Saurya Airlines aircraft crashes during takeoff in Kathmandu
A Saurya Airlines aircraft crashed during takeoff at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Nineteen people, including aircrew, were aboard the Pokhara-bound plane which met with the accident at around 11 am, said Premnath Thakur, TIA spokesperson.
Police and firefighters are carrying out rescue operations at the accident site.

Additional information: pilot said he couldn’t climb after the initial take off the plane’s control stopped working. The plane stalled one side due to failure to gain altitude and dived head first. The plane bumped into some tanks or infrastructure of some sort so the Pilot happened to land away from the fire.
