Thank you for this wonderful build i enjoy running ARC on my hunter when i started my destiny 2 journey in October of last year during the season of the witch it was the subclass i ran and my husband referred me to. He's the main reason why i started playing, i love Skyrim and he tried for years to get me to play destiny and i never tried it out until October and let me say i am here now commenting on videos like yours and still play till this day. My husband has been playing since destiny 1 and my only regret is i haven't started playing sooner then i had. But it's better to be late then never i guess. I appreciate people like you that take time to create content for destiny 2 cause it helps people like me, that are fairly new to the destiny world learn. Much love ❤️
I'm so with you on wishing i started this game way earlier. I tried it a year ago i think and just didn't get on with it, i to play skyrim and that's an amazing game to, i play as the wood elf as I'm an archer i just love using bows in any game lol. But yes only been on Destiny 2 for about 3 months now, so still learning alot and not got all the different subclasses aspects yet, only the hunter ones. I play arkstrider at moment but still getting my head around melee lol, I'm at heart a Division 2 player but a about 3 months ago decided to try Destiny 2 as alot of Division player's also play Destiny and there's only one build called the boynk build that does melee, i also play other fps games like fortnite, used to play CoD but not so much reasonatly, so melee is a totally different playstyle for me. Also looking ahead on what subclass to use next and probably be solar especially using the exotic chest piece ophidia spathe especially in pvp. But yer I'm hooked on the game now, doing the lightfall campaign at moment. As a newlight there's alot to learn, but its atleast fun learning stuff, not like warframe that i just gave up on that game, great game if they actually gave you any hints on what to do and what all the resources do. Any way i tend to write books in comments lol. Hope i didn't bore you to tears lol.
thanks to this build i now nearly run triple 100's which is crazy in resiliance strength and discipline this build is also just cracked this will most likely be my main build form now on
You’ve almost got it. I’ve been using this build for damn near a year. And the Wastelander crafted with enhanced One Two punch is the only way to go with this build. Once you get good with the build you can literally solo GMs with it.
This was me a year ago, just came back to destiny assuming this build would of been nerf’d by now due to how easily you can solo GM’s but im amazed its still at full power! Lets goooo. Dude at one point it felt easier to solo GMs than do it with a party just bc theyd ruin my chains
@@burntdoug6823 that’s hilarious bro! I just came back about a month ago and thought the same exact thing. It’s stayed under the radar somehow. I run triple 100s in resilience, mobility, and strength. Also I did try the build your new way, and it’s a fun alternative to the old method for sure.
Well brotha…our build just got drug into the lime light. And holy shit! You’ll want to check it out, but basically I took everything from the build we both use and changed over to the arc/prismatic class. I don’t want to spoil anything…but do this asap, you’re in for a treat.
I've been running some version of this build for a long time. For most content, I like running Thunderlord. It's just a great all-around heavy. Currently, I'm running that with Mountaintop and 1-2 Punch Dead Weight.
The fact of this build having such a long wind up before it really gets going, coupled with the fact that when you run out of enemies, you have to begin again, and the artifact not having any love for arc, it seems there are simply other builds to best assist the solo player. And it's easier than ever to get into fireteams with the new finder. Hopefully with the new expansion, things will change. I love this build but I only ever have practical use inside of lost sectors.
I'm going with the assumption that final shape will have arc surge (and potentially void) so I made this in prep for seasons all about arc. Right now strand and solar are outperforming everything. But the simple fact that this build is a bogo for solo and team based activities warranted a dedicated video in my opinion.
I know this commend is a bit late but I am kinda new in d2 and recently saw a firesquad member with the Trinity Ghoul and instantly fell in love with that weapon. I tried this build and I rly like it but I don’t have the bow jet so if anybody could tell me if it’s good with this build I would rly appreciate that ❤
Loved the video so much I subscribed. There are soooo many good channels that offer up superb content. Even thoughI wish I could, I can't subscribe to everyone one. If I did, I'd miss out on vudeis I know I'd really like because RUclipss algorithm is ao damn botchy. So I gotta limit my subs to creators I know will absolutely post S-tier content. Usually I'll watch several of a creators videos to see if they're consistent before subbing. I didn't have to with this creator. Because it's my favorite build, I've watched a ton of videos on it the past year to keep up on any changes or tweaks, buffs or nerfs the build might get from season to season. This video, about this build is (in my own opinion) is the best one yet. It's short-n-sweet and to the point. No effing around. I can watch the video and be playing ij no time. It's quick enough to be fast, but not so fast that I have to pause in-between suggestions. It's... Perfect. Just wanted to say thanks and I'm looking forward to watching more of your content.
I thought about it, I was strapped on time and since it only increases super damage I didn't think it was necessary. I'll try to plan for it better next time 🫡
@Dallas_Tx214 👍 in raid scenarios it's 100% worth it to swap to star eaters. If solo I'd always recommend assassin's cowl. The middle ground can be iffy, depends on your teammates builds and the activity
Nah. If things are close enough to use an SMG on, just melee them. Personally, I like running this with double special. I use Mountaintop, Dead Weight, and Thunderlord for most content. For bosses I can get close to, I use two 1-2 Punch shotguns and Tractor Cannon.
I honestly feel like Strand Hunter, especially since it's lacking in subclass specific Exotics, plays a lot better into Cowl Edit: Will say though that Cowl on Arc is an always good, consistently performing build, and that SES on Gathering Storm is a little slept on due to Arc's absence from the Artifact. No real hate for this one as a fellow frequent Arcstrider 🫡
For sure, I made a strand build with assassin's cowl and was very pleased with it. For me, having gathering storm is huge for many activities. I think both have a place, and it's good to have each in case there is a surge

@nutz4638 well yah, like I said in the video, I'm recommending it as a general build, nearly all the solar stasis or strand ones are relevant if you use those weapons. So I could mention the whole artifact for basically every build.
Be prepared for randoms to do everything within their power to make sure you cant actually get kills or stacks. Speed runners are a cancer on the gaming community.

Do you run tractor w it too cause if you hit a boss with tractor then melee then shotgun and repeat it would be very good no?
i used EX Diris and Appetence and Crux Termination IV .... the result is street fighter with nukes hands

I am a main Hunter and I always use wormhusk crown or foetracer and run strand 😉
This was my fave build but honestly not as good as it once was…
Seasonal artifacts can really make a difference. I'm hoping that next season buffs arc and this will return to it's former glory
