Adobe Illustrator Trick : How to Masking in Illustrator

In this video I will show you How to masking in Adobe Illustrator. There are two different ways to create clipping mask in Illustrator, first way you can use clipping mask option on Object tab, and second way you can use Transparency Mask in Transparency Panel.

what if i want to invert it? so the text is the one who cropped the image, so the image would still be rectangle but only has the text as transparant in it

Use transparency mask
1. Create Black text in front of the image
2. Go to transparency panel, make mask, and uncheck clip.
