Usually when you go from any mid range product to a premium product in any companies product line up… the premium product is going to be all around better than the mid range product. But thats not the case with the Skullcandy Venue and Skullcandy Crusher ANC. At first I wasn’t going to make this video but after seeing the results of the ANC test and comparing these headphones feature sets I thought this video could help some people.

I'm 47 years old and bought ALOT of headphones. The crusher anc is the best I've ever owned. I bought the sony wh-1000xm3 last weekend then bought these crushers yesterday. I was blown away by the crushers. Now I have 2 of the best headphones right now. The sony for their anc and the crushers for head banging bass.
But if you had to choose one. Which would you rather have ?

3:17 Slight correction, the Venues are not Skullcandy's first pair of ANC headphones ever. The had some ANC headphones back in 2006 called the Proletariat. But like most pre-2012 Skullcandy headphones, the quality may have been pretty trash.

I must have gotten a fake or broken pair because they're too small, even adjusted as big as they can go (and I don't have a big head lol), there is zero noise cancelling, and the sound is atrocious. There is absolutely no bass, and I have them on almost 100 volume and it's still too low. I don't understand?? I bought them on Amazon from Skullcandy. I've been a Hesh 2 user for years and so far those are literally the only good pair of headphones I've ever had.
My venue did crack cause I accidentally fell asleep with them on and they eventually broke but Skullcandy sent me either the fixed ones or a new pair. So I'm not complaining. I just got the crusher ANC. I have noticed that the venue have better noise cancelling and ambient mode then the Crusher ANC. Which kinda pisses me off a bit since I paid over $300 for these and you would expect it to at least have the same capabilities. Still decent just not as good as the venue. I do say it makes it with the good sound quality and bass. So it's a give or take I guess. I still love em but just that but disappointed me a little. Anyways I still love one of the best Skullcandy headphones I have had so far. I think the crusher ANC use the bass to cover up the rest of noise.
I'm looking at getting the venue.
You'll be better of buying crusher wireless trust me
@doung sengchhoung i have crusher wireless & venue.. you wouldn't be able to enjoy music with the venue.. So i recommend crusher wireless over venue.. I was considering crusher anc but then there are sony 1000xm3 😢
Also one thing i can definitely say is that the venue aren't loud enough, too

How did you adjust the noise cancellation for the Venues? Is there a setting or an app that allows you to customize that?

Look at tge difference in anc between the venue and the xm3, these are not reliable results.
Your venues does have a rattle sound when you turn the ANC at max vol? With for example songs like rockstar of post malone makes the bass rattle with ANC on but when you turn off the rattle goes off

They have Warranty on them in case you wanted a new pair.
Buying anything skull candy is an exercise in disappointment. They’re a trendy “hip” brand. Quality control isn’t their speciality. Remember classmates when I was in high school having hesh and other models. They all physically broke or blew out a driver. Recently I bought a pair of SKLCNDY wireless buds. One 2 days past one month the right bud stopped working. Managed to work a deal with the Best Buy rep, for a gift card. Bought Sabbat buds, which are still working fine.
