I am so thankful I had the privilege to be invited to the 2017 National Scout Jamboree and see Creek Stewart! When it was called Boy Scouts of America, I wish I could go back since now that I am an EagleScout Class of 2018

Creek, Rambo is to you, as You are to me. You changed my life, and showed me what I want my life to be about and I love it! Thank you so much!

When I was a little girl I wanted to join the Boy Scouts, but back then it was a big no-no. I had no interest in how to act like a lady and how to cook, clean, sew and act polite to bullies. Back then I did a lot of camping and I loved it. I wish I had the opportunity to join the Boy Scouts. Now I’m a senior citizen. Too late?, maybe, but it’s not too late for me to learn from Creek’s site.

Never too late! Perhaps you could find a group on Facebook or some other site with locals that get together and do what you love to do!

Creek, that was really good. My favorite tidbit is this: "I got into this business because it was fun and I wanted to feel like Rambo. I’m still in it 20 years later because I found a way to add value into the lives of other people. You will get into doing what you love for a living because you love it and it’s fun, but if you do not find a way to add value into the lives of other people, it will not give you long-lasting, sustaining fulfillment."
I remember an episode of Fat Guys in the Woods where you told a young man named Joe something like, "You’re not gonna come into the woods for the first time and be a master, but it’s important to me that you walk away from here with some life skills; not necessarily how to build a fire, and not necessarily how to build a shelter, but not giving up on those things." You are doing great things.

I wish I had seen this in person but staffing the jamboree was tiring and I just wanted to sleep.

Creek...Adults do NOT wear merit badge sashes...you should have known better....look up the BSA Uniform Regulations....I am a Eagle..Class of 1973...once I hit 18, the sash went on the memorabilia wall,,,Be a proper example to Scouts and Scouters...Wear the uniform properly...By the way the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge course I took in 1971 was taught by a retired US Army Ranger..the course was awesome !!! The last 48 hours of the course we had to catch or find our own food, clean water, make rustic shelter, make fire with flint and steel or fire bow...I loved it !!!

Crows protect my squirrels & baby birds in my backyard from predatorial hawks etc..Shame on you dude. . Ironically if that crow never bothered you. You wouldn't be on your current life path! In a sense you owe that crow everything lolz
