for for the review.
Glad you liked it!
Love this new update to an old model. The refinements are very good. As usual, is pretty damn hard to pick one color to choose.
Thank you! hope you are doing well and enjoying your white 04!
I like this one, like the fact it looks like an integrated bracelet but you can still change it up if you want. 👍
Yes, it fits great this model and makes it very polivalent.
The only thing stopping me buying this watch is the dial design. it hits all the other design elements I like. Well showcased as usual Peter.
Definite (and subtle) improvements on the original. The date wheel treatment is genius. I still struggle with the squarish case… perhaps a slightly larger bezel to balance?
Killer dials. Have not heard of this brand. Thank you! Going to the site now!
Thank you! is a very special piece...
@@direnzowatches Le design est définitivement exquis ! Bravo
Great black dial! The hands float above the dial! Also great that it tapers to 17.9mm. I was sure it would be 20mm

V nice design and quality and i think is new design.
Nice looking watch, black one is the better looking
Glad you like it!

I was on the Direnzo site only yesterday Peter, looking for any new upcoming releases. Well done mate!👍🏼😎
Cool, thanks Andrew
Can you explain why you didn't throw the watch on straps? 20mm space between the lugs and the bracelet is quick release.
Been hoping to see these new models on other straps, NATO, leather, rubber. Just to get a full picture.

@@Koishishibaman Thank you so much! glad to know your are enjoying the 03 and 04, those are very special to me...
excellent execution of that date window there 🔥🔥
Nice , like the case and design , very much a Brew style in its presentation but a bit more refined .
That is an absolutely stunning design - and Im normally not into cushion case design.
Thanks a lot!
It'd be like a television on your arm I remember watches like this in the 70s to chunky looking
Epic design 😮
Thank you so much!
Holy guacamole. Now that's an integrated watch. I like. 🤤
Thank you!!!!
Handsome watch! Great review,btw!👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you kindly Bernard 👍👍
Très beau model de chez Direnzo !
J'ai hâte de la commander !
J'hesite entre deux couleurs : Bleu ou orange ....votre avis ?
I like both 😊
Very nice watch and a great review. Thanks Peter

There's not a single feature of this watch that I like except the movement.
These will go fast.
Hope so, thanks!
hi,will on my 7.5 inch wrist will look to small?ty
It wears bigger than the dimensions suggest 👍

You can’t go wrong on either of these two Sweet Sexy Retro Design with Super Lume Timepieces.
Yesterday I was searching for the web site,.. and it is looks that is gone...

For a sports watch it's very good, as good as my Omega Aqua Terra.
Remember these are not dive watch territory and they don't pretend to be 👍

Very nice. I like the brushed look. The strap reminds me of a Citizen Spider
Hi Peter:
I would like to know your opinion about an almost perfect watch. Cheers from Chile !!!
Hi Fabian, which watch my friend?
not bad for 750 chf or 900 USD for SW 200
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it William
One more great video
The worst feeling is choosing which one to get… they’re all exquisite……
Thank you so much!
hhhmmmmm................. me thinks i like it 3:09 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just needs screw down crown and then im sold.

Nice.. but looks like a Ming 🤔
Hmm I don't know, the dial is a beauty, the case though, feels as a depiction of trying to fit a circle peg in a square hole… not my cup of tea
No "In-House" Movement = Driving a Car with a Borrowed Steering Wheel 🤔
More like driving a beautiful car designed by an artist/architect with great automotive sensibilities and powered by a Mercedes engine.
