In this video, our pugmill mixer is being commissioned in NJ. Purchased by a contractor from New Jersey the pugmill system was designed and engineered with a self-contained collapsible stacking conveyor to offload mix, eliminating the need to haul a separate conveyor to the jobsite. The pugmill mixer was brought to Florida for a cold mix asphalt production project, producing cold mix asphalt that was used for roadway paving.
This 200 tph Olympus pugmill includes a single elongated 7.85CY bin, with an 18" active floor belt conveyor feeding a 24" collecting belt, integrated Rice Lake belt scale, integrated Sauer Danfoss Plus1 monitoring system, asphalt pump. The pugmill was also fitted with a John Deere 90KW generator set.
