@29:39 That is a tape dispenser for gummed tape that requires water. I've got a 45 year old one (same model 52 from Nashua Package Sealing or NPS) sitting about 10 feet away from me right now.
NEC Plasma screen , used in malls for advertising on , they are super well made and produce an incredible picture , it's got all kinds of inputs on it !
The nec monitor is one of the best monitors of it's time, and expensive as all get-out. The Multeos series has 2 versions, M40 and M46. I have the M46, being used as a home entertainment monitor. It's from 2011 and cost $4,200 without the added speaker package. They were meant for permanent installation, mostly airports, hospital waiting runs, etc.
Hey Mike if you want to keep your shoes from getting wet or so put some mink oil you get it at any shoe repair shoe shop where they have the products for polish and what you do is you take a toothbrush and you get it into those threads and I'll keep the water out cuz if you're going to be afraid that your boots are going to get wet and soggy then do that fix the problem
Mike take those old monitors and drop them from 5 feet on the top front corner and they pop apart then kick the big copper coil off the back of the picture tube in seconds! I used to do computer reclaiming and we'd swing those monitors like a sledge hammer into the cement floor with the power cord! Good times!
I know i"m late! and you probably already know this, At 34:18 , that JetPack device is a portable internet modem. Cell companies sell them for people who don't want or can't use their cell phones as hot spots. Plans are usually cheaper than a phone plan because it's plain data. nothing fancy.
Man, sometimes I just wanna cry at all the wood and plywood you leave in those dumpsters! I'd HAVE to take that home with me! BTW, those are reels of magnetic tape (like they used to use for reel-to-reel tape recorders and cassettes), that is used for data recording by some instruments, then transferred to a computer.
😆🤣🤣 I love Mike out burst world's, ITS OIL DOWN HERE!! 😆 HE REALLY entertain himself knowing he got alot to do! I always watch him, I got my mom watching Mike, i.said mom!? This fellow here? He's cool to watch and he won't leave a dumpster unless it was fully check, if its too full ? He what he can and move on! 😆
Here’s the next summers block buster movie! Mike takes the film home only to find top secret stuff on the film! Our hero stands alone amongst the dumbster crowd! The scavenger will bring the secrets to the world no matter what security says😜! Watch your head!
lessee....the Verizon Jetpack is a portable wifi - the thing with rollers is probably a server rack attachment - as for the big reels, those are computer tapes...they were used mostly in mainframe computers.....yeah, I'm old enough to remember that....lol Great dive tonight, especially with the display monitor and sewing machine! Always love watching! Keep hustling!
Those NECs used to be the goods, used to rock out some Quake on one of those top of the line in its day built like a tank, keep scrappin,I’m still jelly about those machinist boxes
I could see the making of a crane for your truck with that exercise equipment, the tubing looks pretty thick and you could get a hand crank winch from Harbor Freight for the lifting part.
Yeah I would put a peace of plywood on the wheel plate and put a pad for a pillow and make it into a crawler for getting underneath your vehicle. I love watching your videos bub keep up the good work, make that money 💰🤑....
33:36 the NEC monitor, is probably high res, we used to have them in our very large machine shop/ press room, very high dollar at the time.. The brush thingy, from Rack Solutions is so you can run wires in and out and keep dust or air out.
Nothing but entertainment everytime I watch mike! I’m heading out tonight to dumpster dive in your name. Thanx for the awesome content
Haha at the end, Lawn mower, then a plane flies over. I thought a marching band was gonna come down the street next!
Naa, just a Mariachi band in the back of a truck! 👍
Them dumpsters have had more hits than the Beatles
That sewing machine! Old sewing machines sew the best! So cool! 🌹
Y’all hear him pass gas 🤣🤣🤣I hear him all the time 🤣🤣🤣
I think I’m gonna start calling you Motor Mike, I can’t believe the amount of motors you find! 👍🏼🤪
That sample window might be used in a children's outdoor playhouses?
Hey Mike, i love your content and the karate sound effects to! Made my day! :-)))))

Mike, Those reel looking things are magnetic tape used to store digital data. Very old school.
For mainframe computers.
Love all the videos you're pumping out! Take a day off! We'll still be here!
Take a day off. Rest, relax, rejuvenate. We will still be here...
Never take off then you make no money
@@nebraskapicker2952 it is ok to take a day off once in a while
Those rolls Of Tape Are 1960’s magnetic computer tape, same as a floppy disk
they may have started in the 60's but we used them into the 90s on large (mainframe) computers for backing up the data..
These were thrown out when Government program Tic Toc was finally cancelled.
They were the hard drive before hard drives were invented
Bless you! Love your videos! Thanks for showing us your work & doing it in a way that makes me laugh video after video. ❤
👍👋
To get those ballast you could have put the magnet on the end of the stick and then picked up the ballast.

Hi Mike another beautiful day for dumpster diving a lot treasure there stay safe bro regard 👍💪💰❤️

You should have hung your magnet on your dumpster stick to get the ballasts. 😂
You can make a dolly to get under your motor to fix it with the plate with wheels on.
3:54 hey Mike, you gota stop eating those Rosarita Refries man.
lessee....the Verizon Jetpack is a portable wifi - the thing with rollers is probably a server rack attachment - as for the big reels, those are computer tapes...they were used mostly in mainframe computers.....yeah, I'm old enough to remember that....lol Great dive tonight, especially with the display monitor and sewing machine! Hook your magnet 🧲 with the schtick and then you wouldn’t have to get in the juice 😉
Good find on magnet
I could see the making of a crane for your truck with that exercise equipment, the tubing looks pretty thick and you could get a hand crank winch from Harbor Freight for the lifting part.
Even a come along 1 ton cable puller would do the trick.

Tapes are old CV computer tapes for old main frame computers from the 1970's thru the 1990's.
Love your videos💕👍
The window would be good for a tiny house build.
Mary Yates he could have probably gotten 50 to 75 dollars out of it.
