What is #ASMR ?
To me ASMR is an art form, just as a movie can put you in a different state of mind, so can ASMR. The difference being, movies achieve this state of mind as a byproduct, while ASMR strives to find those bits and amplify them. Over the years ASMR has greatly evolved from a simple tingle to a full body and mind experience. With an infinite amount of genres designed to help you, most popularly it can be used for relaxation, focus, motivation, stress and anxiety relief.
As the asmr community rapidly grows so does it's understanding. No longer is asmr a guilty pleasure but rather a scientifically studied and proven method of relaxation as a branch of meditation. As a follower of ASMR you know just how beneficial it can be first hand, and if you are new, I greatly encourage you to step into this new world with and open mind... just be sure you're ready for it to be blown.

I had my first kiss in 9th grade too. we were sitting on his couch and he tried to turn my head towards him to kiss me, but I got scared so I turned my head all the way and ended up burying my face into the couch so he kissed the side of my head. I started freaking out and told him I needed to leave, but he insisted that we "try that again" so I leaned in and he very awkwardly placed his lips on mine for like 4 seconds. I was mortified :))))))

It depends where you live, cox im in high school and I’m 12. I think it’s kind of like middle school and high school smooshed together I think.

I was listening to this before sleeping and I smiled so much, especially your story about the kiss and how you are showing us with your hands, which made me understand exactly how those awkward kissing moments went. So what was the story about your head getting stuck in the fence? You mention it but you are not telling the story hihi. Now I am so curious what happened. I hope you will tell us more of these stories, it's so nice when people show their vulnerability like this cause we can relate to that so well. This is what we ourselves seem to go through may times in life but never talk about, that's why it's so freeing to hear someone talk about their awkward experiences. It opens the paths in a way for others to be brave enough to tell their own awkward stories as well. Thanks for that. Most relatable thing I’ve ever seen.
Oh, PJ, you are such a cute guy. Unfortunately, social anxiety is so deeply written into one's nervous system that it is very hard to fully erase. Mine got considerably better with medication and more experience in the world, but awkwardness is still an uncomfortably big part of my life. I hope you find a way to navigate your brain's whims better as time goes by, because it would be a shame if people in real life did not get a chance to see the thoughtful, sweet, caring person behind that exceedingly handsome face.

I Love hearing other people’s embarrassing stories too, and it’s comforting to hear that other people struggle with being themselves. I’m almost 19, When I do feel myself I’m the happiest so I’m working on it too. I know this video was a year ago but still.
Today a safelite repair guy came he was young and I came outside and said hi and he started to explain himself and his voice kept cracking and fluctuating, stumbling over his words and everything and I just stood there smiling. You wanna talk about an awkward first kiss... I went with my best friend to a concert, where we met up with her boyfriend and his friend. I was under the impression they were setting me up with the friend, so I was hanging out with him all night. At the end of the night, we hugged and he went in for a kiss so I went with it. Meanwhile, another friend of theirs took off running out of the room and threw up. For a while, I thought he was grossed out that he saw me and the guy kissing... later found out that the friend who threw up had been told they were going to set me up with HIM, not the one I was told they were setting me up with. So there I was with my best friend, her boyfriend, his friend I kissed, and the friend that threw up... awkwarrrrrrrd.
This video was so embarassing.. didnt wanted to listen anymore so i fell asleep. Great video!
