I hope you'll explore more the corpo mente / Igorrr rabbit hole.
You're right about the use of her emotion when she sing, but it's even more, back in 2004 Laure and two others created a specific language called Oxxo xoox based on emotions rather than acutal words. That's what you hear here and in most igorrr songs.

Now this is a pleasant surprise, vocal channels need more Corpo-Mente

the guy on the drums is not the composer: The composer, Gautier Serre, is the "red" guitarist with the beanie. laure is classically trained: great emotional singing; check "tout petit moineau" (tiny sparrow) live in Dour.

Laure is the bomb, any Corpo-Mente and almost any Igorrr would be great
Edit, after reading the comments: the singer is Laure Le Prunenec, the composer is the guy with the beanie and the Squire (lol) Gautier Serre (a.k.a Igorrr and a bunch of other proyects, quite the genius)

Laure Le Prunenec a.k.a. Rïcïnn. You can ear her on Rïcïnn albums (indeed) , Corbo-mente, Igorrr, Öxxö Xööx (Öxxö Xööx aka Laurent Lunoir who also sings on some Igorrr songs)
They also share the same invented language, You can have a lexic on the Öxxö Xööx bandcamp page.

Laure is amazing. Corpo-Mente is her side project with Igorrr mastermind Gautier Serre (one of the guitarists here). Rïcïnn is her solo project.
She's had some classical training and all her songs are in a made-up language.

You only Would be further confused if you had "The Lyrics"🤣👍🤘
Considering 🤷Not only are they French... They literally sing in their own fashioned made up language....
By proxy the singing is purely emotionally conveyed...
This was awesome AF 👌 that you did a reaction to such an amazing artist 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Please do Ieud by Igorrr. Same female vocalist and guitar player in the band Igorrr but it's very different.

10:50 you bet she's formerly trained, lol. She had already made a name for herself as an opera singer prior to joining this band.

Now Charlie should listen to Mariza sing Gente da Minha Terra.
Or we could have the great Cecilia Bartolli...

I love watching people react to Igorrr, Corpo Mente and their other projects. Its so unique and beautiful in its own way and the astonishment of people experience them for the first time is pretty fascinating itself :D
especially if they have deeper knowledge on music theory, or vocals

Gugle "Corpo-Mente Dorma live improve tone" or "Arsalein" and brace yourself, it doesn't get more emotional than that

Even though they are French, the language she is singing in is a made up one, and it is designed to convey emotion, which you rightly picked up on. She also sings it in Igorrr (the main band of the guy playing the red guitar, who is a musical genius - check out the video - 'Igorrr - ieuD'. It will totally confuse you whilst blowing your mind. He (Gautier Serre) basically makes musical art.
Best band I found last year once I got an ear for it.

    Make a reaction to Igorrr!
This is a very unusual experience.
The lineup also includes this singer (Laura)
    Clips:
    "IeuD"
    "Downgrade Desert"
    "Opus Brain"
    "Cheval"
    Maybe "Parparing"
And laura's crazy vocals - "Tout Petit Moineau @ Dour Festival 2014"
    You will not regret
