@gugatiela the update is really fun once you get used to the "spider". the only thing that annoys me abouy the spider is sometimes it like to camp beside the corners which is really annoying

I always loved the Granny games, seeing a new update come to this game even after 5 years and seeing Ryan come back to it. Brings back so much nostalgia, I redownloaded the games because of this, I hope the Steam versions come back soon too. DVloper did an amazing job keeping this series going.

It's always nice to see a British RUclipsr fleeing from his granny who keeps a gigantic spider monster in her basement. I like how all of Ryan's horror intros have a certain pattern. It starts off with an intense moment, with him screaming, and then it cuts to him being fine and things calming down. For the final part, it has his face zoom in so you don't see what scared him, with a glitch transitioning the intro to the video, interrupting his scream.
In all fairness, it's become kind of iconic.
The start when he got jumpscared behind him was terrifying😂

Ryan it's much more worse than crashes you can lose the screwdriver under the sofa next to the spider trapdoor and you can glitch items through walls to where you can't get them back ever again causing you to reset but besides all that those things can happen aswell
Items that noclip out of walls/floors will respawn near the well in the backyard. It used to be in the basement but it got changed in this update.

0:25 That my man is exactly it. You underline an important thing to remember about this game. It's challenging ! It takes actual skill to beat and, sometimes, a bit of luck. Trust my expertise.

It is indeed version 1.8, don't know if that's how it's uh, called, it's just that well, the game having started at version 1.0 it's been updates enough times for it to reach the number 1.8 now is all. Shame this update brought quite a few bugs along though...

1:35 Two new things. Crouching now allows you to go under things you couldn't go under before. Like tables, or the railing. Second thing. Granny does not necessarily spawn in the Basement at the start of each day now. It is randomized between her 4 possible Respawning locations which are : Basement, Bedroom 2, Living Room, Secret Area Middle Floor. Keep that in mind for another time...
2:20 That's a bug, she shouldn't have seen you there unless the angle was perfect from down the stairs but I doubt it. No really this is the beginning, bugs in this update are really annoying, the reason being, they get you killed. Now you start off with the game seeming unfair to you, dammit.
3:08 Indeed, that's new. It's for a new puzzle you'll see later on. Problem with it is that with the way it is designed, you might not even realize what it does.
4:46 Come on now, this is an old item. It was added in version 1.6 ! It is used to open the Stair Closet, in the Main Room. That unlocks the Pepper Spray but you may sometimes need it to obtain an item like the Code, the Battery or Car Battery and now, the Chain Cutters or Wooden Stick.
5:40 Nope. Not new for one bit you just have bad memory and lack practice. This is the Sewer, it was added in version 1.7 along with the Abandoned House and the Crow right above it. Takes you back to the Meat Room on the Secret Area Middle Floor. (Btw whoever wants to be good at this game should know all those rooms' names well)
6:03 Some things are new, some things aren't. That Vent you saw was new, same for the Number 2 which is for a new puzzle. But how could you forget about the whole area, unless you- wait. When was last time you played this game ?
Ok so I checked and you totally did. 3 years ago though. "The Freeze Weapon" video to be exact. It was added in 1.7 along with this whole area, so that's not new, your mind's playing tricks on you. Understandable though, cause damn, 3 years... I was 14 😂
6:20 This is Granny's daughter, Slendrina's Mom. People call her Angelene but that name is unofficial. Don't remember her ? She's chained up behind the Bookshelf in Bedroom 2... The Book is for her Easter Egg, remember ? Speaking of which, that Easter Egg is no longer an Easter Egg now but a full part puzzle with this update, so finding that Book is actually important of you just wanna enter the new area...
6:40 Actually you do. I know all the Item Preset's of this game. The Hammer's in the Car Trunk so you definitely need that Key !
7:04 Good remark. The new update made the Secret Area Bottom Floor's floor silent. That is indeed new.
8:10 Not at all, don't worry. Even though it is also new that the water makes noise when you walk into it now, it does not attract her at all, I am formal.
9:20 Well in case it wasn't already obvious, another this update, and this update only, also did is make the game harder overall. There's one or two good things about it like your crouching speed being faster or the fact it lets you hide under more things, but with the fact there is now fall damage, silent and noisy places having changed and the fact she spawns randomly at the start of days now, it is definitely harder. Although one thing you should know is that the Dev has been kind enough to remove spawnkills when you've knocked her out and she comes back. She can no longer spawn near you. That takes out at least 2 of her 4 respawning spots generally.
9:40 Chain Cutters are new ! They fill the Cutting Pliers' use plus one more thing. Got to do with the name x)

11:50 Nope Ryan. There was no bug because you canNOT pick up the Dart. It's actually not possible and never has been. You always had to pick up the Crossbow first. (Also the fact you hid under the Bed is probably because of your controls, which is one of the main reasons one shouldn't emulate this game.)

What I know is that Slendrina's Mom (that's the same person) is gonna feel very real when you see her in her new form. (Yeah people really oughta learn the family tree in this game series, for real, do people even know Granny is Slenderman's stepmother ? True, the Dev doesn't have the rights for that but it _is_ in the game's canon, anyway. And Slendrina's Mom, whom just deflated on the floor there is his wife. And so they had Slendrina together. You have a headstart when first going to the Former Sewers because you know she's gonna be dashing to the left. Smart thing is to look where she turns after that. That does give you quite a bit of time if she goes there so use that to your advantage ! Another time...
