Tottenham fans fear of Arsenal fans banter was greater than their ambition and desire for their club to win, even the strong possibility of achieving Champions League. If the fans had been behind Tottenham on Tuesday night very likely they would have beaten City.
They would have then arisen above the bitter depressing noise and chatter around them. Their manager is clever enough to get it, he knows that mentally it could have been the biggest boost ever for Tottenham going forward ✌🏼🙏🏼

Ange is addressing a general glitch in club mentality, which is kryptonite to success, not slagging off the fans. But it was plain to see he doesn't understand or respect that Arsenal-fearingperspective.
He's only soeaking from the perspective of a man in charge with changing a culture, and then winning everything. He's doing this to tease the kryptonite to the surface and pop it like the gangrenous mega-zit it has been for years and years, festering on the rear-end of the Spurs.
I mean that's not debatable is it? You can't be that unlucky for that long.
It has been brought up in different ways up by several top class managers, and that zit is the common denominator, but the difference is Ange and them is that at least two of them thought Tottenham WAS the zit. Foolish man. He lost to my very poor Chelsea and lost to Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool straight. Spurs fans were in the right to do everything for City to win them.

It must be quite an experience for Ange to be at Spurs where a good portion of fans seem to care more about another club's success than their own.. 🫤

Sick of these foreign managers crying and moaning about everything too many games don’t like the fans reaction ? They know what it was like when I come here and they got offered a massive paycheck so just shut up and get on with it this is England
