Really impressed with the coilover swap and work you are doing to your cars now. Especially welding a nut to that fucked bolt to get it out. Well done. Although you have damaged the rear shock rods with them mole grips, a rookie move. There should be 2 flats or an allen key hole at the top of the rod, you use an offset/ swap neck spanner on the main nut and a small spanner/ allen key on the flats/ hole to stop the rod turning. The damaged rods will now ruin the seal and leak oil, they won't last long. Always lower all my cars with coilovers, normally use GAZ or AP, get that tracking done asap. Top work, keep it up

Good job on fitting the coil overs, personally it looks sick. Could do with some wheel spacers, maybe some bigger wheels? And please get the oily fingerprints off the drivers door, it's triggering 😂😂
Just a little tip for next video, If you park the Rocco on the road and park the fiat diagonally on the drive will give you way more space for recording and keeping everything tidy👩🏿🚀
Looks so much better mate nice one. I just had 30-35mm H&R lowering springs on my scirocco with 12&15mm spacers looks and drives incredible, definitely recommend them 👍🏼
Yooo looks good Mike! Have you checked what's the lowest part underneath that could potentially get hit? Hopefully that oil leak isn't a cracked sump! 😂✌️
Looks well that. While you were doing it i was thinking it needs spacers. But i like it as is. Theirs some (rare) 17" 3 spoke fiat stilo alloys that would look insane on that if you could find them
Not such on the evo variant, but on the grande's if you lower by over 40, you have too get engine raisers otherwise you will have problems with driveshafts
Wheel spacers are not a good idea as they can ware out your wheel bearings way sooner as the wheel is pushed out further it puts more weight distribution on the wheel bearings but wheel spacers are good for racing but I wouldn't recommend it for the street but at the end of the day it's up to but they just do ware out wheel bearings As it's more weight distribution on the bearing I hope this helps And the reason is because the weight distribution is wrong but it depends on the with of your spacer the thicker the more weight distribution so for a street car don't bother take care
You should never use mole grips too hold the shaft when doing uo the too nuts …. You have put “ groves “ in thr shaft now from the teeth of the mole grips so now when the suspension goes uo and down it will tear the seals on shocker and will start too leak oil out the shocker …. Always use the flat at the top of the shocker where the nut bolts on too hold whilst tightening the nut
just a quick one bro, id turn the lock/unlock beep off as it drains the alarm siren and causes it to fuck up. it made my alarm go off all the time due to the alarm siren fault!
16:12 I cringed. The shaft {haha haha Shaft 🤣😅(I'm such a child)} is now damaged from the mole grips and that is going to shred the seals so you'll need to replace them again soon. At least you know how to do it. other than that. Awsome job mate.
I definitely agree! 🤣 But as this is my project car and is also a cheap Fiat Punto, I didn't want to invest in the best of the best if that makes sense! :)
Stanceplus are d*ckheads, bought some coilovers from them about 2 years ago, turns out they don't fit as the front strut on my car is 50mm and the coilovers I bought had a 55mm strut so it wouldn't go in. Tried to return them but they laughed at me on the phone and said they can only partially refund me as the 2 front struts were attempted to be fitted. which is how I found out it won't fit. Nice

Should there be a boot and a bump stop on the rear shocks mate?
"IT'S NIMBLE, IT'S LIKE A FOKIN LION!"

When replacing front lower arms, you should always get a wheel alignment
You shouldn’t need to
I’d say when changing the track rod end but not the lower arms

With rounded bolts either get special sockets or smack a smaller socket on with a hammer. Well done on welding tho.

For a new vid idea for the scirocco you could put the digital dash as a mk7.5 golf it will look nice on you're sirocco 🤝🏾

How u gonna install coilovers on the shitbox but not the scirocco?
One thing i would love to see is a polishing video in detail ive never done it and would love to learn how to do it
I'd be replacing bulbs before struts and lower controll arm. Good video tho
Love the content mate 🔥
I’ve never ran the adjuster on the rear when I’ve got coilovers, full low leave it out
Yeah I agree with this, would be a little softer of a ride too without it because I'm sure he compressed the rear springs with the adjuster/perch?
The drive shaft 😊🍩🌞
I have a blackmotion version with the fuc**** dualogic
Spacers on stock wheels? Paint them??
