Sarah I feel your pain. Two seasons ago I averaged 220. Then last December I pulled the hell out of my bicep from muscling the ball too often and had to sit out the second half. I went down from 16 to 14 and since then I have literally been struggling just to stay consistent, in fact my average now is 181🤮 it's never been that low before. It also sounds like you have a sweating issue and performance anxiety. Just focus more on relaxing while bowling.
The house shot looks decent for a house with REALLY worn wood lanes! You can see the ridges on each individual board lol The shot definitely looks playable though

I can relate. During our 7th week league, the lane was so difficult that no team ever cheer at all. Everyone was pissed off.
I timed and averaged the wait time to throw a ball in the next frame in our 5-bowler handicap league. If there are two teams with 190+ averages the wait is 4 minutes 40 seconds. If either team has three sub-190 average bowlers the wait time is 5 minutes 30 seconds. The time you spend waiting as part of lane courtesy is significant. It’s a rare night when there are two good teams on one pair with good teams on either side of the pair. Next time you go and practice, do a 5 minute 30 second timeout between shots and see how well you do vs. practice pace.
Everyone has an off day, last Tuesday I had a 678 series. This Tuesday was 534. There's always tomorrow. 😊

That’s the reality check most bowlers need to let them know there’s still work to be done! Keep working Sarah!! Don’t know if it’s a goal of yours but I wanna see u out on tour!! Remember to find things in the struggling nights to learn from. We all can bowl amazing when we are matched up!
Nice bowling! What I'd say is to start your aim at the bottom of your swing. Slow your feet and your swing and save it all for the follow through. But at the same time just be you!
Sarah, I stand in same spot for 10 pins use same spot on lane, then if missing it to left, look farther down lane 3-6 inches 12 inches is extreme, and look closer if ball is going into gutter, bigger the miss, bigger move with eyes, I find I miss 10 and 7 pins more because of mechanics than being lined up, moving my eyes forward or back is my first and best adjustment works 95% or more of time, hope this helps you or you to help someone else, thank you for videos I enjoy watching

We all have League Nights like that, I swear every week I bowl my opponent becomes a pro that night, then the next week there so bad their Amateur Card is Revoked. It's hard, but Flush it and come back strong next week.

I hate to sound like the "keyboard coach" but it just seems like your timing is off a small amount and causing you to come around the side of the ball and then it does not allow to to hit the release. Giving you the over-under reaction at the pins. Just my 2 cents... thanks for the video vlog
I thought the same thing. Whenever I pull the ball its my timing.

As a 220+ avg here what these old guys wont tell ya is until you learn to to rev it more it will always be difficult on a house shot. That outside is brutal because most people play there.

Dont want to be that guy but try and work on your follow thru coming straight up and not cross your body. It may help.
First, absolutely playing too far left until Mr. Lizzi told you to get outside. You should not be fishing around with equipment this much on a house pattern. Put a benchmark piece in your hand and play 6-7-8 at the arrows and stand about 17. Pushaway should be a tad earlier on the second step. You seem to have shots that you have to pull down from the apex of the swing because your swing is a tad late. Make sure you push away the same every time on step two. You have to start the same to end the same. You need to use your legs more in your approach. At the release, you tend to pop up or really drop the right shoulder. Drive forward with the hips into your slide step. Wait for the ball and dont pull it through. Sorry for keyboard coach. It just what im seeing.
