Please don’t change. There’s something that feels so personal and human with your channel that I’ve never found with ANY other cooking channel. Everything is always for fun but at the same time you’re trying your best just like the rest of us. Thank you for everything FutureCanoe! You’ve made us laugh and smile more than you know.
Your right when channels become successful the creators change like babish changing the name and showing his face destroyed the unique ness, Joshua stopped talking to us from cabinet or rarely dose it
Yeah it’s so relatable when loaded RUclipsrs make jokes about not making enough money on a RUclips paycheck. Can’t believe how much I can relate honestly.

We dont need to follow entire recipes because not everyone can find that ingredient due location and accesibilty is limited, you can substitute them with similar ingreidents. Missing one or two thing only have little effect, but missing too much will kill the recipe and become either half-assed or bad recipe.
Yeah, Canoe makes me remember what happens every time I try a completely alien recipe. Even chefs mess up sometimes. This guy doesn't edit his mistakes and pretends as if everything went fine. This is why I'm here.

Honestly you're my favorite channel. I was just talking to my wife about how you're in my top two youtubers that I'd love to meet, and I realized that the other was Josh Scherer from Mythical Kitchen. My question has to be what inspired you to start cooking like you do, all these serious cheffy dishes? My mom was a professional cook and I used to help her prep stuff all the time growing up so for me it's my place of comfort even though I've never done it for my primary job. Watching you is like a return to my childhood, sitting there while she went over basics with me... I miss her so much, thanks for being so real. It's like being with a real person while we cook.
Definitely, this is the only cooking channel that I can relate to, I like cooking but sometimes it does not always work out, missing ingredients, burning Sh''t, lack of fancy machines it's nice to see that those things do happen but they don't discourage you. I love your humour and I've learned a lot through your techniques and I also love that you are willing to try anything, looking forward to your next videos. Big ups to you dude!

That outro was so wholesome man. Keep doing your vids out of passion and you'll be around for a long time So glad your channel is growing, you deserve it!
An immersion blender, a torch, AND a ricer? Who are you and what have you done with FutureCanoe??? You can never go wrong with potatoes, especially when the budget is tight. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! 🎉🎂It's well deserved and I'm glad to be a part of this wholesomely toxic Community. As for my Q&A questions, what's your favorite color and if you have siblings, how many, how far apart were y'all born, and where are you in the lineup? My favorite color is midnight blue and I'm the 2nd oldest of 6 living kids and one that cancer stole from us in 2016. (6 girls, 1 boy) Except for me and my first baby sister, we're all 18 months apart. The gap between me and first baby sister was 6 years.
Congratulations 🎉 Canoe! You deserve it so much and you’ve become my favourite foodtuber in this past year. It’s been incredible watching your journey from fighting kitchen appliances to being able to cook. I hope to be a part of this great community and follow you, the Ligma fork and your radioactive chicken for a long time to come
this channel feels much less affected than other cooking channels. Him not having all the ingredients, recipes sometimes failing, presentation often not looking that great and no overly loud and fake sounding enthusiastic voiceovers, just some dry humour and a very sarcastic viewership, all of it just comes together in a way that I appreciate
Congratulations on reaching 1 million subscribers 🎉! You truly deserve it. I've been following you since your first RUclips video came out, and I genuinely appreciate your honest and enjoyable cooking content. There aren't many creators on this platform who offer both funny and honest cooking videos. Your imperfections make your videos relatable, and I hope you continue being authentic. Keep up the fantastic work! 🙂
I've watched nearly every video on your channel and I want to tell you how inspiring I find it that you persevere at recipes you don't have the equipment or ingredients for! I find your willingness to hand-whisk things or in general just put in the elbow grease it takes to make something without a kitchen aid super admirable and it's made me resolve to do the same, because so often I skip recipes I would like to make just because I don't have the right tools for it. thanks for making videos that inspire people to cook. you totally deserve the 1M!
For Q&A: What inspired you to create this channel? Has living in NYC affected the way you view cooking and food? I really enjoy cooking so I feel like living in such a diverse area would really fuel me to learn about a much larger variety of dishes than what I'm used to and grew up with.
