It's genuinely amazing that the demon hunter quest was about drawing 4+ cards a turn for multiple turns, and that being realistically attainable wasn't seen as a huge red flag for Demon Hunter having way too much card advantage.
I think Reska is fine as a wow-factor card. It's a big spooky thing, a big later game tool, and has fun ways to resummon or spread the deathrattle. I also think the rune choice is pretty good at keeping it out of the hands of blood DK. cause man, i would put that in every triple blood deck i make.
Mana cheating is agregius and should be regulated by not letting any card discount another below (1), but its only truly TERRIBLE when it results in *repeatable combos* The Skyla - Tsunami play is bad, really bad, but its *infuriating* because it ALSO gives you access to cards that let you cast a SECOND Tsunami a turn later Which makes Radiant Elemental dodging literally EVERY nerf Sorcerer's Apprentice got even more baffling.
Worse statline *and* lacking the Elemental tag for synergy, and it *still* dodges nerfs. Maybe they just straight up believed Priest had worse spells on average so it didn't matter? And once upon a time that would be accurate? Not anymore tho!

(3 Mana 4/2 Battlecry: Gain +2/+2 if you control a minion with spell Damage.) Maybe it was just attack at release but, what do I know. 3. If I remember there are 2, Youthful and Ancient, If there’s actual names for them then that’s news to me. 4. I’m not sure on this one, Standard has around 20, and this I’m assuming is on wild. I bet it’s in the 50’s given expansions after Stormwind may have focused more on Shadow Spells because of Benedictus, My guess will be 57, though I could be a few off 5. I know about a good portion of the banned cards, but have no idea if was something Blizzard wrote or we did, I think my answer will be the “unruly infant” being banned from Standard before Perils in Paradise, My answer will be Splish Splash Whelp 6/Bonus. This shit, right here, is why I *always* ran watchtowers in any deck during its standard format. I don't care it couldn't attack, I don't care it set me back early, if I can make the other guy pay even a few more mana on average for their big swing cards, that's usually enough to win the game just on tempo.
I literally have a recording of me doing all of 19:40, but I played 2 Rangers draw 6, both clownfish, mutinis and a full one band amalgamation for almost 30/30, draw 6 opponents discards a card turn 4
I have to disagree on radiant elemenal. I used to play the quest mage (ungoro quest) that used ignite and luna and now I am playing radiant elemental priest (I don't play the version with potion of madness so I can't talk about that one).The mage deck was only hard to play in 2 aspects, how to mulligan and how to survive (the second one is eased greatly by ice blocks). The kill was an OTK and always ended the game. The radiant priest is way harder in my opinion you need to know how to mulligan and learn the deck, you are required to know the matchup and cards you need. Another thing is knowing how much can you commit to the board. You can usually (3 out of 4 games with precise gameplay) get 3-6 7/8 or 8/8(I am playing Arcane giants) in your hand costing 0. The issue is knowing, when you can commit them to the board to make it unbeatable, but still having another wave of stats in case of clear. It took me losing 20-30 games for me to learn how the deck operates and get to know the cards I need to discover in each marchup. I understand why you feel like radiant is super unfair, but the sorcerer's apprentice was killed because it can discount spells like arcane intellect while priest doesn't have this strong card draw on spells, thus radiant even though its technically identical card, is weaker.

Portalmancer skyla isn’t the worst play pattern ever, remember that yugioh has FTKs and historically many have actually been completely viable. Imagine going into a locals just to not play the game ever lmao. The archfiend traps and the gimmick puppet FTK are two viable ones THIS YEAR.
