In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!
The follow up on this one is gonna be pretty epic .
And he needs to tell us how long he was in there.I bet almost 2 hours
Mike doesn't do follow ups 😂😂😂😂
I cannot wait to see how much he gets for that heavy load!
I can’t wait!
@@clifdavis2809 Yes he does, I have seen several.
Went back and watched again I would always grab the memory first at 20,00 a pound worth much more then the rest of the stuff . Cried when it all slid to the bottom LOL.
you do not know how long i have waited to see you use straps to haul stuff out of the dumpster 🤣
When I’m struggling with something heavy like those blocks I start telling it “work with me”
Wow. Those dumpsters epic in this one.
So much fun!!
Mike score in the open top!
I would be so happy with this haul!
Amazing finding those boxes with the magnets in them. and all that good scrap, makes a person feel good when Mike fills up ole dotser.
Those breakers have silver in them!

8:16 down in the fluff
I bet it took about six hours to do all that 🤔🎸🤘🤘
What a wasteful society we are. Good on ya Mike for doing your part!
You work hard ,take good care of your health
Mike, that was an awesome episode. That dumpster kept on giving and giving, like an endless amount of scrap. Hey Mike, you sure you weren't just dreaming out loud on that episode? Thanks for sharing that one with us. Have a gooden catch you later.😎👊🏻PEACE AND GOD BLESS
As a casual curbside scavenger in compare, I continue to tip my hat to you. Just the speed in which you identify things, the fact that you keep it clean all around, and the crazy things you find.
Hey...what about doing a question/answer or live chat since hitting 500k subscribers? I remember you did something like that way back when, dont remember the milestone, but I remember you were sitting in your backyard!😊
❤ that would be great 👍
Can't wait for the clean up video on this load. What a work out .
Love me some Mike the Scavenger ❤❤❤
I watch other scrappers but YOU are not afraid of getting dirty. Watched a couple of other scrappers and one was afraid of getting tiki torch oil on his gloves, and yet another is always afraid of getting a little dirty water on him. Don’t know that you are afraid of much! ❤️
I love all of these little doohickeys that you find in the dumpsters n what not, especially that industrial lookin light switch at the start of the video, I would just keep that to myself just because it would make an interesting fidget! xd
Agree 😊
Does anyone else hit the thumbs up before watching the video? 😊
When that trash can fell over the edge, I about lost it! 🤣🤣🤣 Wow! What a night! Thanks for taking us along!
When MTS posts, everything else stops!! 😂
Dotty worked overtime today pulling out those heavy blocks.Good job Dotty.😊
My trusty workhorse
WOW. I can’t wait for the follow up. Want to see how much aluminum there was. Hopefully you will know what those real heavy magnetic things are by the follow up. I’m super curious. Poor Dotty is squatting
You work so hard for your money big man,you deserve every dime you make
You work so hard every day. Good job Mike!!!
Scrapity scrap scrap scrap
You hit pay day dude! Happy for you! I love it when you say" look at that!" 😂 can't wait for the follow up video. How much did those blocks weigh you were roping out?
Love it when you hit the mother load! "Look at that!"
**SCAVENGER SHENANIGANS! Never fails to impress with ways to get things outta a dumpster (even if you have to tip it over 🙈) gotta be strong!
That was a fun dumpster. Keep yourself healthy 😊
Do you have a place to sell circuit boards and computer processors, etc? They should be worth more than shred... see eWaste Ben...
You are a hard worker Mike .Great haul today.😊
You deserve a couple of good sponsors Mikey
Mike you are amazing!! Heavy metal😀
I was trying to help you lift those magnet boxes.Great finds Mikey!!!!Thanks for the adventure!!!!
As heavy as concrete bricks... 🤣🤣🤣
Man oh Man - that Computer Dumpster - Lucky You - You must have found the End of The Rainbow ! Truck is becoming an Extraction Tool - smart Move Mike ! Another Successful Evening Dumpster Diving - enjoyed it very much ! Many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Yamaha network AV receiver with Airplay . hell of Jackpot if its working. It's so powerful i have one RX-V675 7.2 channel its Amazing.
Yo Mikey! Killer score on the computer scrap! I know you got a computer guy who you take your comp scrap to, but you should look into separating it your self. it's super easy to dissemble, and doesn't take up to much real estate to store. Make a pile/ bin for those high grade mother/server boards. Remove the CPU's , memory sticks, heat sinks, power supply, hard drives and make separate piles for each. Memory sticks can fetch you a pretty penny reselling them online, depending on how much GB of memory they hold.
P.s. doing a dump run at my local dump I recently found a huge pile of pencil thick copper wire, after stripping it I got 2.80$ a lb for it from my scrape yard. Thats top dollar for bare bright copper wire here in Hawaii, It was a quick 300$. Keep up the good work🤙🤙
Hi Mike and Laura
Fantastic first dumpster with those power supplies you found. I use them in some of my transmitter I use. I have a very old wind up bakerlite chart recorder I found and have it as a art deco. Have a good week. When are you going to have another video of the puppy's ?
Wowzers you did amazing! Again. 👏👏👏👏
Question: what’s in the respirator box? Be interested in seeing/knowing. ❤️💙
You should try and take those toner cartridges to office max/depot! They give $2 per cartridge max 10 a month! You could just grab one and see if they take it. That fresh dumpster is being super nice to you!! That office chair came in ah day too! Hope that guy from your last video doesn’t find it!!
11.07 ultrasonic tank, used by jewellers etc every expensive. those oxy machines can also be used by jewellers etc. ! great haul.
I found some mystery metal yesterday. It's only a small amount. About 6" long and about twice as thick as clothes hanger wire. It's color is dull grey, it's very heavy, strong, and hard. I could not bend it. It also is not magnetic. Any idea what this metal might be?
Yes, definitely need a follow up! All that cool computer and aluminum stuff.
Also, do boards and memory type stuff no longer bring any money? I thought they were worth something for the precious metals on them…?
I think you may have stumbled apon someone trying to build a Flux capacitor. Lol. Cheers from Wisconsin!
The mylar bags that were protecting the high dollar electronics stuff. Can it be reused for small electronics for inside of a Faraday cage?
...and the dumpster luice tonight was from Mike's sweat.
In case you are not aware I looked up the scrap metal price of low yield non computer boards t😂his morning And they are about $2000 a ton high yield boards with gold fingers and gold showing on the boards from colitters are around $22000 a ton
What on earth do you do with the circuit boards, TV's and stuff?
Skip from Spencer NC.
Mike , does Texas recycle cardboard? I see a lot of it the dumpster. Thanks Tom
😃👍👋👋
Great video. Yes can't wait for the follow up.
WoW...what a great haul tonight! Love these bonus metals!!!
I'm paying you instead of scrapping it 200% more than the scrape yard is ! Want too help you pay your bills mike
Love your channel, but I cringe when you just toss potentially useful computers in your truck bed like they are trash.
🎉🎉 wish you would sell me some camaras working or not too scare off people, multimeter too plus things I like to thinker with thing's
Mike, please please pretty please do a follow-up on this ❤ what an amazing haul
I'm goin dempster divin again .👍