Congratulations on 1 million 🎉 I kind of want to send you a gumbo recipe I learned from my grandma, but it’s never been written down and it’s a lot of “well this feels right” kind of thing. Question! What made you decide to start a cooking channel? I don’t have a cooking channel and I don’t think people would want to see me bastardize everything by making it spicy.
Hey future, congrats on the one million. Was about time honestly, your videos are just so down to earth and super relaxing. It’s just so comforting to watch a futurecanoe video and simultaneously learning something about cooking and having a laugh while also being in shock about what you‘ve done. My question for you is: what got you into cooking and when did you actually start (I would say properly but that would insult cooking) cooking ? For me it was my grandpa who made an sweet unbelievably fluffy omelette for me as a child. i hope you keep doing videos for a long time so keep up the good stuff 🙏🏼🫶🏼
fell in love with your content since i first saw you on tiktok. you just had a handful of followers, was still a line cook, and was making simple dumpling recipes. glad to see you come this far, and wish you the best for an even more prosperous future.
Please never show your face. And for the love of anything you hold holy, NEVER change. This is my favorite cooking show, and dare I say the best cooking show I've ever seen. I love to cook, but I don't have fancy gadgets, or sometimes the best ingredients, and I cannot relate to a content creator more. The love of food and culinary exploration that I experience trying new things on the fly, F*cking it up BAD, and then trying to find ways to save it, all laid out here with a genuinely funny man is the most entertaining thing I have ever watched. Like I said, never change. FOR THE Q&A: What is your proudest culinary creation? Like something you put together all in your own head without any guidance, just inspired by the ingredients you have and the want to try something new. Mine is my gochujang Korean tacos. Pork shoulder, pressure cooked until able to be pull apart. Shred meat, and in a sauce pot heat up a mix of hoisin, a dash of liquid smoke, sweet Thai chili sauce, and as much gochujang as you like. Mix warmed and blended sauce with pork. In another bowl, mix a bag of slaw mix with lime juice, and rice wine vinegar. Chop cilantro and Jalapeno and mix with slaw mix. Let it all chill for about an hour or so. Then when ready to plate, make a pan super-hot and warm your tortilla, then slap in the pork and make sure it doesn't stick, but caramelizes the sauce. Then place pork in the tortilla, add helping of slaw mix, and top with queso fresco. The sweet/spicy/funky/smokey/salty pork with the bright and acidic slaw with the creamy queso fresco helping them blend is my go-to dish when I want to make home tacos. Plus who doesn't love caramelized crispy pork in all of its forms. Thanks man, hope you read this, and keep being you!
I made the ultimate roast potatoes (#5 7:00) for christmas dinner yesterday. Everybody, including myself, were blown away by how good they are! I didn't get quite the crunch that you had, but that's on me for re-oiling them between the intervals (totally unnecessary), and filling up the sheet too much (restricting air convection). I haven't figured out how to balance the butter pieces on the potatoes for that extra crispiness, any tips? Again, even with those mistakes they still turned out amazing, goes to show how solid of a recipe this is.
hmm, i'd say that put it on the flat side of the potatoes? so have the potatoes lie on their curved side...it also seems like either the potatoes were allowed to cool a bit, or that he had really cold butter, so that it doesnt melt immediately? i dont cook tho so 🙏ik this comment is hella late
Congratulations on reaching 1 million subscribers! 🎉🎉🎊 I remember subscribing to you at 53K, and since then, you have consistently brought a smile to my face after a long day of work. It's amazing to see that even with 1 mil subs, your videos haven't changed, and I love that. Watching you through the screen still feels personal to me. When the food looks good, I feel proud of you, and your humor never fails to give us all a good laugh and a smile. So, thank you for creating those enjoyable moments. For the Q&A: Who inspires you for cooking, and what was the first dish you ever made? Also, could you share your age at that time? For me: I watched my father cooking while growing up, and he inspired me to cook. My first dish was Butter Chicken Maggi (not an authentic dish; Maggi is an instant noodle famous in India, and I tried tossing it in a butter chicken sauce). It turned out decent, and I attempted this dish at 12 years of age.
