Anyone have issue with applications like psp emulator and steam games crashing your screen and making it glitched. To where you have to turn off pc with physical button ? Every other application like Spotify , discord and Firefox works perfectly fine , but anytime I try opening a video game type of application my screen crashes into glitchy?

I feel like at that point, you might as well just use a Linux distro since ChromeOs Flex doesn't offer android support but Linux you can set up WayDroid
Which linux distro should i use ? I installd chrome os flex cuz i have an old laptop . Is their any simple and good linux distro ? Which is light weight ?
is theres another way to have or install android apps in chromebook?? my chromebook can't install apps. no google play and even linux in setting please help"-"
just one question, why not just install a different distro? not only is chromeos the worst linux distro ever and even calling it a distro is taking linux name in vain even chromeos makes ubuntu seem like a good option instead install a good linux distro like arch or gentoo and I didn't even mention that literally any other linux distro (that's open source) respects your privacy and puts the user first unlike the globalists over at alphabet inc wanting to take over the world with mind control
As far as I understand you are a Linux user?) Of course, if we are talking about high speed opening linux apps, then it is better to choose a good distro and install it. But I showed how to activate Linux in Flex OS because it was the only option, maybe it will be useful to someone.
I am going to share you my experience, I have old Acer R3-131T Celeron laptop which have 256 GB SSD and 8 GB Ram on it, I have tested other Linux Distribution on it, but they are slow like: 1) I have installed Ubuntu on it. It was slow but was good enough to use, but after installing different list of softwares like Google Chrome, WPS Office, VLC the Ubuntu become hang and slow. 2) After testing Ubuntu, I switch to Lubuntu. It was fast, but the UI is old. Anyway, after installing different list of softwares on it, it becomes slow and started to hang. 3) After that experience I have installed Chrome OS Flex, the UI is quite modern compare to Lubuntu, it is working smooth. I have installed Linux application on it. The application booting time is slow but once the Linux application opens, it runs smooth without any hiccup. In the end, I believe Chrome OS Flex is ideal for the users which old PC/Laptop which unable to run other Linux distribution well.

Do you like Chrome OS Flex?

Yes it is soon smooth. But unfortunately there's no google play store
@@kavirudissanyake4571 That's true.
I think there is no reason to use it because you can just use any Linux distro
@@yehiazaglol6170 You are right, but not everyone is ready to install linux.
no there are tons of better linux distros out there that also respect your freedom and privacy there is absolutely no reason to use chromeos
only guide i've found for Linux apps on chromebook that truly tells me everything i need without having to look elsewhere. thanks!
Glad it helped!
