Collector Spotlight: Kewpie83's Room Tour

- Many (and I mean many!) have asked for a room tour. I was a little hesitant to post one, b/c I just don't have the proper space to display most of my collection like I want to. However, I thought I would try to make a video that showcased my entire collection. It's a little long, so forgive me for the length!
I still plan on taking specific collections within my collection out, for a slightly more detailed review of them! So keep watching!

hi Kewpie. I'm 45 and started collecting dolls. I started collecting lalaloopsy. I think they're cute. sometimes I feel a little strange ,but I tell myself there's nothing wrong with it.

I love seeing other collectors doll collections! Maybe because of that, it didn't seem like a long video to me. You have a really nice and diverse collection. I know what you mean about space for everyone to be properly displayed, it's always at a premium when you are a collector. I have a fondness for Skipper too, but I really like the teen Skipper, I honestly thought for once she was prettier than Barbie. I think it's neat that someone so young has so much knowledge about dolls and collecting. You and your Mom are so lucky that you both enjoy this fun hobby. When I talk to my Mom or Hubby about dolls they basically humor me by listening. It's not the same as really liking it, but I'll take it, ha. Thanks for sharing your collection with us.
Omg! You have a Mami chan. She's my favourite character from Puella Magi Madoka magica. Your room with The Doctors and the Pokemon dolls is amazing it's probably my favourite aspect. Your doll collection is extremly impressive, there's so many dolls there that bring back nostalgic memories.

One of my friends uses tuna fish cans, washed and spray painted to put the dolls on so that the back rows are higher. Its cheap and looks REALLY profesh

My collection of dolls r so different from yours, but that is the great thing abt doll collecting....everyone's interests and preferences can be different, and there r so many kinds of dolls out there. It took guts to display ur collection especially since its not all displayed the way u like. Thx so much for the vid--it was fun

Love your collection ! Woah you have so many beautiful dolls. You should make like stop motions and videos with them because you have so many you could do any thing with them xD
I've thought about stop motion, but it would just take too much time! I feel like with my paying job and blogging/vlogging, I already need an extra day in my week! :)
xD Yeah ! It must be hard doing so many videos and stuff when school and college is basically everyday :/ I wish we got more holidays tbh :)

Yayyyy I've been waiting for this video... At 2:28 what's the name of the doll wearing an orange dress on the left corner? And at 4:56 what's the name of the younger/smaller dolls! Thank you so much for the video.
2:28 is my newest Kurhn doll. I just reviewed her this month, so check out my channel to watch that review. She's a chinese fashion doll. :) At 4:56, you'll see some Chris' (the girl with blonde and/oxidized red hair) and a Todd from the Tutti line. Todd and Tutti are Barbie's siblings and Chris was their friend.
Can someone help me! There's a doll at 3:37 under the white top shelf in the right hand corner and it has a silver headband , its one of the bigger dolls. Does anyone know what that doll is. I have to have it. Please help thankyou.
charmy zazz I think you are talking about my Pullip Taeyang, the ninja looking doll right above Maudlynn (with the big eyes). I will need to look up the exact name of this Taeyang.
It's a Taeyang named Seiran.

My dolls are pretty much in that one room. When I have more walls of my own, I will totally be spreading them out. I like having a bit of my collection everywhere. :)

WOW! Very Impressive collection. I have to ask-have you ever sold any of your collection ever? Would you say most of your collection is new vs thrifted? I love the variety, its all very nice, Thank you for sharing & taking the time to comment on your collection.
Debbie Miller I haven't sold anything in my collection. My mentality is that if I think I will want to sell it, it's not worth picking up. In the same respect, items that were gifted to me that may not be my exact style, I keep because of the thought behind it. I have had no luck at thrift type stores. A good number of dolls did come from eBay or doll shows (half of my Skippers, at least), though. I think I have an even mix of new and thrifted.
Do you keep any kind of record or catalog to document your collection?
I keep a list of my Skippers, but not much else. I really do need to start a list for MH and EAH. There's just too many of them to remember now!

Do you mean the tall female doll or the shorter male doll? The tall female doll is a Mel Odom 'Gene' doll. The short boy is a Taeyang.

Kylie F, I don't have any reborns or journey girls.
You know, I had a similar problem with my 1:6 dolls and space. I had DH split a shelf in half lengthwise, and used this as a riser--putting it on blocks. You can see what I mean here: flic.kr/p/arkt8u (I use the Billy shelving system from IKEA, so it was easy to get extra shelving--in fact, I had extra shelving I wasn't using.)
