Klopp was head coach for 4 years before he won with Liverpool. Arteta is now 4.5 years in at Arsenal. This is year 1 folks. I back Ange fully. I back Spurs fully. My one selfish wish is that Sonny wins a trophy with Spurs before he retires. COYS!!!
Big same here, seen to many great players leave without a trophy I sell my organs for Sonny to win something with us.
Good comment. Fans need that reminder.
Agree, Son needs to win something with Spurs.
Excellent take, I would add Levy gone and then I'm good.
Nah, Ive seen too many problems and weaknesses in the coaching and system this season to think it will bring success at the top level.
This man is the epitome of a leader. Give him time. He’s done enough to show us a glimpse of the future. Have faith people. Stick with the process.
What’s he done mate? Managed in Mickey Mouse leagues and shown he has no idea how to defend over here
100%...when looking at a coach I look at personality, character and leadership qualities, Ange has those in abundance and given time and the right personnel he will prove the doubters wrong.

@@a.demifemiflapo5795 ultimately Levy is the problem at the club but imho Ange has better leadership qualities than Mourinho.

Brilliantly spoken by Ange. Not only will he prove to be the best manager we’ve ever had, he’s also proved he’s a real positive guy
Whilst these last few weeks have been rough, I have no doubt he is the man to take us forward. Love him.

I like the boys' reaction. They're upset but it's clear that they're fighters and that fighting quality is absolutely vital. The manager and the boys have the talent to sort it out. Looking forward to better days ahead.

I'm no fan of Spurs but a hell of a lot of fans, me included, would love to have Ange as their manager.
He's the best chance that Spurs have to move forward. He needs to be be backed properly in the transfer market this summer.
I disagree, much of what he says is BS. He says he took over a squad that were 8th and going downwards as players were getting to an age where they needed a new challenge. He took over an incomplete but hugely promising young squad and was given significant resources to plug the gaps.
He's added 3 non goalscorers to the front 3 that are only there for pace and nothing else. He also only has 2 attacking plays which have become hugely predictable and easy for the opposition to stop. He doesnt know how to break down a low block defence either and has dropped 23 points against pretty weak low blocks, forget about the better ones we will run into. Add to that he cant drill a defence and he isnt addressing basic problems week after week.
I stopped buying the hype months ago. I think he will improve us a bit this summer but I think we'll still fall far short of what is required and probably have a write off of a season next season if he stays.

Losing Perisic and Solomon for the season is also a much bigger loss than people realise considering Ange’s tactics and the importance of having intelligent progressive wingers.
Ppl underestimate the creativity and technical ability of perisic and Solomon - they were key in the form we had beginning of the year
Yeah man ! Perisic would have been of great use these days
Solomon should be in League 1
Ivan is one of the best traditional wingers in the world
What are u on about , Solomon sucks
Hes the man. Love how he doesn't change his tacticts to suit the players. He has his vision, and he will just change his players over time to suit his style
Mate , he bought Johnson ,,Madison, he wanted them 🤣….he”ll buy another 2 and then if they don’t play well ,he’ll want another 2 players 🤣
@@IT-li3ul To be fair, I don't think he wants rid of them. Maddison is rumoured to be carrying an injury and Johnson is still learning. I think the players he's looking to upgrade or ship out are Royal, Gil, Sessegnon, Ndombele, Lo Celso and Hojbjerg (as well as others who are so far down the pecking order I've forgotten them).
Ange is always more sincere and happy to talk to international journalist than PL ones 😅😂 must be because he knows that international journalist won’t twist his words for clicks unlike the PL ones.
Edit: yes I know it’s mark shwarzer 🙄 my bad for saying “journalist” to those saying he’s not a journalist - pundit then? Interviewer? -
Most British journalists are just after click/reader bait at any expense & either don't do their research or just like to wind him up given that they're always trying to twist different answers to the same questions out of him. It's clear from a lot of them that they have a preset answer in their minds that they want to pry out for a headline.
@@Serpsss yeah it always fascinated me how Ange gives eye contact to international journalist but has little time for PL ones…. I started to catch on when I saw the clickbait headlines and then actually watched his full answers to them -