Cool just so cool!!!!Thanks Mike.
Mike, you are the most amazing man! 😊😊 That is some really heavy metal you are dealing with 😮😮. WOWZA!! Going to be an awesome payout!! 😊 Good for you!!! 😊😊❤
Dude let us know the weight of the three metal boxes you hauled out with your truck! Good scrap right there!
You find the most awesome junk! Shame on this company for throwing it out.
Wow, that was a real workout. I’m gonna have to take a nap just from watching 😅
Dang you worked your butt off in that dumpster. Awesome job
Now that’s some serious weight
Dang man that is a lot of servers. Great find!
I wonder why people throw away such nice / valuable items
Hercaleez! Hercaleez!👏👏👏👏👏
Hey dude you should take those ink cartridges and you can sell them in yard sales and make you a few bucks off um. They were brand new.
That last bin was a smorgasbord-o-metalic wornders...
Awesome video! I liked and shared it. I can't wait till the next one!

Im sure Mike watches the Salty cracker!!! 🧂🧂🧂🧂
REEEEEEEEE
MIKE: You are amazing. Great job. Elaine from Florida 🌴👍
That last open-top was quite the feast. Your energy, even when you are working your butt off, is infectious. Keep it up!
Whew- wheee!!!... You had me holding my breath on this video... What a great haul....
Arms of jello! Lol Somedays are definitely dimonds.
❤❤
Space ship parts lol
You sure as heck. All your cardio on this dumpster
Hey Mike at my scrap yard I get paid $0.25 a pound for the zboard no matter if they're mixed or not I still get paid $25 a pound
How much? 😂
What a haul! So jealous! I live in Niagara, Ontario, Canada. We NEVER get stuff like that. Not only that, everyone compacts or locks bins! Just to be sure it all goes to landfills!
That’s so sad recycling is so much better
Hey neighbor!
That was amazing. Those magnets you pulled out with the strap not only had the weight to deal with but the magnetism added an additional complexity! Wondering how you are going to break them apart to remove them 1 by 1 from your truck! Your follow up is going to be more exciting than the find! I am really excited. I am thinking engine hoist for removal of the magnetic steel. Please think it through and be careful. You are the best! I am always so excited when you videos hit! I especially enjoy when you repurpose things so they remain useful while skipping the entire scrap cycle. The Scrap collection sale and use process must be amazing!
What in the world was that😂😂😂..Be safe out there.😊😊
A true Day happy ...
Do you ever have injuries while scraping?
You’re gonna have a good night sleep after this video
For wiping hard drives and other electronics.
Didn't you hear me yelling drop it over the side 😮
