    This video was great!
I had to run into Walmart yesterday to pick up an item when I realised I was a bit dehydrated. I was not going to pay $2.79 for an 8 oz bottle of water. I was at the back of the store so took a chance on the water fountain by the restrooms. The fountain was sparkling clean, the water icy cold and tasty. What a freaking surprise! A store employee saw my shocked expression and told me that fountain is actually filtered. They also clean it throughout the day. It's a well known secret amongst the employees. They use the fountain to fill the water bottles they carry around the store while working.

Well, they ARE bubblers. It was created in Wisconsin and called as such because it bubbled up. A water fountain is a decoration at a park 🤷‍♀️⛲️ You can drink from them if you'd like. But a bubbler is indeed a bubbler. Just like people calling a carbonated beverage soda, pop, coke, or even soda pop. I prefer soda, but even in Wisconsin, depending on the region, I've heard it every way. It is what it is at the end of the day lol. It's not that serious except the coke one to me is a bit confusing only because I think it's just dumb to add an extra step to ordering what specific kind you want (or just accepting an actual Coke lol). To each their own, though.

Apart from the risk of waterborne diseases from the communal water fountain, did someone also determine that pre-2000s children were severely dehydrated? Because the water bottles kids lug to school now are MASSIVE!

About your podcast, season 7, episode 22 (aired in June)- Amy Hann was your guest speaker. Didn’t know where to comment.
Promise I’m only 41… so not that old 😆
Amy is my neighbor, few houses down, and it’s been a privilege to know her given her general AWESOMENESS, and her great family, and beyond that her ADHD specialty. Our little girls are like sisters. We are a bi-racial family of 5, I am a minority, Hispanic (from Puerto Rico), my husband born and raised in Florida. Over the last few years, I’ve become aware of ADHD and how it has been affecting our lives.
In the podcast episode When Amy spoke about homeschooling and traditional schooling, I personally know that it made a positive difference in our lives to pause homeschooling for a semester. My husband and I have somewhat goofy personalities and have humor as a key feature of our family culture. We are new to making videos but wanted to relay our homeschool vs public school journey in hopes in can help and inspire others. We did not mention of ADHD just yet, but as we continue to grow in understanding of it, we will look to add our story given the effects it has had for us with familial relationships given the lack of awareness and might I say ACCEPTANCE and VALIDATION in the Hispanic community.
I think you guys will resonate with the style of our video. ruclips.net/video/fzslVenCNaM/видео.htmlsi=coZyMYb50PlCH3R3
Appreciate what you do greatly. Thank you for bringing awareness and “AWESOMENESS” to ADHD! God bless you.
    ~Zoe and Joey

I TOTALLY use public water fountains.
    To fill my water bottle.
For 20 years, I just used the store-bought 1L water bottle till it sprang holes from the plastic flexing.
Now I have a real one that I use for years (till it breaks...and then I replace the cap if possible).
The fountains with bottle-filling features are my FAVE, but I'll just fill from the fountain if needed (or a sink...or ANYWHERE with fresh and safe liquid).
But...man, those short drinks from the fountains that barely dribbled? ::sad::
Chicago's park district parks have water fountains with no buttons so that there is less to repair. ...And from May or June through August or September? They just all in "always on" mode. I wonder how much well-filtered, safe drinking water is wasted every year with those.

Most were dirty or broken and hot. but there were a few broken ones that were so cold that they was a least 3 kids trying to force there way to the fountain. Our park had a water fountain inside a lion's head. It took lots of courage to drink from it.

💟. Definitely loving, kind, and humane, to accommodate his beloved feline's needs.
That means he takes excellent care of you, too. 💞
      Clearly, he's a treasure. 💝

I remember when my school got a new water fountain in the 90s and it made cold water, but it would run out, so everyone would get mad if one kid drank a lot.

I’m a little older than you- I remember the day in 5th grade ( FIFTH GRADE) a health teacher asked how much water we each had had that day. Only ONE kid had had water. The rest of us were stumped. Water? Why? Back then it was milk or juice. ( my health freak mom didn’t allow pop, thank goodness).

Public water fountains are a necessity in public parks. They need to be properly maintained by changing the fiter and ensuring it doesnt leak. Irregular water pressure, or a little distasteful is preferred to dehydration, and ultimately passing out.
