If Queens Bohemian Rhapsody went full Metal I’m assuming it would sound something along the lines of this track/song. A multicultural musical genre mashup that is all over the place but balanced perfectly at the same time. Starting off with idk what kind of instrument that the video included documentary clips of the making of that we completely missed as we were trying to figure out what was going on musically. Only to suddenly drop into a Blackmetal onslaught of Mayhem. Get it, “Mayhem” Ok ok I know giving myself to much creative credit. Mayhem up until the Zen Guru comes in to calm everyone down and bring balance. Followed up with an absolute phenomenal vocalist delivering a multi layered operatic performance that was truly stunning “Minus the séance chanting” No possessions please. My favorite part by far was the guitarist as he had some of the most unique style of writing that sounded so fresh and original in a genre that has been done a million times before. His tone was so dirty and heavy even though the distortion was so slight. Their overall ability to balance out so many instruments/multi layered tracks & vocals so well without mudding up the track was very impressive. I’m sure they spent many, many hours perfecting such a complicated track. Such a weird contrast of haunting darkness & melodic tranquility. Definitely one of the wildest rides we’ve been on and exactly what we look forward to when experiencing new music. GAME OVER
Dude, this band has such a mindblowing diverse range of genres it's impossible;e to pin them down. I would HIGHLY recommend their song ' ieuD', it is a rite of passage and should not be missed.
Just listen to every Igorrr track. They don’t have a bad song and all are unique. Their latest release Spirituality and distortion is most accessible. This song is on that album. It might take a few listens to really understand what is going on. An amazing artist to dive into. Lots of laughs and goosebumps along the way.
Ey, are you from spanish ascendancy, girl? jaja que bueno If you want something really shooting (but always with nightmarish undertones...) try "Problème d'émotion" If you want heavy techno, "Very Noise" If you want balkanic folklore deathmetal, try "Cheval" If you want dub + opera + grindcore, try "Opus Brain" If you want goosebumps, try "Ort" or "Dorma" from Corpo-Mente, another of the side proyects of Igorrr Well, you get the idea... Igorrr is a genre in itself. Quite the musical genius...
This was so impressive. Very artistic and abstract, just goes to show that raw talent cannot be denied regardless of genre or style preference. Amazing.
Try Corpo-Mente "Ort" "Dogma" or "Arsalein" from the same guy, here in YT... the Improve Tone Studios versions... and thank me later. I guarantee you the chills. Fact. :)
That was nuts! Anytime ethnic/folk instruments meet metal it's always a good time. They're a very interesting band for sure. Watching them create the bowl was incredible. Love you guys! 🤘
The last two are the most listenable, Savage Sinusoid and Spiritualy and Distortion...maybe Hallelujah too... I mean, the first 3 works are awesome too, but really not for everybody, 12999 BPM breakcore isn't easy, lol
Ah good, you started off tame! Lots more amazing Igorrr masterpieces out there. Opus Brain, Cheval, Camel Dancefloor and Tout Petit Moineau are excellent.
the amazing vocalist, Laure Le Prunenec, uses her own invented language. unfortunately, she's no longer with the collective. fortunately though, another amazing vocalist, Aphrodite Patoulidou, whom she's a trained soprano, has taken her place. btw, the very first channel that i subscribed more than a decade ago here on youtube was igorrr's. Serre is a genius in the avant-garde/experimental metal scene.
I love Laure’s voice soooo much. I can’t remember another singers voice bringing me to tears without understanding what she’s saying. Corpo Mente is my favorite of their music.
@@Iamsmallfry Yeah, i know. But i highly recommend checking out Opus Brain, live at Pol'n'Rock version, with Aphrodite singing. I burst into tears when she began her solo midsection. Awestruck by the unison of divine and mundane..
This whole album is just fantastic, an explosion of creativity that somehow totally works and feels like something important. Like how watching "2001: A Space Odyssey" is very wtf but also clearly a seminal moment in cinema. I can't recommend the album enough, it's art in its purest form.
Spirituality and distortion is my favourite album of all time. I have listened to it more than any other album in my life. 2 years of listening every day. It just never gets old.
Sorry have to add, so amazing upon revisiting this. This feels like the song you'd love to write with your friends regardless of the outcome. Super high level. Almost music for musicians.
I heard them performing Polyphonic Rust live with the new vocalists some time ago and this was the only time in my life that I can think of, that I can say my jaw dropped, literally just stood still, mouth open and watched in awe.
Bought This album "Spirituality & Distortion" after listening for a week on YT, so glad I bought it. I believe this is the best album to come out in the last decade! And Laure Le is even better Live. sadly she isnt with them now. buy this & u wont regret it imo, has everything
Igorrr is one of my favourite artists and absolutely amazingly different from song to song. No artist sounds remotely the same. This is one of their easier accessible songs. If you want to know a better song in order to also see different stages of Igorrr's music, I highly recommend Opus Brain. Enjoy!
I consider this to be avant garde industrial metal. The creator of Igorrr (I pronounce it with a rolling r) also has another project called Corpo-Mente which features the same vocalist.
No chicken sonata or breakbeat fuckery in this one, so it's relatively tame for an Igorrr track. That said, the syncopated drumming at the end was to die for.
Once the pieces started mixing with the video I came to the mind that this was a "covid era" project. Locked down artists coming together and the through line is the metal percussion instrument grinded from the scrap metal. The angle grinder gave me nostalgia for the Industrial music age!
omg guys. I damned near peed myself watching this reaction. roflmao You are the best reactors on the Tube. lololol. Igorr is an acquired taste but I hooked onto them quickly because I love avant garde music like this.
Wow. I haven't heard this one before but was highly looking forward to this since your Instagram post. Usually they have harsh male vocals but not on this one. This is up my alley for sure.
As a huge Gojira dude, i stumbled across these guys 6 months ago or so. It’s avant garde metal, so very experimental. The 5-6 tracks i heard, it’s not for me, but there’s one i really got into, it’s Downgrade Desert. It’s not super long, but i absolutely loves this one. This one you’ll like to. Also like the honesty here. Cheers guys
I first heard Igorrr many years back with the song Tendon. If you want to experience the full extend of how weird Igorrr can get, I'd suggest doing that one. Enjoy!
You have discovered one of the most craziest and creative composer of our time. Take any Igorrr video, and you will discover something unique each time. Most of the time...but not always... the acustic guitar bit in the middle wasn't particularly so, for example...but same as Devin, Gautier loves himself a good wall of sound for sure
Maybe check out 'Parpaing' by these guys. It's a little less 'world-wide' and more western metal. Has some nice death metal vox from the Cannibal Corpse guy too if I'm not mixed up.

