The recording is unedited.. It had been restored from the audio tape, which initially was recorded for competitions with simple purpose - unedited. If you refer to the Op.10 no. 8, it might sound different as there was 1 year apart in between the two etudes. Studio was the same, piano the same but 1 year apart. So, it may sound different. But both etudes unedited. You have my word for it.
