My favorite restaurant of all time. Always there in 80's
My first job was at a Piccadilly in Gainesville Florida until it closed in 2001
Yes, I remember...Morrison's too.
We still have 2 in southeast Houston so I’d better go enjoy their fish asap before they disappear 😅
nice, order one for me too.
@@EricCProductions76 lol 😂
Where in South Houston? I need directions
@@tejanodoc awww I looked it up on google maps but the one that used to be on gulf freeway says permanently closed. Sorry
The last Morrison’s Cafeteria is actually in Mobile, AL (my home town) and is ran by Piccadilly.
nice
Lots of great memories eating at Picadilly Cafeteria in Volusia Mall, Daytona Beach, going all the way back to my early childhood. They had the best strawberry pie! Their spaghetti and meatballs was top notch too.
Moved to Nashville almost 2 years ago got to experience a Piccadilly's but unfortunately it shut down just afew weeks later sad it was excellent food...
thanks for sharing your memories
I have so many memories of eating at Piccadilly Cafeteria in the Fort Henry Mall Kingsport, Tennessee as a kid growing up. Most Saturday's my parents would take me to the mall and this is where we would eat, or Bonanza Steakhouse (another now extinct place). I loved their chicken, roast beef, french fries, a cucumber salad (I still make a version of at home), the soft rolls and chocolate cake. Miss this place so much and wish one that was still open was closer to me.
Can you do a video on Jerry's Restaurants "Home of the J boy burger" sometime?
thank you for your suggestion. I will put it on my list. Thanks.
As a kid this was the most baller restaurant we went to as a family. My father never took us out to eat as a family. If we did eat fast food it was mainly with my mom. These included: DQ, BK, Taco Bell, Sonic, Pizza Hut & McDonalds. I took my exwife to chilies thinking I was a baller. 😅
This was great. Thanks for including my comment. Looking forward to your future videos
Thank you for your suggestion
We had a Piccadilly Cafeteria in the Macon Mall, it took the place of Morrison's Cafeteria. That was back when the Macon Mall was called Colonial Mall Macon. Piccadilly's IMHO couldn't hold a candle to S&S Cafeteria
Didn't know they had one of those. Great video. Thanks for sharing
thanks for watching
Still one in Metairie
Dude I remember this resteraunt i never really went to it but I definitely remember it back in the early 2010s
never got a chance to see them
Yes. Wish I could find recipe for their Harvest cake.
Harvest cake was a recipe used to get rid of scrapped deserts. If there wasn't enough scrap deserts, the difference was made up with pineapple. I worked for Piccadilly for 10 years, every time I had harvest cake, it tasted different.
@@nsfan1956 It was still delicious even not tasting exactly the SE each time. It tasted close enough. Would love main ingredients recipe.
Never heard of these restaurants before seems to be similar to lulys cafeterias. Thanks for the video
thanks for watching
Yeah it’s exactly similar I have been to both
Gone
Did you got the history of LA Curacao that I sent you for the video 👍📲

@@juanserrano5629 nope, if I can do it, it will be in December since I am working on the videos for that month right now.