Congratulations on 1 Million FutureCanoe! For the Q&A: If you could eat one food or dish for the rest of your life what would you pick? For me it would be Quesabirria Tacos.
Bro is making life a lil better, found his channel when ive none to share smile with, hitting the bottom of my life,hustling..his vids giving me hugsss❤ Alright, thank you!
So proud of your growth and being along for the journey. What sets you apart from everyone else is your authenticity and how genuine you are. It’s really appreciated in the community, never ever change that about yourself. Subscriber for life dude. As for the question, what was your all time favorite meal to eat as a kid like if you ate it today it would teleport you back in time like the guy from ratatouille? My answer was and honestly still is, my grandmas green chili burritos, they are so flavorful and the salsa the meat cooks in gets perfectly thick with the shredded beef or pork (depending on the mood), topped with some el pato hot sauce. Definitely a nostalgia meal for me.
The candied yams were a nightmare to witness. I don't know where you got that recipe, and I never want to know either. Most of the recipes in this video were good though! I have been obsessed with Smash potatoes since the pandemic started. Congrats on 1 million 👏🏾
such a cutie patootie saying "alright, thankyou"❤ congratulations on 1M🎉 and I'm not leaving your side so bare with me. For the QnA thingi: what is your comfort meal? for me its Dal Chawal. Canoe, watching your videos always feels like coming home. There's something genuinely authentic and real about this channel that makes it stand out. It's not just content; it's a comforting place where you can truly connect and feel a sense of belonging. Thank you for creating such a warm and inviting space through your genuine and relatable content💕
Why do I love this so much like the mini parts that are from songs, the calm voice that doesn’t sound like he reacts to much bad things like his spicy ramen vid he just sounded chill from all of the heat and spice from the noodles I love this youtuber
It's so awesome to see you at one million subs. It's been wild seeing how quick this channel has grown throughout the year, but you absolutely deserve all of the success. Keep up the great work and please never change too much! Q&A: You seem to know a lot of great places throughout the city, but what is one restaurant in NYC that you believe that everyone who is visiting should try to experience at least once? I've only been to NY once, but my favorite food experience from my time there last year was probably having an early dinner at the restaurant that is on the top floor of the Met Museum and overlooks part of Central Park. The food wasn't anything too crazy, but the location of the restaurant made it very memorable for me.
Potatoes really do things to me. Mainly, they make me fatter, but they're also so irresistibly delicious. Congratulations on the 1 mil! You're so comforting to watch and it's a lot of fun making the dishes you try. The apple pie you tried was probably the most delicious crust I've ever had and I plan to try it for other pie recipes in the future. I was trying to think of a question. Is there any food related family memory that sticks in your head most for some strange reason? Mine was Thanksgiving many, many years ago where my mom had made this cream cheese pizza dip and one of our cousins ate the whole pan himself.
I'm the south we bake candied yams in a pan. You can also use less sugar and add cinnamon and nutmeg. i usually mix the spices with the sugar and butter and add a little corn starch to thicken the sauce instead of reducing it. Let bake for at least 45 min or until the potatoes are fork tender.
I like you and this channel just the way you are. Your videos are comforting to me in a world where most videos try to be as loud and flashy as they can possibly can be. Thank you.
Definitely don't change. Your content is so refreshing and original. I usually watch either cooking videos or funny ones, now I can do both and it's exciting. Sometimes when I feel down I go to your channel watch some videos and then I'm good. You're hilarious. There's something so comfortable about your humor. It's easy, straight forward and relatable. Idk it just works. Congrats on the 1M! Totally deserve it. Btw, fave midnight snack: Samyang original (the black one) add fried garlic, tbsp honey, and some cheese.
omg he hit 1 milli! im happy you totally deserve it, all your videos are so relatable and anyone who lives alone and cooks at home can understand the struggle! honestly the recipes you do are not easy usually but you do a great job congrats!!
