Its because you're not winning. So many Man Utd fans are only Man Utd fans because the team won everything for years. Because of this, those fans feel entitled to win every gane & competition, and they have no other connection to the club besides that. So because Man Utd haven't been winning (enough) for years, a huge section of the fan base is in meltdown

Manager isn’t putting proper discipline towards the players hence why a new manager is needed. We gave him everything and that wasn’t enough
Utd fans just gotta accept the fact that they'll be a high-mid table team (banter era) for some years, just like Chelsea, just like Liverpool, just like Arsenal.
In that time, they have to fix the stadium, lower spending on "super" signins, fix the teams bloat (Antony out) and create a more in-sync team, like the likes of '16 Leinster or Champions League Ajax. Currently the players are just employees, lack goals and unity.
Ten Hag is probably not the man for this tall task, he's already lost the fans, is doubted by the powers that be, may have lost the dressing room (Rashford comment vs Villa) and even if not it's been years, whatever process he had in mind would have come to pass. Now he just lacks the legitimacy or the ability to keep a club together in a period of decline.
Only positive, as funny as manu relegation would be, it's not gonna happen.

Manchester City fan here I've really wanted to see a good Manchester United vs City rivalry game whereas it's just city battering united around for 90 minutes and I also want Manchester united to do well so we could have a good rivalry game however games we play against each other a season

This is all too familiar. Us Arsenal fans went through all of this in our fanbase a couple of years ago. The In vs Out stuff got so intense. Just interesting seeing the exact same thing but with Utd now.
This is truly how the modern day Arsenal community came to be. The exact same motions, the exact same turmoil that United are going through lead to a lot of people in the arsenal community becoming very questionable in the opinions they have and the way they go about their club.
So nobody has an idea about how to get United out of this mess but everybody has different ideas about how United can get out of this mess. You don't know what you're trying to achieve but you want United to be a well run club and compete against the best in the league.10 minutes of rambling nonsense.

So as a Manchester United fan I can safely say I don’t allow the media to manipulate my football intelligence. It’s the fans fault, media’s fault, glazers fault, too much complaining. To many problems which will take years to address. have no direction, no identity, no style of play, behind the scenes/ boardroom squabbling, not being united. A lot of deadwood players and players who dont believe in the manager and the project. Major dissection and overhaul needed in all areas of the club

After 10 years of downfall, we need some stability and consistency. It may not be the winning formula but we have to build a level of connection with the players and the manager so it could at least be the stepping stone to success.