wellcome to breakcore !!! an umbrella term for few different genres !!! Dive in !!!!
Welcome to the IGORRR rabbithole. Just go anywhere in their discography. This is probably one of the straighter songs in their discography.
I could spend the rest of my life watching people react to this band. They're so unique and talented.
This is definitely the tamest Igorrr song I've heard. I would recommend ieuD, Downgrade Desert, and Cheval.
Yeah DD is fantastic.
And yet it's one of their best, funny that
Bruh, Opus brain > anything
@@batweed the music video for Opus Brain is S tier
Opus brain the live in Poland
Ive been hoping for an igorrr reaction for years! Thanks guys!

Hell yeah! Gotta love some Igorrr. Gotta sugest "Cheval" or "ieuD" next
This singer has a beautiful song called arsalein - corbo-mente
Shame we only have 1 corpo mente album to listen to. Ort and Dorma are next level. Amazing songs
@@theanunnaki334 there
Singer chic is INCREDIBLE so is the drummer
I saw Igorrr live in 2018, it was an amazing show.
Ah good, you started off tame! Lots more amazing Igorrr masterpieces out there. Opus Brain, Cheval, Camel Dancefloor and Tout Petit Moineau are excellent.
i remember Laure's vocal in Tout Petit Moineau made me cry.. such a divine voice

yeah, it gets better and better with each listening... and suddenly, they are one of your very fav groups, lol
I wouldn’t go that far, but they need to check our Parping.
Eyyyy my fav couple pulling an Igorrr... awesome!!
Igorrr is eclectic mastery. Such diverse elements put together in perfect ways. Overweight Poesy is my favorite track on this album.
Nervous waltz