Piece of advice for the gnocchi: you did all good imo, maybe next time cut them smaller so that it's easier to eat and puff-up less during cooking. In Italy I prefer them baked like my granny did them: what you would do is prepare some tomato sauce in advance, preferibly smooth and without big chunks, and also cut some small cheese cubes of whatever cheese you like most. If you have a small receptacle you can make individual portions and it's cuter, but the same process applies for bigger baking trays; 1st layer tomato, boiled gnocchi (pick them little before than you would like), tomato, cheese. Rinse and repeat till you finished gnocchi and cover all with some parmesan. Bake at 180-200°C for around 10-20mins. Enjoy and let me know 🤷🏻♂️. Great job btw
Q&A: When did you first find ur interest in cooking, basically what inspired you to make food related content? My answer: For me, it was when I was about 8 years old, and watching my mom cook many delicious food also inspired me. I also loved watching cooking videos on tv and on yt, that’s why till this day I love watching people cook and love trying out new things my self. So in a way I relate and enjoy your content very much, and also congrats on 1 mil! :)
Congrats on the 1mill, absolutely deserved it! Also please don't change! I consider you my true go-to cooking channel because of how down-to-earth you are...using improvised stuff because honestly searching for that ONE PERFECT PIECE OF INGREDIENT is a hassle (especially when cooking for one) so getting suggestions for alternatives is great, sometimes messing up a bit the cooking process but still fixing things up, more often than not having simple steps to follow...I feel like when I look at your videos I actually feel like cooking alongside you and following the recipe, rather than trying to make sense out of some virtuoso's rambling like Joshua, Babish, Ramsay or whatever....and that is even without putting into the equation your dry humor and the relaxing tone of voice. Keep being yourself without overthinking, for that's why we're here. To quote your catchphrase, "Alright, thank you"
Dude your content is having me try out new recipes in a fun and relaxed way-the relatability and the fact that fails are included make your videos so entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I love the in-depth descriptions/reviews you give about food as well If you change, that’s alright. If you don’t, that’s wonderful. Anything is perfectly okay as long as you’re happy with it ♡(•ᴗ•) Q&A - what is a favorite dish that you’ve made? (Can be from this channel or something you made without the camera rolling) My answer: I really like making inarizushi (yubuchobab in Korean) whenever I feel down because it reminds me of my late grandmother. It’s a nice comfort food for me as it brings back all the nostalgia from being at her house and eating her cooking. What about you? It doesn’t necessarily need to have any deep meaning-it can just be something you’re impressed with or a comfort food. (Apologies for any grammatical errors)
something about this video is so demonstrative like he's so serious about this it seems like he just really wanted to try out good potato recipes you know
I found your channel quite recently when I was looking for some ramen recipes. Did the hot oil one - very good! I actually enjoy watching your cooking content because the simplicity calms me, your voice is also calming even though I need to laugh sometimes :). On the simplicity: that's what annoys me too much with most other cooking channels - they're just too perfect. You are just the average chef who works with what he has got, just like all of us at home. Please keep up the good work and be proud of those 1mio - you surely deserve it! Ps: since I binge-watched all of your videos (except the very meaty ones (vegetarian here)) last weekend, I told my students and friends about you, haha.
hi, man. lately, it's been hard for me. i'm so grateful that i found your vids. thanks for cheering up my day :))) it means a lot. cheers from indonesia ✌️
Congratulations on 1 million! This video is actually perfect timing because I have a couple potatoes that are probably going bad soon and I'm about to go out of town. I'm surprised how simple some of the recipes were, and I definitely have (many of) the ingredients.
Despite the jokes, this is probably one of the most wholesome cooking channels I've ever seen. Fucking love watching you just be a normal ass person trying your best to make shit, keep going even when you fuck up, then still eat whatever and give an honest review about what you ate. Everyone else just eats their food and talks about how great it is, but nah, you'll eat awful shit and be like "that was bad", then eat some more because you're poor like the rest of us and can't just waste food.
congrats on the 1 mil totally deserved! for the Q & A: how was cooking/food involved throughout ur life and has it changed since the beginning? My answer: i always hated cooking because my taste buds are kinda wack and there is so much time consumed prepping, but as i continue to watch content creators such as yourself it's given me motivation to try again with a new perspective!
