      Not to mention the fact that Spurs were facing a block that involved games against the top three of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and away at rivals Chelsea. SIx out of 12 points was the max we expected. It currently stands at 0/9 and Man City remain. It's fine. • @davidthompson9141
      @davidthompson9141 6 месяцев назад +1

      I disagree, much of what he says is BS. He says he took over a squad that were 8th and going downwards as players were getting to an age where they needed a new challenge. He took over an incomplete but hugely promising young squad and was given significant resources to plug the gaps.
      He's added 3 non goalscorers to the front 3 that are only there for pace and nothing else. He also only has 2 attacking plays which have become hugely predictable and easy for the opposition to stop. He doesnt know how to break down a low block defence either and has dropped 23 points against pretty weak low blocks, forget about the better ones we will run into. Add to that he cant drill a defence and he isnt addressing basic problems week after week.
      I stopped buying the hype months ago. I think he will improve us a bit this summer but I think we'll still fall far short of what is required and probably have a write off of a season next season if he stays.

We must stick with Ange as we can see the younger academy teams are doing so well atm and Levy needs to back Ange for at least 2 seasons if not more like most people have said it took Klopp and Arteta a few seasons to get a trophy but their fan bases were also divided for a while too. Back Ange. He is honest. He says it how he sees it. As armchair fans we always feel as though we sometimes know better. But we don't and neither do most pundits. Yes we have certain frailties and raised eyebrows (set pieces etc), but he will sort this. It is a marathon, not a sprint. Sadly in today's world we are expecting ourselves over the finishing line before we have even begun to race.

    A lot of love here for the guy, and i get it, he's got a tremendous genuineness about him but the reality is that his high press approach has been found wanting and unless he accepts that adapting in the EPL is not a choice but a necessity than there'll be more of the same next season. Spurs are an extremely easy team to score against and the attitude of "they score 3, we'll score 4" simply wont cut it. 70% possession in many games, but end up losing isn't clever tactics.

  • @happypuppy439
    @happypuppy439 6 месяцев назад +3

    Ange can't win anything in epl or Champs with his extreme high line system. It's too risky in many ways. He wants to play attacking football but he doesn't even have many attacking patterns. And he ignores defensive tactics and set piece tactics. He lost 22 goals from set pieces but he says it's not important.😅 He doesn't analyze his opponent teams' play style. He is doing the same thing for 1 year even though other teams have finished analyzing his football. That's why he is losing continuously now. But he never made any complement about his system at all. All his opponents now park tbe bus, counterattack, and use set piece patterns to win against Tottenham. That's the obvious solution to win them. 😅
    Ange's build-up pattern is also always the same. That's why they lose the ball continuously in the middle because their opponents already know what they will do.

    Tottenham ranks 4th in Europe in spending on player recruitment over the past 3 years. Stop blaming the players. The current loss streak due to disgraceful performance is entirely Ange's fault. If your tactics don't work, you should think of the next best solution, but you're not doing that at all. Go to the Scottish league where you were.

      The reality for Tottenham right now is that the first half of the last three games are at our team's current level. In the second half of those games, the opposing teams played loosely and we scored. If the opposing teams had played like the first half, it would have been a disaster. If he is not sacked and starts next season, I don't think he will be able to make it past September anyway.
