Thanks for the video! Installed FydeOS 16 on my Ryzen 9 5900 Laptop and it runs! The appdrawer now is equal to Google's and you also can group the apps into folders naming them as desired. So instead of having the apps spread all over the place you can create a sleek system for an efficient workflow. Yet I must say I did prefer the former app drawer and you cannot change it nor customize it. Still it's enjoyable to work with once the app folders are created. Cudos to the FydeOS team! Having used FydeOS 15 before I was hoping they would give us a higher version of Android than version 9. Unfortunately that's not the case, version 16 of FydeOS still uses the Android 9 version. Other than that I only might have very minor complaints. For me it's the perfect environment to work and so being used to Android on the phone my brain loves the seemless workflow. Also, I created a dual boot system on my laptop using Zorin Linux as a second OS. Still sometimes Linux can be needed due to some few restrictions of the ChromeOS/Android universe. E.g. I could not find how to run an external BlueRay/DVD-burner-player, that only does work on Linux.
Thank you for your informative comment. I also noticed that they haven't updated Android yet. My 2021 Chromebook was already running Android11. Maybe the FydeOS team will pay attention to this)
Дивно...взагалі стабільна версія Chrome OS Flex не підтримує середу розробки linux. Я чітко читав про це на офіційному сайті та й у документації бачив. Хромбуки підтримуюь, але на них встановлено Chrome OS. Схоже Ви використовуєте якусь стару версію Chrome OS Flex. Вона колись підтримувала середу розробки linux.
Стосовно хромбуків погоджуюсь на 100 %. Адже сам мав хромбук і мав змогу активувати лінукс. Ну версія chrome os flex дійсно не сама свіжа, якщо я не помиляюся є вже 104 версія, а я використовував 103. Ради інтересу встановлю chrome os flex на вінчестер і спробую активувати Linux(звісно, якщо усе вийде). Якщо не складно скажіть будь ласка як ви потрапили на моє відео?)

I like fydeos, but if it's going to ask me to pay to continue, then I will just install the real ChromeOS, as fyde has no advantage over the real deal.

Basically. FydeOs is Linux based with Android subsystem on it while Chrome Os Flex is Android at Bare-metal and have option for Linux Subsystem on it.