Congratulations on 1 mil. I just got back into cooking and a cooking channel that just goes for it like i would rather than having the most instagram worthy shot for every dish is just what i needed. Question whats your favorite ingredient to experiment with? For me I've found myself putting chocolate and cinnamon in a lot of dishes they probably don't belong to a strangely high success rate.
I don’t even cook because of my busy schedule but I just watch your videos for fun.. and also your voice is so relaxing that I sometimes watch your videos before I sleep so I can nod off.. I tend to overthink a lot so I need something to distract me for me to fall asleep.. if you make any kind of video even not cooking related I would watch it..
That surprise ricer reveal! You're the personification of "never let them know your next move". Congrats on 1M subs! 🎉 My Q&A question is, what is your favourite childhood meal, something that makes you feel nostalgic? For me, it's a stew my grandma always made with a root vegetable apparently called "rutabaga" in English. Nobody in our family has even attempted making it because we know it'll never be as good as hers 😅 EDIT: Just saw this question has been asked a lot and lots of grandmas have been mentioned. I'll change my question to: Do you prefer cooking or baking and do you prefer eating cooked or baked goods? Me, I prefer the act of cooking, because you get to freestyle more and it's less stressful. But I love eating baked goods and I'd live exclusively off of cake if I had to :)
Congrats on 1M FutureCanoe, it has been a real treat to watch your channel grow since discovering you back in the spring. You deserve every bit of your success, I hope you give yourself a chance to soak it all in :) Q&A: One of my very favorite of your videos is your first, telling the story about Mujadara. Not only was the making and review of the food very captivating, but as a Christian myself, learning the role this specific dish played in salvation history was absolutely fascinating, and you told it in what would become classic, hilarious FutureCanoe fashion. My question is, are you religious, yourself? And do you think you would ever do another video making and reviewing a biblical dish? Thanks for everything you do!
Congrats on 1 million-- it's so deserved, your videos are so funny and relatable! For my question, are there any meals that you cook for yourself again and again? My mom always made this Fruited Chicken Curry for me because it was my very favorite meal, and I still enjoy cooking it for myself over and over as an adult.
Congratulations on the 1M! You really deserved it. I tell my friends about this channel constantly and even send them links to your videos. I haven't been a subscriber for super long but I've pretty much watched everything already since I found this channel. So it also makes me happy and kind of proud to have witnessed (and continue witnessing) your growth as a content creator! For the question, if you could choose only ONE cuisine (aside from your native one) to learn and cook for the rest of your life, what would it be? For me, it would probably be Korean *or* Mexican! Also not really a question but I'd love to see you recreate some of Shiadanni's Glam Kitchen recipes! alright, thank u
been here since you had 2-3k subs. i dont comment much so you dont know me probably but i always watch everything you upload. ive literally watched everyvid until this point more than twice haha. love u congrats
Congrats on 1 million subs!! You deserve them and so many more, I always look forward to coming home from work and seeing a new video! 🖤✨ Q: what's your most nostalgic food related memory from growing up? :3 Mine is going to my grandma's house after school and she would make us sandwiches with just white bread, ham, ketchup, and mustard. It sounds vile and I hate mustard but it meant so much to me that she always had them ready when we got off the bus that I always looked forward to it. She also had these adorable matching plates & place mats for every holiday and a gorgeous blackberry bush we used to pick blackberries off.
Congratulations on 1 Million subs, Future Canoe! 🎉 You definitely deserve it. I remember finding you on TikTok and since then, I haven't missed any of your videos up to this day. For my question, what's your favorite dessert that you won't get tired eating for the rest of your life? Mine is triple -layered chocolate cake! No one in my family actually likes chocolate so it's kind of hard for me to get them but I still love them every time I get to eat them.
13:53 "I'm just going to say it, it looks like throw up"; priceless after his perfect mélange of ingredients… there is too much to mention in this video, this guy is a talented cook and comedy gold at the same time.
