Hi there. Just wanted to say your guide for this was really good and i got it all working in one go. Thanks for this i now have subtitles for movies for all languages into my desired language :)
How does it make sure audio and subtitles are actually synced and have the same "framerate"? And does it work without Radarr? I already have a big collection and I want it to go through it once.
Good question. I don't know exactly how it works. It seems to be triggered when a movies or series is downloaded but you can sync manually if you already have the files. There is a button for that, I believe.
Hoping you can help, follow the setup and bazarr is successfully downloading subtitles for sonarr and radar but my problem is they are not moving anywhere when downloaded. I have the path mapping right I believe so not sure what the issue is.
When you configure the application, if I remember correctly, there was a setting that says if you want to put the subtitles next to the movies/series. Select that and it should do it.
Normally the subtitles have both parts written. You would just pick the main language. For example, if the main language of the movie is English but has some parts in Spanish, usually the subtitle creator translates that part into English.
@@techbytetips Bazarr says is paths are same you don't need mappings I cant figure this out worked back in the day but this is new install, Followed this tutorial very good by the say but can't get past this error.
Hi@@Dudleydogg! Sorry about the late reply. You should have mapped the share(s) to the Bazarr container. Bazarr needs to have access to the locations where you store your TV/Anime/Movies. Then, when you configure the Sonarr and Radarr connections, you'll see the Path Mappings at the very bottom. In there, you have to map the location in Sonar to the location in Bazarr and the location in Radarr to the location in Bazarr. Bazarr has to be properly mapped for it to find the files, know where to dump the subtitles, and work properly. Hope it helps.
@@techbytetips Yep i had the container settings wrong went back removed, made absolute, then went to Sonar/Radar settings and just selected in drop and and it worked. Just got confused between the container and what you set in the app. its working perfect now and appreciate your tutorials,.
Very helpful. Especially the part about adding the language profile. That's the part that was tripping me up.

Error 500 happened to me under Python 2.0. Installed 3.9 and even it is still happens, it won't disconnect the UI. So Upgrade your Python :)

Have you watched the rest of the series? You are not giving any useful information in this comment. I can't help you like that.
