This is the first eye shadow palette that has truly caught my attention in years. I just received it today and I tried it for the first time, and I can say I am so in love!
I was on the fence, but I decided that this would be a great every day palette for me the way my Bobbi Brown "shimmering nudes" palette was... and that one is only 7 shades. I don't mind subtle. I have other palettes with many options. I do own Bare Necessities and Cold Stone Fox. I agree about the Makeup by Mario palette, but I understand that one is sold out. I kinda sorta collect the ND palettes (the ones that speak to me). I love the quality, the staying power, the ease of use. It's probably not a palette that's for everyone, but I'm happy I purchased it. 🥰🎨💖
Personally, I steer away from palettes that have too many deep, dark shadows. I just cannot wear them. I have small eyes and don't need to make them look smaller by using too much darkness around them. I'm not about to get this palette but I do like the looks of it. One dark shadow in a palette is plenty for me, lol Thanks for the video.
For me as a cool toned, light skinned girl, this is actually the first palette that I could talk myself in to from ND. All the others are too warm toned or like the glam, too grey. This isn't exactly cool toned either. The shimmers all seem to have a warm toned base. But it's definetly more neutral then any of her other palettes. On my skin ofcourse.
@@Mataylor17 I couldn't put my finger on why it looks like it would work for me for an everyday palette where other ND palettes just look garish to me and you have hit it on the head. This palette is desaturated and neutral, and this looks more user-friendly to me, as a cool toned, extremely fair skinned woman. Most of ND's palettes look way too bright for my coloring.
I have finally found my people! Natasha’s palettes are so beautiful, but every one of them that I have, I hate the way it looks on me. I want this palette so bad, but I was scared that it wouldn’t work for me. I hate super dark shades, and I wear makeup every day, so really dark shades don’t work for every day wear. I always see how beautiful her palettes look on everyone else and it drives me crazy. I may have to add this one to my collection.
I *do* have Going Coconuts and That's Taupe, and between those two I feel incredibly confident I can get similar looks 😊 The shade Slated from That's Taupe also gives that really beautiful wet sparkle look on me too! Thanks so much for the informative review as always, Emily! And for reminding us viewers to enjoy what we already have ❤
Emily said exactly what I feel about this release.I own most of Natsha Denona's eye shadow palettes and the "Dream' is my favorite! Thanks for an honest review!
This pallet is stunning! But $69.00, I just can't hardly swallow it! Thank you so much for giving us several options. Your makeup today is very pretty including your lippy!
Same. I love the way she shows other options even if not a dupe I have realized the looks will look a lot alike. An Elf 4 pan palette that I have will give me a close look and also a mini WnW palette also. 69.00 pays my water for a month. Lol

I just got mine yesterday and it is everything I’ve ever wanted in an eyeshadow palette. I’ve been so burned out on what other people have been releasing. For someone who only wears cool tones, it’s a dream come true.
I just got it today, and I love it!! It's so beautiful! I am thrilled to have it! Natasha Denona rarely lets me down, and I missed out on the Ethereal Eyes palette from Makeup by Mario, so that is another massive plus for me!
There are a few artists I turn to for a thorough review when I need to know the ins and outs of a product. Alicia Archer, Lauren Mae and you. I’ve watched their videos, and now with yours, I’ll have the trifecta! Excited to hear your thoughts! ❤ Forgot one artist who I discovered a few months ago…Julia Adams MUA. Her techniques and her approach to makeup is so refreshing and she really does a good job of following up on products that she reviews. But Emily, Alicia and Lauren I’ve watched for years at this point!
I splurged and bought this pallet ❤, I prefer light colored neutral colors. I really only need one brown color in a pallet and have fun with all the lighter colors.
Thanks for the reminder to shop the stashes before purchasing. I fell in love with this color story, but you reminded me that I probably already have most of these colors in other palettes. Thanks for saving me a sizable chunk of change! Now it's time to go play! 💖
I keep thinking I want a combination of Glam and My Dream....and just realized I can combine them by popping out the colors I don't use and put in the ones I do! Oh yes!!
