Well, mostly because I've always preferred French comedy, I've watched so many of them, starring Louis de Funes, Bourvil, Pierre Richard, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Gerard Depardieu... As for French dramas, I've watched several of them recently, films by Jacques Audiard, first of all. He directed Read My Lips. I loved this movie so checked out his other works, they left me speechless.... Rust and Bone (Marion was amazing in that), A Prophet. They are masterpieces. And I watched Betty Blue couple of weeks ago. Great film, a bit too long, but still enjoyed it. Good actors, good script...
there is a beautiful bossa nova song in the party scene of this movie and i have been dying to find out who the singer is and what the song is called! I checked the soundtrack for Sur Mes Levres over and over again, and still no luck.....any leads would be greatly appreciated!
