The Dev literally said it was almost impossible to fix. He said the Auto Explore AI is the same as the AI's AI, so they'd have to re-write the AI and have them not know where the curiosities are..
Well that just means the AI is also using this OP pathing. It shouldn't be that hard to change the AI to only be able to path to curiosities when visible, and explore otherwise.
@@Hendrycks Sure, they may say that it is not possible, but it should not be that hard to do. I don't really believe them. What they probably mean is that it's very difficult and not possible at this state of the game, because they have to rewrite the AI, but still, this is not how it should work in the first place.
Yeah, this needs to be fixed, also the day the game came out people were saying the AI is hard, so I played my first game on nation and steamrolled the AI, are people just bad or do they need to rebalance production? I choose a production culture each era and i would literally wait to get must stars before moving on to the next era and I would still be the first to each era.
I've found that all of the AI except for one is extremely easy even on the second-to-last difficulty (Civilization). Usually I will be in second place and the AI in third will be at half of my fame, with 6 more beneath that one. I'm probably not in first because I don't wage war as much as the AI in first, who just snowballs and eats up all the other AI. War feels necessary to be competitive despite the city cap, so how easy the game is likely depends a lot on your playstyle.
It has a lot of minor issues, most of which can be fixed with updates. It does add up and significantly take away from the experience in its current state.
As someone else said, its got a really solid base but it definitely has a lot of small issues that are plaguing it right now that can hopefully be fixed by patches
@@TheSaxyGamer It's got the kind of problems we saw in Civ 1 where the AI breaks the rules. I suspect that they may not have been able to get the AI up to scratch. Civ has done an incredible job with their AI but, since it sticks to the rules, there is just no way it can match a good player, even with the huge advantages given to it on deity.
Totally balanced game with no exploits.
Having knowledge of 4X games, I am steam rolling the AI about the middle ages, regardless of difficulty. Sadly disappointed in the AI.
no the game doesnt need a patch, it needs cheat codes. or its a waste of time if the ai knows exactly what to do every time.
Is it a cheat, since the AI uses it?
...it's a feature
That's why I wait for a few months : game will be fixed and hopefully balanced + at least 30% off

If the AI gets this than why no us too. Doesn't seem right if the patch doesn't also impact the AI
Great success!
It's because they are on the ground and not looking through the clouds 😂
I'm still on civ (5!), are these basically goody huts?
Yes and no. The difference is that these are necessary to advance and not just bonus. They also give more per unit.

Hey saxy, would this work as a short
I think it technically doesn't count as one since it isn't in vertical recording format haha
Patch will be good for this i hope
Hopefully so
WTF?!?! Get Spiff on the phone, we got a totally balanced game with no exploits
Hello from Hungary
Apparently in Humankind you can "make the world unfit for human life"? How does that work besides pollution issues?
watched you and potato and am not impressed by this game
