  • Anderstorp Raceway (Previously known as Scandinavian Raceway) is a circuit based in Anderstorp, Sweden - It is the only Nordic country to ever host a Formula 1 Grand Prix (1973 - 1978)
The circuit is based arouhd an Airfield landing strip and several banked Corners, It is also the circuit where the iconic six-wheeled Tyrell P34 & the Brabham Fan Car took their only victories.
Unfortunately when both Ronnie Peterson and Gunnar Nilson were killed during the 1978 Formula One Season, support and demand for the venue quickly dried up and the Swedish Grand Prix was soon a distant memory.

Great lap! Anderstorp has always been a favourite track to me, especially since it has an airport runway across the main straight. Landing on there in X-Plane is a nice challenge, and is made funnier as the AI aircraft treat the whole track as a taxiway. I'd love to see an AC lap of the BT46B around here too (keeping the rpms high gives more suction). Liked & Subscribed.
