I got to see Todd Snider in a packed theater (200-300 seater) and he had shoes on and went to tie them. I didnt meant to but I accedently said “I thought you didnt wear shoes” (i was front row, dead center) and then he proceeded to tell me why he does now. On another note, Guy Clark is my favorite songwriter of all time. And hearing this version of the famous story of writers meeting Guy for the first time is awesome. I have a guy I talk to around town when we run into each other that wrote a few with Guy. And he had a Hayes Carll style of the story.
