I noticed a few ladies mentioned that they were carrying on their Mom’s traditions after losing their Mom. Mine passed away in 2021 and holidays are hard, so I’m sending out love to anyone who’s celebrating without special family members. I hope you see signs that your loved ones are looking down and smiling as you celebrate the holidays!
My mother hated everything on the traditional Christmas menu, so she would do a rosemary veal roast instead. After she passed in 2019, my father asked if I could try to make it that Christmas (and all that followed). I was so scared I’d mess it up! I guess she was guiding me as it tasted exactly like hers did. Making Christmas dinner is when I feel the the closest to my mom every year. Cooking in HER kitchen, with her tools, doing her recipe. Miss her so much.

Could you do a series on "applying makeup in inconvenient situations"? I am about to start a schedule where I will need to re-apply makeup late at night and at the gym. Would love to see some videos on doing one's makeup in the car, at the gym, at the kitchen table while feeding a baby with one hand, etc. You could include tips and tricks for minimizing powder mess, keeping your hands steady, dealing with bad lighting, and other issues that come up when getting ready at a place other than your vanity.
My favorite Saturday tradition for years is to make my coffee, and either while propped up in bed, or out on the sun porch and watch Emily videos. It’s such a tradition my Saturday doesn’t start until I watch Emily and read the comments, and also her random thought. But Emily Awards Sat is another level of enjoyment. I was amazed to hear that we use the same system to remove makeup/wash our faces. I love all Vanicream products, and I use the facial wash all over my face and eyes to remove my makeup. After I rinse, I use a warm makeup remover cloth to go around the edges of my face to make sure I’m not leaving any soap there, and I finish up with my eyes to make sure I have gotten all my eyeliner off. Eyeliner seems to be the one thing that needs a little extra attention. By the way, the Vanicream bar soap can also be used on the face (unlike most bar soaps) and is great for working up a lather all over in the shower. Thank you for your great videos!

Several items in this video have been life changing for my 44 year old skin. Vanicream is 🤌🏻 - the cleanser and daily moisturizer are amazing on my skin for what it needs.
