I've had tins of chicken soup for 2015, and it tasted the same as if it was bought yesterday.. Also had crisps dated 2 years ago... Taste texture and smell . Stay safe Mike . Love to y'all.. Mick
canned foods technically never go "bad", as long as the cans haven't been dented up. They start to loose nutritional value over time, but remain edible
Greetings Mike. This was a great video. Mike just keep being/doing you always. Take what you want, leave what you don't want/need. It's okay, this is what matters when you're dumpster diving. PLEASE PLEASE be CAREFUL out there getting those treasures. Be safe, healthy &blessed always
Oatmeal is good for at least 2-3 years if kept in a dry place & those green bean chip things are good for at least 1-2 years if kept in a dry place as well
At times my family and I had to raid dumpsters like this one to find something to eat luckily one of the employees brought us fresh eggs ect to us along with non perishables we collected from the dumpster
Well that's is a peeler for apple and another great dumpster diving day. You are doing something great for the MOTHER earth. RECYCLE!!! Thanks for sharing this story today.
I deliver newspapers and one of my customer had a gnome in her yard that I would move from time to time. Then I found another one at a yard sale and took it to the customer so the gnome would have a friend. Well make a long story short I got a letter from my customer tell me thank you for the gnome and from the security she could see moving the gnomes around and thought it was funny.
My hamster loves those harvest pea snacks lol 🐹 If you have vacumn bags you can reseal bags that are close to exp date and freeze them. They practically last forever! When times get tough, scrappers won’t go hungry. No such thing as pride in survival brother, remember that😉✌🏼
47:25 those are punchdown blocks. Originally used in business telephone systems. Can also be used in computer network wiring. And the pieces in the plastic are the brackets to hold them on the wall.
Hanging that chandelier on a tree branch in your front yard would most certainly be a conversation piece with your neighbors. For example, people may say "Why the heck did he hang a chandelier in his tree?" or "There goes the neighborhood"! LOL. All kidding aside, it may scare the birds away from your bird bath. Cheers, Mike.
I love that you saved the bird bath. I have been looking for one for a while. I do have a serving platter I use, I found at a thrift store. Needs a base. Love your videos only problem is I am talking to myself.
I love how you usually dig through the dumpsters but sometimes I wish you would check out things people dump a little better like the books. I'm sure there were more books that were still readable.
You should carry a pair of side cutters in your pocket Mike. That way you can cut the wires off when you don't want the rest. A small pair of vice grip is useful too. I use the side cutters to turn screws and bolts and the vice grip to hold nuts or whatever else.
Animal shelters would love the meat in vac packs and homeless would appreciate the other snacks i would think in these tough times..love your work as usual man..
Mike, you must safe that stuff in the dumpster if something had a sell-by date it isn't to say the stuff isn't good anymore. This virus epidemic going to be here for long so safe that food that you think isn't good anymore. Stand strong Mike.
Question; Haven't you ever felt like someone just may be following you around to collect all the scrap after you find it while riding your bike to various dumpsters?
9:20 those telecom white things with all the metal plug/clips for the wires are usually brass! Coated with tin or nickel or whatever, but scratch them to make sure. Sometimes you can pop the back off and they all dump out.
Hola meki el vicicletero en español me encanta , jjj te salió muy bien , sigue haci y esos allasgos no es tan tan mal Mr mike , saludos , sigue haci y un abrazo... quiero ir a vivir allá...
Hay Mike, I'm not taking the mickey or such but when you pick up a 'light' and say "OOO that's cool, I bet it lights up and stuff", then someone might😂😂👍👍👍
You are a nice comic person in your work. I love your work very much. I love fishing and need even one machine from what you leave on the street, but I only have 100 dollars.
I believe that is an apple peeler/spiraler thing Mike. That circle part is where the core goes through.
or a carrot pealer?
apple was my first guess?
I have one. Use it to peel, core and slice apples.
No no no, that's a pasta-winder.
Apple Peller - We had on as a kid. Use it all the time.
Yep an apple peeler. You got it.
Thanks for still uploading content,