I thought I needed this but I’ve created very similar looks to what you did today with my Stone Cold Fox palette, I wasn’t even thinking about the similarities to that, I was just comparing it to the ND Glam Palette ❤
Honestly I think this is a perfect hazel eye palette, with the peachy pinks and taupe colors. Surprisingly I’ve had a hard time finding a palette with more light shades than dark. I have fair skin and often the dark shades are very dark and not a day to day palette. But this palette keeps drawing my attention. Not sure if I’ll buy it yet. I’m hoping Sephora will have it in store so I can look in person.
I am very happy with my palette and it is easy to pair with any other Natasha’s shadows - for fabulous creative variety. You are correct that her shadows have staying power, which is a must❤️
This look is by far the most stunning look on you! The colors bring out all of your gorgeous facial features all at once. Bravo Emily Rose!!! I’ll say it again…Stunning!!💗
I just got this palette on the mail and cannot wait to play with it! I like Natasha’s formulas, but I’m still waiting for a neutral palette with a hint of warm tones on a midi, not as cool as the glam one and not as warm as the bronze one, and not as dark as my dream one 🤭🤷🏻♀️. Amazing review as always, Emily!
I LOVE your honesty Em! I have been enjoying your videos for years & I always feel that I can trust you for a perfectly honest opinion. Thank you for all you do!!! Xo's
Great review! I have Natasha Denona Glam & Retro Palettes, lots of overlap with the “Nude” palette. You offered some great “other brand” options! BTW, LOVED the family voiceover video…sooo cute!!
Thanks for this review! I do have Going Coconuts and I need to get it back out and try it again. At the very least, this convinced me to wait a while before committing to a pricey palette!
This palette is my perfect palette! I don't wear dark eyeshadow. I like light simple eye looks with glitter and shine! So I will definitely be getting it when I can actually afford to!
Youre my go to person for product reviews. You do such an amazing job and cover everything. I wasnt even going to buy this palette, but just love watching your reviews 🤣❤️
I just got my ND I Need a Nude palette and I am so happy to see how similar it is to Going Coconuts. I have over 100 palettes and my only back up is Going Coconuts! ❤
I feel like almost all ND palettes tend to have only one truly dark shade, and that diminishes my overall satisfaction with a palette. I always appreciate more variety in that regard. Love the look and I do think the palette is stunning!
I feel like glam and nude are older sister little sister palettes. I love all of these shades and yes of course nobody needs another neutral palette. Neutrals are like the goldilocks and 3 bears of the makeup world and this one is jus right for me.🤩😍
In case you are interested, a squeaky door can be "fixed" by spraying some "Pam" (spray cooking oil, NO flour formula) right onto the door hinges. I have used this trick SEVERAL TIMES in my home, and I love it!! You just have to move the door around a bit after spraying both hinges (open, shut, open, shut, repeat) for the "oil" to get where it needs to go to stop the squeaking. Just put a couple of short sprays right on each hinge, "work it in" and it should be good to go. I thought this might make your morning videoing with the kitties a little easier! If the squeaking doesn't bother you or your kids, then no worries! ❤ I love you and your videos SO MUCH, Emily! You put so much time, research, positivity, effort and LOVE into your videos. You brighten my days, and with chronic pain, I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET!! Thank you! Love you! Bye!! ❤🎉❤
Thank you for this video. I have the my dream palette and always feel that it’s too dark, but maybe with this nudes palette, I can use the two together. Thanks for the comparisons. You are such an inspiration. And very kind. Thank you. Enjoy the rest of your week😘
I saw a comment that reminded me to tell you how grateful I am as a viewer and consumer that I can trust you to be true to your opinions and preferences even when you're reviewing PR. Actually, especially when you're reviewing PR! So, thank you!