Congratz on the 1 Mil! I hope stuff stays the same too, we got a cozy community here. :) For the Q&A: What was the first dish that you ever cooked/inspired you to try cooking for yourself? For me it was tortellini with fried ham and a cream-cheese sauce, you can almost feel your heart exploding while eating it but I highly recommend it! Feel free to hit me up if you ever want the recipe for a video or something. :)
Hey FutureCanoe, congrats on reaching 1 million subscribers!! I was actually pretty curious on where most of your skills in cooking came from? I notice your knife skills are better than the average person, and you know quite a bit about chemistry in cooking and baking. Was this previously learned or did you research and teach yourself these things? Unfortunately this isn't a question I can answer myself, since I hold almost no skills for either of those, but with your videos I'm thinking of following the recipes you do. I enjoy how much you show the real side of cooking, it's better knowing that I'm not the only one creating abominations in the kitchen lol.
I'm just glad the algorithm suggested your channel to me one day, as you've become a daily must-watch. I remember in one video you mentioned that you were let go from your first job because of the way you speak, which is just ridiculous. I know someone who speaks in almost the same way, and personally, I find it endearing. On another video, I left a comment saying that what I love most about your style of cooking is that it's not perfect. You don't have all the (sometimes) bullshit ingredients around the house. You sometimes screw up, and it just makes you so relatable. Deadpan humor, but you take the cooking seriously. Thank you! As for the Q&A - are there dishes that you can churn out in your sleep? For me, it's chili con carne. It's also one of the first recipes I learned how to cook for myself as an adult, and that I could prepare in advance for several days, just making fresh rice or noodles to go with it.
First of all huge congratulations. Hitting 1 million is huge and I’m literally so proud. Now my question: If you were a chair what kind of chair would you be and why? I personally would be the ikea GUNDE white folding chair
Yaaaay congrats Canoe you've earned it man, pls never change your personality is what makes this channel so special and personable My Q&A is... Would you ever try making Egyptian dishes? I guess it's more a request than a dish 😅 but it'd be awesome to see you experience making middle east dishes in general (. I recommend Mahshi and Koshary ) , oh and pls pls don't add gochujang to it like you did with Shakshuka 🤣
I hope this channel stays this way forever, with maybe additional kitchen tools further down the line if desired? My question is, whats your most nostalgic childhood comfort food? For me it's leftover rice in tomato soup with a fried egg and some grated cheese on top. Bit weird, I know but I really like the texture and flavour combos
The sugar in the potato mochi things actually does help you with browning. It's the combination of the cornstarch and sugar that makes the browning so much better. If you left it out it wouldn't get quite as brown and crispy.

I couldn’t remember the channel name and wanted to pull this video up so I typed “potato recipes ligma fork” and this was the first result
LMAO
Lmao. just tried with only ligna fork and it worked.
That outro was so wholesome man. Keep doing your vids out of passion and you'll be around for a long time
So glad your channel is growing, you deserve it!
ikr, bro has us all teary eyed in the comment section right now
An immersion blender, a torch, AND a ricer?
😂
Damn. Bro lore dumping
Bro gave us his life story 💀
This is such a sweet comment, I'm sorry about your sibling 💞
not to mention the bench scraper, it feels like our boy is becoming a man
Congratulations on 1 mil, you deserve it🎉. You're literally the only absolutely realistic food channel on all platforms.
..
99% sure this guy is actually a professional chef, but the low end RUclips is just his vibe.
Thank you FutureCanoe. You weirdly gave me the courage to cook dishes for myself without worrying too much about the recipe.
1:36 "we make quick quick dipping sauce which has bisdfhbseiydfvsihfbiw kewpie mayo" man rapping in the middle of giving instruction
The gibberish actually is “I gave a second chance to kewpie mayo” and that’s fucking hilarious 😂😂😂
It's a reference to I gave a second chance to cupid
Bro its *Igiveasecondchancetokewpiemayo
Igaveasecondchancetokewpie mayo
I read that at the EXACT moment he said it
For Q&A: What inspired you to create this channel? Has living in NYC affected the way you view cooking and food? I really enjoy cooking so I feel like living in such a diverse area would really fuel me to learn about a much larger variety of dishes than what I'm used to and grew up with.