"Wow!" should be the name of this band.
Kung-Fu Chèvre by them is so much fun to listen to, guys! You should definitely check that out - won’t be disappointed
I am so happy i stumbled on this band You should check out Mr Bungle - Goodbye Sober Day
finally igorrr is getting love!!! i recommend ieud or cheval next for a wider variety of what this band does. they are weird. i love it
I listen to Igorrr all day every day. There are 6 Igorrr albums all of them exceptional. You should listen to more. Great reaction .
First time I see you guys. I like you like the music I like. Go on!
Once the pieces started mixing with the video I came to the mind that this was a "covid era" project.
Locked down artists coming together and the through line is the metal percussion instrument grinded from the scrap metal.
The angle grinder gave me nostalgia for the Industrial music age!
I've so been waiting for you guys to catch Igorrr. Opus brain, ieud and paranoid bulldozer Italiano!!!!! There's no one out there more unique.
Best band ever
They are one of my favourite live bands. Better live than on the recording......to me that is the mark of a top band
Not sure what I just listened to, lol!
A musical masterpiece written by a genius. Igorrr could be considered the modern day Bach, Chopin or more likely Domenico Scarlatti
Igorrr is siickk!

This one is actually conservative by Igorrr standards. You'll find others much wilder than this. Definitely worth checking out some more of Igorrr.
Wow. I haven't heard this one before but was highly looking forward to this since your Instagram post. Usually they have harsh male vocals but not on this one. This is up my alley for sure.
It appears they're all classically trained. This was a very pleasant surprise.

You have discovered one of the most craziest and creative composer of our time. Take any Igorrr video, and you will discover something unique each time.

ieuD (a first time seeing this video+song is something to remember)
Tout petit Moineau (the version "@ Dour Festival 2014" which is a phenomenal live performance)
Parpaing (featuring George Fisher from Cannibal Corpse)
and more!
And in case you look for crazy among the crazy, they have 2 experimental "things" :
My chicken symphony
Very Noise
Igorrr is great. Would love to see you listen to one of the new soilwork singles if you get chance 🤘
..and in the end the instrument was made, yes that one from the start of the video 🙈
its time for you to be familliar with hard complex music
Por fin!! IGORRR gran banda!! Ahora a seguir esperando a "KATATONIA" Y "AMORPHIS"

Τοο much Therion in it .....awesome !!!!
My son got to help set gear up for Igorr n I'm sixty three and I love this shit🤟
Igoor kicks ass
jestescie zajebisci tyle
Check out Very Noise by Igorr
This must be the most compressed thing in the world hahaha (i mean, production wise)
Yeah it's helmed by an electronic wizard who wants nothing more than to punch people in the ear and disorient them
Most of the time...but not always... the acustic guitar bit in the middle wasn't particularly so, for example...but same as Devin, Gautier loves himself a good wall of sound for sure
Tendon by Igorrr next
It like ripping your head off and then putting it in a blender. Love tendon. Nostril album is very breakcore oriented and tendon has it down to a tee.
@@theanunnaki334 Double Monk is also a banger. And tout petit moineau at dour festival live is stunning!
Nah... anything from Poisson to Nostril should be left for later, too bizarre without training, lol
i still remember your the opt reaction, i think you'd get a real kick out of igorrr - cheval, a very fun song!
You can always tell when someone isn't ready for Igorr
Try Cheval by Igorrr. You will be really confused but it's hilarious. The video is so much fun.
u can clearly see the woman likes metal. digging it. only a metal fan wouldnt be that shocked from the beginning lmao
Girl I like
Its a grinder not a chainsaw. Sorry I watch your videos a lot. LOL
Deftones 👍👍👍
Taylor swift sells more. Crazy
Downgrade Desert next for sure, other tracks are meh, just nit my thing. But Downgrade Des is epic.
Maybe check out 'Parpaing' by these guys. It's a little less 'world-wide' and more western metal. Has some nice death metal vox from the Cannibal Corpse guy too if I'm not mixed up.
You're not mixed up, Corpsegrinder is indeed the singer.
Y’all should check out Karyn Crisis ~ The Alchemist or Kingdoms End 🔥
it's called nerd musical shitposting, they're crazy good but they just don't take it too seriously
Parpaing featuring corpsegrinder was better.
Wtf ?
It finally happened, please don’t let the igorrr train stop here! They have so many interesting songs :)
guys you have to react to more IGORRR you will love it