I like Natasha Denona and I have a bunch of her mini palettes and a few of her midis. I think I’d rather get her mini starlit palette that just came out than shelling out $69 for something that I’m sure I won’t use nearly as much. Thanks for the review!
It so reminds me of That's Taupe, Stone Cold Fox, Going Coconuts and few other of the mega palettes like Smoke n Roses? And few or the new CP palettes for Target 😮none of the shades looks at all unique really. I got them all for sure
Great review, as always, Em! My palette arrived today so I haven’t played much with it yet, however I will say that one thing I think is special about it are those new ‘wet look’ shades. I LOVE how fine the sparkle is…almost like fairy dust! I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes (more than I care to admit 🥴) and many with gorgeous shimmers/sparkle….but I find those shades in this new ND palette to be very ethereal and something I’ve been searching for! Cant wait to use it some more! 💜
Love how you compared it to one of my all time favs going coconuts! I’m going to break out my back up palette now 😄thank you for your informative reviews as always
The eye look minus the false lashes is beautiful and elegant! I felt the lashes detracted from your beautiful eyes. I enjoy your honest reviews and expert makeup application tips, and your kind friendly manner!
I have Stoned Cold Fox and the Mario palettes and I think you could create most of the same looks if not all. Will I be purchasing it, I thought so but now I’m wondering if I need to even bother.
I greatly appreciate this thorough review! 💚 I’ll be getting this because I don’t own any ND besides the minis & I’m definitely a “I need easy, similarly looking, quality daily” kinda gal!
I love the My Dream palette best of all. Colourpop has some of my favorite palettes. I have most of their large palettes too and I love them all. One of my very favorite is Patrick Ta's palette. I like your beautiful cup Emily and wish I could do my eyeshadow the way you do your eyeshadow. I enjoyed this video very much and we love you too Emily.🥰❤❤🐈⬛❤🌹🌹💐
I love this look on you! This actually isn’t one of my faves from Natasha, but it’s because the mattes are very ashy on my deep skin tone. I’m trying to make it work, but it’s hard! I love that tons of people enjoying it, though! 😘
Gorgeous look and I trust your reviews. I used to have a cat that slept on my edge (side sleeper). I learned to lift the covers and turn in my sleep. He was about a 15 lb cat, got my arm work out even as I selpt...lol.
I was looking most forward to your review because I knew you were going to give us drugstore alternatives. I have the going coconuts palette and haven't used it much so any time I'm thinking about this color scheme I'll reach for that one, thank you!
The ND is a beautiful palette, but with three kiddos, there's no way I can justify spending on a palette of that price right now (especially with curious little fingers getting into things. 🤣). I have Stone Cold Fox, and looking at getting Bare Necessities for my birthday in September. 😊
This palette would be great as a bridal wedding palette. I've got cold stoned fox so I am really debating on whether or not I need this one. ND's seems to have more shimmery shades than SCF and that's hard for me to resist. LOVE your lashes.
I just got this palette and love it for my everyday work looks. I only have the Mario Ethereal eyes palette but can appreciate all your comparisons for those who don’t want to spend on this if they have those others. I always look at the My Dream palette but it looks so dark for me. If I can get it on sale I might try it. ❤❤❤Have a great week!
Enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this palette, Em😊. I bought it and don’t regret it as it will satisfy the basic B in me! It is stunning but I thought u brought up some good points!! ❤
I love this palette. It's perfect for my every-day work appropriate looks. I have been waffling between Glam and My Dream and never quite was able to pull the trigger, but I ordered this so fast! I do have Stone Cold Fox but not the Mario or other CP palette, so I don't feel like I'm overloaded on those tones. :D
I have deep set eyes am and fair, so I don't ever need a lot of dark shades--they look pretty bad on me. I can't do overly warm/orange colors either. All of the dupe palettes Emily showed (I've had a couple of them) are ones I didn't/wouldn't use half of because there are too many deep shades. So this is the first Natasha Denona palette where I could use all of the shades--just using the deep brown as eyeliner once in a while. Might be the first N D palette I get after all of these years!
