      It was my first time visiting. Unfortunately it was a short stay but I saw enough to say I’m definitely coming back! Amazing place, beautiful scenery and very friendly people

    great video. Greetings from Luxembourg. Little fun fact the bridge you flew over on short final over the highway A1 to Germany is called "Fliegerbreck", meaning airplane bridge by locals here. And also the airport is known as Findel like the town where the airport is. So here if you go to the airport, you don't say, i'm saying going to the airport, but you go to Findel.

      Many thanks for the kind words and valuable information.
      We stayed in Finder due to the short nature of our stay and found it to be very beautiful. The people were so friendly, we wished we had more time to explore
      I think I’ll be coming back on my own time to enjoy your beautiful country

    Beautiful approach and amazing landing. Quick question, why do you keep moving the yoke on the ground?

    • @Skylineschannel
      @Skylineschannel  7 месяцев назад +3

      Many thanks! You know, I’ve caught myself doing that too and all I can put it down to is reacting to rudder inputs. We will generally stay away from the tiller until down to taxi speeds for directional control on the ground. The only aileron input on the ground should be for crosswinds…which there wasn’t much of on this day
      Good pick up though and thanks for the question

    Nice job ❤. Are those headsets alright? If they good for gaming can you hook me up with some 😂

      Cheers mate! Not too bad on the short to medium length flights but after 14 hours they get a bit uncomfortable. If you need a hookup let’s see if we can get @bose to sponsor the channel 😂😂

      The question I came to ask. I’m using the DCpro, same experience, great up to about 8-10 hrs.

      Thank you. Unfortunately we had a minimum rest turnaround so we didn’t get a chance to experience much of Luxembourg. From what I saw though, I think I’ll be making my own way back there at some point. Beautiful!

    What's the longest route you ever flew?

    • @Skylineschannel
      @Skylineschannel  7 месяцев назад +3

      Thanks for you question
      At the moment, due to Russian Airspace Restrictions, East Coast of China to Europe has a trip time of over 14 hours brakes off to brakes on again. It’s about as long as I’d want to fly with only 2 pilots and no crew rest accommodations 😅

      @ClTlZEN_X 7 месяцев назад +1

      @Skylineschannel G650 is capable of these distances? I assume the plane, regardless of its size, have the all necessary accommodations for long travel times.

    • @Skylineschannel
      @Skylineschannel  7 месяцев назад +3

      @CITIZEN_X Fair question!
      The G650ER has the capability. The ER, compared to a normal G650, has an extra 4,000lbs of fuel which equates to approximately 500NM in extra range
      The aircraft comes standard with a crew rest, however clients are given the option to have it removed and increase their space in the cabin. As you can imagine, a lot take up this option 😢😂

      If flying from Hong Kong to Brazil, do you usually refuel in the United States or in Europe? Is there a need to change pilots mid-flight? How many refueling stops are required? Do the replacement pilots travel with the same aircraft, or do they arrive at the changeover location in advance for the swap@@Skylineschannel

      @@Skylineschannel Is it possible to take a stroll during the 14-hour flight, or is it necessary to remain seated in the cockpit continuously? Will sitting for an extended period become too fatiguing?"
