You are correct, this car is very particular about everything, treat it well and it will last. I installed a set of Flowmaster Performance mufflers and it sounds very aggressive, but not to loud. This is the Best review for an Impala SS I have seen, as this specific model is becoming more of a rarity.

TwoSmack Ken me too! Love mine. Mines white with a black rims, black side mirrors and a dark tint all around. Think it might have a performance chip too or the limiter turned off cuz it goes almost to 7k rpms which is the max in the red zone. It’s fast haha
Im so paranoid of clicking from the dash, when i heard the turn signal clicking the first time, for a millisecond, i thought the worst. I own an LT with 300,000 miles and replaced all the actuators. Were they as big a problem with other impalas like this one?
Did you get it straight piped cuz it don’t sound like it is but if it’s not definitely get the straight pipe the startup is different and a little more power

@@michaelmohrle1773 Higher gears increase heat as the friction and work is being taken up by the transmission instead of the engine. That's why you don't use top gear going up hill

Anything over 100k is risky, 120k+ is guaranteed transmission failure unless is hasn’t failed already