Thanks for reviewing this! I'll stick with the Glam palette that I already own. I was thinking it was similar and then you held them side by side. 😊 As always, very helpful review! THAT MUG!! 🦉❤❤
I have both. It’s much lighter and more wearable for me than Glam. Glam has lots of shades I rarely use. Too dark. They are very pigmented and takes a lot of blending to get them light enough for everyday look for me
I agree Emily. It’s a very pretty palette but not an essential. I love ND formulas for their staying power but SG is right up imo. Thanks for the review. I hope you feel better than you sound, because you sound very congested. Take care!
I finally went in Sephora to look at it today and bought it. I appreciate your great review. I have light green eyes with small lids and usually don’t buy many palettes because I can’t wear dark shades. This was a good add to my collection. I have a lot of rose and coral shades. This adds some variety with the light taupes.
Hi Em. Thanks for such a great review & identifying alternative palettes that could give very similar looks. I always learn from you! It is very, very hot here in Georgia. Daily forecast & excessive heat warnings seem to stay the same... My cat has slept on my stomach for a number of years. It is a comforting feeling to have my fur baby so close! Sending love & hugs.
I have the Laura Lee Los Angeles Nudie No. 2 palette and I think it's pretty similar to this ND one as well. As always, thanks for your super-honest & thoughtful review Em! Love you!
Thank for the review and the suggestions you gave. It is a beautiful palette but that price. I have the Glam Palette, and to be honest, I don't reach for it. I hope it cools down for you soon. Maybe the fall decorations and that cute cup will help.
On my eyes almost all mattes last all day and shimmers generally fade with every single brand incl ND thanks to hooded eyes. to me there's never much difference between the dozens of brands I own 😅
I also have hooded eyes, and the right lid is a lot more noticeable. I've found a huge difference with shimmer shadows if I use NYX Glitter Primer underneath it and always apply shimmers or metallics with a sponge tip applicator. My fingertips are just too big. (True glitter shadows are not for me.)
I wouldn't expect much darkness from a palette that's supposed to be Nude. I learned the opposite lesson when I bought the Glam palette. It was too dark and smoky for my coloring and it was hard to keep it light with not many soft, light, shiny shadows. There are quite a few different looks on the website as well.
Same. The only ND palette I own is the Glam and it currently sits in a drawer unused. The mattes were such a disappointment. Not a single light transition shade that works on my skin tone. Bring on the light mattes, please! And to the influencers, most people in the real world are not walking around in a smoky eye look (even the one Emily created here) except on special occasions.
Got it. Love it. I like natural looking subtle but I always use shimmer on my lid . As soon as I saw it I knew I was getting it because Natasha DeNonas are my favorite shadows. I love ABH too even though they are powdery and make a mess in the pallette they blend perfectly and colors are beautiful. I’m on my 3rd Modern Renaissance and second Soft Glam. So far loving this new DeNona nude pallette and thinking it will be a repurchase in the future. I’m thrilled there are no oranges or dark red pinks. I am over over over the warm orangey looks.
If you like this palette, I like this palette! haha! It is a little boring and dupable, but it is so pretty! However, not convinced that I need to spend $69 on it.
I like it, but I am going to have to wait because I am budgeting for Christmas. I may get the new mini one. I have My Dream and I wear it all of the time.
Thank you for sharing this with us! I would love to see a battle of the drugstore foundations of like the Neutrogena healthy skin, the new Revlon luminance, the L’Oréal tinted hydrating serum etc.
This looks so pretty. And you did a beautiful look with it. I want it but I'm not sure I need it. And like you wisely remind us a lot of holiday stuff will be coming. I can wait.
I bought it and it just arrived. I knew it would be very neutral, and I wanted a very high quality neutrals palette. I have the unpopular opinion that Colour Pop is disappointing. My Stone Cold Fox palette was impossible to blend out. I reserve my judgment on this Natasha palette until I've tried it tomorrow morning!