Congratulations on 1 million 🎉
I kind of want to send you a gumbo recipe I learned from my grandma, but it’s never been written down and it’s a lot of “well this feels right” kind of thing.
Question! What made you decide to start a cooking channel?
I don’t have a cooking channel and I don’t think people would want to see me bastardize everything by making it spicy.
do it!!!!! ill watch ur videos
Congratulations on 1 M!!! You can never go wrong with potatoes 🥔
Congratulations on 1 Million FutureCanoe!
For the Q&A:
If you could eat one food or dish for the rest of your life what would you pick?
For me it would be Quesabirria Tacos.
For me it would be pizza.
For me its anything that I can make fast
for me its anything which is thick black and has cream in it like donut
yall would die
@@user-zl2ie7yn5u it's worth it for pizza
I’m so late to this channel but it is quickly becoming my favourite on RUclips
Bro is making life a lil better, found his channel when ive none to share smile with, hitting the bottom of my life,hustling..his vids giving me hugsss❤
Alright,thank you!
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing
literally, i almost cried watching them be butchered
such a cutie patootie saying "alright, thankyou"❤ congratulations on 1M🎉 and I'm not leaving your side so bare with me.
Why do I love this so much like the mini parts that are from songs, the calm voice that doesn’t sound like he reacts to much bad things like his spicy ramen vid he just sounded chill from all of the heat and spice from the noodles I love this youtuber
by far the best cooking show!
exactly as you are!
Real, human & no BS
0:25 why is bro so adorable
Like a 👶
Potatoes really do things to me.
Congratulations on 1 mil, well deserved my guy!!!!!
I. LOVE. THIS. CHANNEL! These videos are seriously funny, wholesome and just plain fun!!! Congrats on 1 MILLION bro!!! WELL DESERVED!!!
I sit thru all the ads so Canoe can afford that caviar.
This is literally the perfect video for me to watch and relax right now. It’s funny, lengthy, and involves potatoes.
Definitely earned the 1M I always look forward to a new video drop from this channel. Thanks for everything
omg he hit 1 milli! im happy you totally deserve it, all your videos are so relatable and anyone who lives alone and cooks at home can understand the struggle! honestly the recipes you do are not easy usually but you do a great job congrats!!
Great job btw
will nona approve or is it a wooden spoon hit?
@@RazorRamonMachismo It flies under Nonna's radar. But maybe don't play your chances too often or the wooden hit will spoon you
Q&A: When did you first find ur interest in cooking, basically what inspired you to make food related content?
I love the in-depth descriptions/reviews you give about food as well
If you change, that’s alright. If you don’t, that’s wonderful. Anything is perfectly okay as long as you’re happy with it ♡(•ᴗ•)
Q&A - what is a favorite dish that you’ve made? (Can be from this channel or something you made without the camera rolling)
My answer: I really like making inarizushi (yubuchobab in Korean) whenever I feel down because it reminds me of my late grandmother. It’s a nice comfort food for me as it brings back all the nostalgia from being at her house and eating her cooking. What about you? It doesn’t necessarily need to have any deep meaning-it can just be something you’re impressed with or a comfort food.
(Apologies for any grammatical errors)
Congratulations on the 1M!!! It's so refreshing and super fun to watch your videos. I am happy to be a part of your journey.
congrats on the 1M you deserve it
your narration is always funny, and the imperfection/candid-ness of the cooking makes it relatable
something about this video is so demonstrative like he's so serious about this it seems like he just really wanted to try out good potato recipes you know
congrats on 1 mill!! I love how realistic/genuine you are ❤
Dude I love this channel and I’m so happy it’s growing constantly. You deserve it. Don’t change. ❤
I’m so glad all the comments are so sweet because he genuinely deserves them.
hi, man. lately, it's been hard for me. i'm so grateful that i found your vids. thanks for cheering up my day :))) it means a lot. cheers from indonesia ✌️
It’s CRAAAZZYY how much this community has grown. Never change please!!
What I like about futurecanoe is the good cooking plus the humour.Man it never get s old
cant think of another food RUclipsr that deserves the success more than you. Keep it up man you're awesome ❤
Congratulations on 1 mil! Few deserve it more than you, you earned it 💪
Congratulations on 1 mil.
