Great video, thanks guys!! I'd love to see a regen braking performance overview for this build, or with other controllers on various bikes!! You used some battery getting up that trail... I'd love to know how much you could get back by using as much regen braking as possible on the way back down!
If you used regen the entire way down you would hardly gain any battery. Maybe 1.5 volts it’s mainly used for a brake

I just found your channel and love it. I'm in Bountiful. So seeing you guys rip the roads & mountains I've been on a 1,000x is way cool. Been reaaaally kicking the can on getting a Ebike. Going to be a minute though, wrecked my road bike 3 weeks ago off of 4th N and 89. Pretty bad wreck. I've got a road to recovery and medical debt before I can get on a bike and rip again.

Cant tell you guys how much ive been waiting for someone to put out this video! You guys are realy amazing! Did you guys see the new chi batteries for the eride pro ss came out? They are crazy, 1 of them is rated for 22kw continuous and 38kw , and the other is Rated for 30kw of continuous discharge with a peak over 40kw baby! And they only work with this controller! 1 is 60ah witch is insane with that power!! Are you guys going to be reviewing these monster batteries? Thanks for the awesome content!

Hey can you guys go over as much surron parts as you can that fit the e ride. Like key ignition plate or carbon fiber parts or battery lids. Also Luna float seat and other surron upgrades

It’s hard to tell what’s completely compatible. Seat, and battery lid don’t fit

Can you guys do a side by side battery test with a factory bike compared to the more powerful controller please?
We may at some point but it really just depends on how you ride it, if your riding them the same speed in a test they won't be any different. If you pull full throttle a lot on the more powerful bike then yes it drains faster! We feel it didn't make much difference though

Thanks for the video, buddy. I appreciate it anyway you think too. Make it more battery efficient rather than just driving an eco-mode. Also why get a new sprocket for the snappiness if you could just lower the phase amps
We could always lower but gearing the bike down a little just lowers the motors rpm’s at any given time and that adds efficiency when going faster. It also helps to smooth out the throttle with the added power and torque. At the end of the day the E ride motor is a low Kv motor so has lots of torque and does better with small gearing. Some other motors are much higher Kv and do better with larger gearing and spinning faster.

id recommend getting a ton of plastic bags and label every group of bolts you take off. i dont know think we will do a full reassembly video

Have you OVERHEATED the motor? I had a Surron with BAC8000 15kw at 500 phase amps. It would over heat on hill climbs or aggressive single track. Can you try to overheat the E-ride with the X9?

Hey is it possible to add a regen throttle to the stock E-Ride Pro SS Controller, or maybe even increase regen % beyond mode 1 & 2 to give it stronger regen?

can you guys compare the TC500 and the X9000 controllers, mainly the differences in performance, ease of use, etc, im struggling to pick one for my bike running a stock battery but i will ugrade to a 72v in the future.

Is the e-ride pro’s motor going to be able to handle the extra Kw/PA’s(over time)the controller unlocks. I pretty sure it’s not an IPM motor like the MX4.
The E ride has a more name brand high end motor, it’s technically a QS165 v2 motor which you can google, the motor has a lot more potential than any other stock motor. There are still higher end motors but this one is very capable.
@@Talariaboys What about the 79 bike with the sotion motor? Shouldn't that push 20-28kw? Heard that the battery or BMS is limited so even with aftermarket controller you won't get much more than stock. Be cool if you guys could test that out though with your 79 bike.

The display has a ton of features and the app shows a lot of different things.
You will drain the battery faster if you actually use more power.
Why would anyone need to go that fast on a Talaria? Are they not all that fun as a stock bike?

What was the battery level on the stock eride vs the modified one when you both got to the top? Just wondering how much more battery it eats? Thx and now I have to get one of these. I just ride in the woods and no street.
We only rode the stock e ride for the drag race, alex rode an upgraded talaria xxx on the ride. We haven’t noticed much less range riding trails than before we’ve drained the battery 3 times now with the controlller.

Guys, if I get the EBMX, is it possible to activate a brake lever function for speed like the Surron has? So every time the bike is turned off, it resets the speed limit.

Try putting some sort of foam in front of the battery against the battery plate. Just wedge some in there

One idea would be to turn your field weakening up, but I'm not sure about the limit. just go up in small increments.

We only have experience with 17 inch supermoto tires. The ones we like are the Michelin City Extra

I just got my eride pro ss and I’ve been trying to wheelie it. Any chance you guys can make a wheelie tutorial for the eride?
Take any of their wheelie tutorials on a sting r or modded surron same shit. Don't be scared go find a large flat field go about 15-17kmh depending on weight and pin it. Try going at it like that to get the hang of smaller power wheelies and progress from there the slower you pin the throttle at the higher the wheel will come up.
Maybe another wheelie video in the future

@@Shawzo007 sounds like you're ready to incorporate braking into them disconnect your rear brake sensor from there its just learning the right amount of braking vs throttle input and you'll get it.

its really how fast ur going, ur weight, what terrain ur driving on and the wind that determines ur battery life
If you’re riding fast on the street that’s why… an hour of fast riding drains really fast, an hour of tight single track doesn’t use anywhere near as much battery and going downhill doesn’t either.
12:52 Why there are 84V?
A 72v battery when fully charged is actually 84v and when it is completely drained it is at 60v

People have been using Surron conversion kits. Just check that it’s actually compatible first

About the same unless you are going full throttle all the time with the extra power it would be a bit less.
Why does the 14kw surron from surronster go 70 and this one has 15kw so why only 60?
One reason being this has large heavy dirt tires and he has super motos, he also has an upgraded battery which does still make a big difference.

@@kaion1x his peak amps are capable of alot more my old battery for my stealth bomber with a qs263 was able to peak at 220-230 amps controller is the ecu, motor is obviously the motor and battery is essentially the transmission. They is always a restriction but for the money… controller is great can’t beat it.

I have a talaria x3 stock. How can I increase my top speed please? It's currently hitting 83km/h I would like to know if I can hit 90km/h
If you get an upgraded controller the bike goes 52-54 mph
Also you can get a smaller sprocket and a controller to reach 90km/h

The kit makes the bike 10 pounds heavier?
No the bike has lots of other aftermarket and upgraded parts on it, this controller makes the bike about 1lb heavier.

Because the new controller comes with a new display, the only one would only function as battery percentage so we didn’t want it on.

@@Talariaboysbut they won’t show me a picture of the ewatt/ebmx version. I’m afraid it won’t look the same they said a lot of the parts are the same but they can’t get them fast enough for the Ventus one version to sell more. The production is taking a long time.