I have the palette and it’s stunning. I’ve been so not interested in eye palettes for the past couple of years but this was a must have.
glad you enjoy it!
For me too!! I received mine yesterday and could not stop staring at it!! I had a doctors appointment today and you know my eyelids were ND! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ll be getting this because I don’t own any ND besides the minis & I’m definitely a “I need easy, similarly looking, quality daily” kinda gal!
6:46 Of those 2 palettes, if I were 2 get 1, I would HANDS DOWN get the new 1.
ND makes great shadows. These palettes are all worth the money. $ comes to less than $5 per eyeshadow shade. Not too bad for quality shadows.
The ND is a beautiful palette, but with three kiddos, there's no way I can justify spending on a palette of that price right now (especially with curious little fingers getting into things. 🤣). I have Stone Cold Fox, and looking at getting Bare Necessities for my birthday in September. 😊
Your blush is so beautiful! 😍😍
I could see this creating some great work looks! Thank you for watching!!
Yes to pumpkin spiced coffee, Emily❣️I had an iced one last week in 100+ degree weather. Fall here we come 🧡🍁🎃
7:42 I prefer the new 1 here as well...even though I don't have any of the palettes U've shown so far.
That mug is awesome!
I wanted this palette so badly when I first saw it, but I have several of the palettes you compared it to. Thank you for saving me $69. : )
Oh! Oh! Oh!! I"ve been waiting on this!!
Enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this palette, Em😊. I bought it and don’t regret it as it will satisfy the basic B in me! It is stunning but I thought u brought up some good points!! ❤
I have been waiting for your review, Emily. I appreciate your honest review and comparison to other pallets! Keep up the good work.
I really wish I could afford this pallet and there’s a few other ones that I’d like to get to but it is what it is so. I will enjoy it through you. 🦋
I absolutely don't need it, but I want it, bought it and am waiting for it to arrive! 😅
I know that feeling!
I have Mario’s and got the Nudes. Natasha’s is so much better. Nicer colors, formulas
Agree!!! Every color is usable
Too dark. They are very pigmented and takes a lot of blending to get them light enough for everyday look for me
The new wet look formula is cool so far. I usually use my fingers for brighter pigment..
This video is very well done. Thanks for the ideas. Im pulling out those palettes
Thank you for the honest review! I was hesitant on this one. I will pass and, like you said, the holidays are just around the corner! 😊😮
9:50 If I had it, here, I would keep Stone Cold Fox & pass on the new ND palette
I agree Emily. It’s a very pretty palette but not an essential. I love ND formulas for their staying power but SG is right up imo. Thanks for the review. I hope you feel better than you sound, because you sound very congested. Take care!
it reminds me of the super old too faced white chocolate palette!!
Emily, thanks for the review, I needed it! I am so into this palette, I think I'm gonna get it, the colours look beautiful ❤️😍
Get it! It’s gorgeous. Love mine
Love the color story reminds me of Sydney Grace Cold Embrace.
If you like this palette, I like this palette! haha! It is a little boring and dupable, but it is so pretty! However, not convinced that I need to spend $69 on it.
Yep! Pretty- but not essential in my opinion!
@@emilynoel83 For sure!
Thank u for this! I can’t justify buying the ND one, I don’t wear makeup everyday. I’ll try the other 😊
This is my dream palette!!❤
This looks so pretty. And you did a beautiful look with it. I want it but I'm not sure I need it. And like you wisely remind us a lot of holiday stuff will be coming. I can wait.
I bought it and it just arrived. I knew it would be very neutral, and I wanted a very high quality neutrals palette. I have the unpopular opinion that Colour Pop is disappointing. My Stone Cold Fox palette was impossible to blend out. I reserve my judgment on this Natasha palette until I've tried it tomorrow morning!
Since I missed out on the Mark pallet I want this one. I have some other dark colors that will play well with this pallet.
The colourpop deja brew palette seems pretty similar too. I have it and it’s amazing.