I plan to start getting into cooking after I finish my exams
Congratulations and thank you for making such chill and realistic videos with a lot of dry humor.
That surprise ricer reveal! You're the personification of "never let them know your next move". Congrats on 1M subs! 🎉
My Q&A question is, what is your favourite childhood meal, something that makes you feel nostalgic? For me, it's a stew my grandma always made with a root vegetable apparently called "rutabaga" in English. Nobody in our family has even attempted making it because we know it'll never be as good as hers 😅
EDIT: Just saw this question has been asked a lot and lots of grandmas have been mentioned.
I'll change my question to: Do you prefer cooking or baking and do you prefer eating cooked or baked goods?
Me, I prefer the act of cooking, because you get to freestyle more and it's less stressful. But I love eating baked goods and I'd live exclusively off of cake if I had to :)
his chopping at 12:38 😫 oh mah lordy lord....
Congrats on 1M FutureCanoe, it has been a real treat to watch your channel grow since discovering you back in the spring. You deserve every bit of your success, I hope you give yourself a chance to soak it all in :)
Q&A: One of my very favorite of your videos is your first, telling the story about Mujadara.
I love how you have a ricer, immersion blender and a mandolin, and you never let anything cool down.
Mine is going to my grandma's house after school and she would make us sandwiches with just white bread, ham, ketchup, and mustard. It sounds vile and I hate mustard but it meant so much to me that she always had them ready when we got off the bus that I always looked forward to it. She also had these adorable matching plates & place mats for every holiday and a gorgeous blackberry bush we used to pick blackberries off.
Real talk, your knife skills are criminality underrated.
Congratulatoin om the 1 million subscribers, please dont change anything cause we love you channel
Nice Job Team 😀
11:25 Bro making videos for his 1M subscribers in his underwear 😭😭😭😭
Congratulations on 1 Million subs, Future Canoe! 🎉 You definitely deserve it. I remember finding you on TikTok and since then, I haven't missed any of your videos up to this day.
For my question, what's your favorite dessert that you won't get tired eating for the rest of your life?
Mine is triple -layered chocolate cake! No one in my family actually likes chocolate so it's kind of hard for me to get them but I still love them every time I get to eat them.
honestly 90% of the time i watch your videos after work before bed and its just a nice chill way to unwind at the end of the day.
13:53 "I'm just going to say it, it looks like throw up"; priceless after his perfect mélange of ingredients… there is too much to mention in this video, this guy is a talented cook and comedy gold at the same time.
im inspired to cook more because of how casual you are with it. congrats on 1M
Congratz on the 1 Mil! I hope stuff stays the same too, we got a cozy community here. :)
For the Q&A:
What was the first dish that you ever cooked/inspired you to try cooking for yourself?
Now my question:
If you were a chair what kind of chair would you be and why?
I personally would be the ikea GUNDE white folding chair
Yaaaay congrats Canoe you've earned it man, pls never change your personality is what makes this channel so special and personable
My Q&A is...
I remember subbing at 80k laughing my ass off on how relatable his cooking experience is and his edits. 1M well deserved 🎉🎉
I am not crying, it's the onions... Congratulations you deserve all the good things coming your way 🎉
For Q&A: What's been your most rewarding moment on RUclips so far? AND CONGRATS ON 1M SUBS ILY
Congratulations on 1M! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 This channel is the only thing that makes me feel like I'm a better cook so hope you keep this up!
2:45 a third of a cup of WHAT?
"Corn Star" 🌽 🌟 😅😂
He be doing it for a long time, I'm just curious how ppl didn't notice
11:07 HUH?
The subtitles....
10:22 you can actually hear him take damage from eating the yams
This channel is literally my favorite
You 100% deserve the 1mil you’re so genuine and funny, I love your videos and I hope you never stop making them!!
The sugar in the potato mochi things actually does help you with browning. It's the combination of the cornstarch and sugar that makes the browning so much better. If you left it out it wouldn't get quite as brown and crispy.