We have to back ange through to next year. His first season in Japan he finished 12th, this guy knows how to build a team from the ground up. I'm honestly surprised that he keeps mentioning a title charge next year where I think it's more realistic in his 3rd or 4th season. With a couple more transfer windows I truly believe spurs will have a better chance to win anything than our last few managers.
Like what he did was Brisbane roar and with a salary cap. Dominating like that on a level playing field is unheard of
@realife1542 still the longest undefeated streak in all codes in Australia 👍 36 games.
He has to mention a title charge next year. Otherwise what’s the point of him being there? He doesn’t have ambitions to finish 4th or 5th. No manager should!
I could not agree more, you can also look at the way brisbane roar and how they evolved so quickly and aggressively.
Ange will do great things the hard part is managing our expectations on what the team has earned and what we expect.
Be prepared for the ground work which may disappoint but brings years and years of greatness we did not expect. Ange has that ability and clearly wants to deliver.
It's too early to judge on what he can do, but it's easy to judge what he intends to do
What he done in Japan and Australia? 😂😂😂😂😂 go down in folk law that will 🤡🤡🤡
I like Ange's approach and being a long suffering Spurs fan, I feel it is time the club started to build, something.
Love this guy, best manager since Poch hands down. He will take us to the next level.

@@Thoushaltplaymore Yeah Howe is decent, but he's had similar issues at Newcastle and they're below Spurs so I'm happy 🤷♂
@@jacklane3679 we played in Europe this season too. You had no distractions. And in the end we may both end up on the same competition....

He's also had two and half years building the club in his image and has got them to a point they have UCL qualification, so he's obviously doing really well.
Ange is less than a year into a completely new project with comparable challenges to all the teams directly below him this season. I can see what he's trying to do and he's not panicking at all or adding to the external pressure. So again, yeah I'm happy with him 🤷♂️

He is having another crack at the A League with the flower among the weeds comment not hyping it up. Standing on his convictions because football has shot itself in the foot a few times in Australia and he has been critical of its management for years.
And it is a very big deal for him to manage a Premier League club in a game in his home town with maybe 90000 spectators at one of the great stadiums in the world. His referencing the G wasn’t missed by those that know.

That's my manager 👏🏽
A lot of love here for the guy, and i get it, he's got a tremendous genuineness about him but the reality is that his high press approach has been found wanting and unless he accepts that adapting in the EPL is not a choice but a necessity than there'll be more of the same next season. Spurs are an extremely easy team to score against and the attitude of "they score 3, we'll score 4" simply wont cut it. 70% possession in many games, but end up losing isn't clever tactics.
Trusting Ange and the process….COYS!
Do not play Emerson Royal again, don't keep dismissing LoCelso and Dragusin, Son is not a number 9 and learn from YOUR mistakes.

