I love those 2 skid steers.
Seriously, that guy at 2.30 has not been doing this job for long. I guess I'm really used to seeing trucks move perfectly in sink with the snow blower during winter. Our truckers have got that down to a science. And seriously, they are resurfacing that street? That looks really good by any standards in Canada. Winter has a way to just wreck our roads. There aren't all that many road millers in my area. Generally speaking, when we rehabilitate a street, we tear up the entire thing down the the sub bed because it has shifted too much and needs to be leveled, or completely rebuilt from scratch.

Indy 500 for the milling guy lol. I've done milling jobs as a dump truck driver,never have i ever seen a operator mill so fast unless they are in a hurry

These streets aren't even in bad condition. Come take a look at some of the streets in New Orleans. They're a disgrace. I'm sure there are many that haven't been properly repaved in over 40 years.

Jeez, talk about lowest bidder wins the contract. Operator on the cold planer looked like he was trying to win the Indy 500, half of the drivers couldn’t keep pace to save their lives, and that backhoe operator at 7:30 would’ve gotten walked off the job if my boss seen him leave half of his pile on the ground like that. It just seemed rushed and sloppy all around.
The milling machine driver could really give clearer signals, but the dumper drivers can all be smoked in the pipe.
If this was my construction site, they wouldn't be driving there the next day.....

A little advise different states have different rules and ways of doing things. Just because you do it one way doesn’t mean another company is doing it wrong.

They don't have enough trucks, they are going too fast, one cut they should be done. They mill roads I n West Virginia every summer, they don't leave all that extra milling after their pass. They have some one put down new lines after they mill a ways ahead.
Sweeper operator, no hard hat and safety vest. Wouldn't fly in my company. Get down off the truck better have both on. Some companies leave that big pile for the sweeper, I'll back in with my rear broom in and dig it out. Milling sweeping all day everyday.
They're working on my road here in Madrid, Spain. Ignitions on and surrounding apartments shaking at 7am on the dot!