You've just watched a video with a football manager where he does not directly talk about football.
Hopefully we'll have another decent transfer window(incomings and outgoings) so we can push on forward.
People have been waiting for this chance to stick the knives in but I think it's the time that he is finding out which players have the bottle to step up to the plate and show him what they're made of in the hard times and some players have been found wanting to be honest. I won't say who I think they are but it will be interesting to see who will be still here next season.
My manager
Any Spurs fan that wants this man gone is clueless about football
Why you don't have any detailed strategies depending on the different situations on the pitch??
Who says he doesn't? Why would he tell the world?
Conceded 9 goals in 3 games tells me he’s 💩
Poch, Jose and Conte were all good/great coaches in their own right. They couldn't get Spurs a trophy. We must stick with Ange as we can see the younger academy teams are doing so well atm and Levy needs to back Ange for at least 2 seasons if not more like most people have said it took Klopp and Arteta a few seasons to get a trophy but their fan bases were also divided for a while too. It's about the journey. We have no divine right!!!
Where is the Fonz poster?
Thanks Ange for clearly things up. I have to support my fellow aussie manager.
Although I am disappointed with the recent results, I am backing Ange to make Spurs a success if he is fully backed by Daniel and given at least couple of seasons to do it.
Fully back ange and we will be ok. Over to Levy this summer.
Some fans forget we are rebuilding. NOT competing. Doesnt mean we had a good start means we're there competing. It just meant there are glimpse of what we're capable of and we build on it. What are fans expecting this season? Qualifying and competing in CL next? C'mon, Europa next season will be a good test after the summer rebuild. BE EXCITED!
Ange can't win anything in epl or Champs with his extreme high line system. It's too risky in many ways. He wants to play attacking football but he doesn't even have many attacking patterns. And he ignores defensive tactics and set piece tactics. He lost 22 goals from set pieces but he says it's not important.😅 He doesn't analyze his opponent teams' play style. He is doing the same thing for 1 year even though other teams have finished analyzing his football. That's why he is losing continuously now. But he never made any complement about his system at all. All his opponents now park tbe bus, counterattack, and use set piece patterns to win against Tottenham. That's the obvious solution to win them. 😅
Ange's build-up pattern is also always the same. That's why they lose the ball continuously in the middle because their opponents already know what they will do.
Whiplash manager changes are always going to be tricky. He's doing great.
Back Ange. He is honest. He says it how he sees it. As armchair fans we always feel as though we sometimes know better. But we don't and neither do most pundits. Yes we have certain frailties and raised eyebrows (set pieces etc), but he will sort this. It is a marathon, not a sprint. Sadly in today's world we are expecting ourselves over the finishing line before we have even begun to race.
Finally looking people in the eye, instead of staring at the carpet 🤡
This man is a National Living Treasure.

Pep said they musk keep managers for more years, then they will see the improvement. I hope TOTTENHAM will keep Ange
I would’ve started the interview off by asking why Tottenham get battered everywhere they go
Ange is a good manager for what he did in his first spell at spurs without premier league expirience , creating a offensive style of play and passion and believe back to club after losing the team best stiker kane and other veterant like lloris and perisic plus injuries , he need to learn from this season and levy need to back him so the team can improve in what it lacking (defensevely and squad bench in terms of quality and injury like this season) to win a trophy wish have been a long time goal of the club and the fans and the players
Mark Schwarzer does a pretty good job with these interviews.
Why does he keep on mentioning the title
He’s a wanna be ,,thinks he’s a world beater
I am still not sure. Like Mourinhio and Conte, Ange has said he needs new players. And so it goes.
Love this guy
Why do you constantly have any topic about Ange? No offence but had you looked into where most Australian players play? You should do a feature on the Australian players in Scotland. Hearts of Midlothian have 4 Aussie players where the majority play. Never once seen anything about them? I understand the importance of him being an Australian icon in the UK but come on.
We have trust Ange in the mid and long term. Spurs can’t progress with the burn down the house model like the last 5 years.
Trust, investment and patience…

It was always going to be a very steep learning curve for him. I think his tactics have been found out and he doesn't have seem to have other options. I do hope he can turn it around as he's a very decent guy and deserves more time. Spurs is a tough nut for any manager to crack
What's so decent about him? He says 'mate' a lot? Seems borderline aggressive in some press conferences now that his tactics have been found out & his players are exhausted. He'll be on his way out the door halfway through next season when the run of disastrous resuts continues.
@@sratusonly sensible comment I’ve read in this thread so far.
@Saratus,
So who Tottenham going to get to replace him ATM? Problems at spurs run deeper than the manager. They have had Mouriniho and Conte and they could do nothing with spurs but look at there achievements everywhere else. You have to get it right from the top down and the manager is 1 piece of that.
Ange needs time, he needs to be backed by the owners and Levy and given funds to get players he wants to play the way he wants.
They did not back Mouriniho or Conte and if they don't back Ange it will be the same result.
If you watch spurs games, you can easily figure out that spurs are lacking in attack to play ange ball. So when he gets some good wingers and a striker, he will turn it around in no time
