This is why I love this channel. Brilliant video production with high quality shots. Perfect music selection. Short, yet potent content, with a perfect blend of subtlety and emotionally piercing messaging. Literally teared up thinking about setting my GMT before leaving my family and looking at the GMT hand while traveling and wondering what they’re doing right at that moment. Bravo 🙌🏻
Absolutely beautiful, Oisin. I’ve worked in TV for over 25 years, and you sir, have an innate gift for the visual married with sublime story telling. Bravo.
You take the exquisitely designed models of Rolex which are the GMTs and take them to a whole new dimension through your vids. Genious my friend. Pure genius.
My cat was freaking out after a storm and I played this video for her and it totally calmed her down. And in other news, I’m picking up my Batgirl GMT today from my AD. Can’t believe I got the call after 2 months on a list.
We love it because such elegant beauty was never made for the wrist before this watch. “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” Not with this watch. Because it compares only to all the beautiful days in every season. Just gorgeous. As this video.
God I love the music in these videos. The subtle sadness and "calling home" of the music is a perfect juxtaposition to the GMT Master. Great job, Oisín, another banger. Edit: to all those asking for the song, it’s Je Te Laisserai Des Mots.
From the dulcet tones of the voice over, twinkling piano accompaniment, close focus photography all intertwined with emotive storytelling. A masterclass in why we love our watches. One can only imaging how long it took to produce this. Well done and thank you!
Remarkable job Oisin. That was the most heart warmed description of a GMT hand. You’re right, the GMT hand is home. There is no better way to put it. Thankful for this amazing video!
You hit the nail on the head with this one. As a frequent traveler the red GMT hand on my Omega is my emotional connection to home, where ever I am. It is comforting
This is the Oisin we loved long ago, walking the streets of Italy, thoughtful, contemplative, and ever the romantic. Carrying on a love affair with timepieces to spend our lives with, in prosperity and wealth, in hardship and loss, at rest and at play, sharing the richness of life and this gift of time.
As one that travels extensively for work, you hit the nail on the head. My gmt collection began with the forgotten 42mm polar explorer II that I adore and has now expanded to the marmite sprite and hopefully the Batman on jubilee and rootbeer soon. One can hope. This is the content i enjoy most. Thank you.
When a short and poignant video about watches brings you to tears, you know you've done something special. The joy of travel...dreaming about the journey ahead, experiencing the journey you are on, and re-living the journeys of yesterday...is always life-changing. Thank you yet again, Oisin, for another masterpiece, and for bring that experience to life.
Outstanding. Perfect music accompaniment, voiceover and stunning photography. The production quality is unrivalled. Feels like a real labour of love and higher level of perfectionism that’s gone into this. These are my favourite types of video which make this channel stand out. Great job.
One of the most beautiful backdrop s for a video showcasing those peices. Spending over 35 years of collecting has paid off for me dealing with AD'S because it allowed me to aquire the Pepsi, batman, rootbeer, black and the Skydweller all in 2018.
Oisin, this was one of the most perfect laid back but invoking videos you’ve done. A combination of old and new but hitting on the mystique behind the GMT design and function . The music, scenery and use of color, lighting and shadows is as always amazing. What I like best about this video is that you handle the latest iteration of the 40mm GMT from the 116710LN to the 126711CHNR and just how everything about this class of GMT is just the perfect watch, be it the Espresso, Batman, Rootbeer or the iconic Pepsi. I only hope that you can continue with your amazing Watch and History Videos as they are true works of art, each and every video that you meticulously, edit and produce are just outstanding and amazing. Thank you Oisin for everything that you have done for all of us who are subscribers to your channels .
Honestly… beautiful! An absolutely beautiful video. I love how you incorporate places and people and not just about the watch. Excellent pace and editing especially with great dialog. Very well done 👏🏼
Picked up my Sprite on jubilee a little over a month ago. In pictures I was on the fence, but in person it’s stunning. I own the Root Beer too but the Sprite seems to always find its way on my wrist. Nice video.
My first GMT was the TUDOR M79830RB-0001 BLACK BAY GMT, I got it a few months after the Basel fair. And the following year I received the call from the AD: the ROLEX GMT MASTER II - REF 126710 BLRO had arrived… I wear the TUDOR GMT on holidays, for the beach, swimming. The BLRO I wear it 5 days a week. The jubilee is very comfortable! Love how the colors on the ceramic bezel change with different light! Bought the TUDOR tax free and paid full retail price for the ROLEX, not one cent more.
This is far and away the most compelling and educational Rolex GMT Master II watch video I've seen. I'm obsessed with the Black Beauty GMT Model. This is not only a RUclips video but also superb filmmaking.
Cone senpre i tuoi video sono speciali. Cortografie cariche di passione, architettura, cultura, filmografia e magia. Come riesci a trasportare gli spettatori in un mondo parallelo nessuno. I migliori contenuti su RUclips.
The GMT Master, 16750 was always my work watch. The office was 60 feet underground and we live local time and Zulu time. It made sense because it had dual time and was tough as hell. Another great video, I do appreciate your art. Please, keep them coming.
For years my office was at 25,000’; I was a C-130 navigator. That black-bezel GMT master has always been my grail. I retired in ‘20 & I don’t have a need for a GMT anymore…but I’d still love one!
For me, my espresso was my first ever Rolex in 2009. I’d begun traveling extensively for my career and the second time zone made calling home to check in with my wife and kids a true partnership between me and my watch. It’s those connections that make this the one. I’m now able to afford whatever Rolex I can get from my AD, BUT this one will always be the favorite and will never leave my collection!
I just watched the Interstellar Video you made. Beautifully done Sir. Space Odyssey and Interstellar are my two most favorite Sci-fi films. Saw Space Odyssey when I was 11 years old. Made me a NASA & Astronomy geek. If I only was born with a Math Brain. I always get choked up when Murp says to Coop. “ A parent should never have to watch a child die”. Because it happened to me.
This is another truly wonderful video. It's up there with your 'final rolex' and 'mystery of a mechanical watch' Can't wait for the Ireland video to hit the screen!
Thanks for this piece or art - this relaxing style makes you contemplate even on the meaning of life. Now grab my old Swatch (35 years old) and go for a slow jog in the winter evening. Greetings from Germany
What a great Hommage to the old GMT from PanAm. A great piece and a great movie. The combination of Venice and Piano gives such a great mood to honour the great Rolex Icon. Thanks for this storyline. This movie is not just a RUclips video- it’s just art. 🎉
This video was pure class it’s by far one of the very best Rolex GMT videos that I’ve ever seen & I don’t say that lightly… The GMT Sprite is the real one for the future in my opinion. I would love to see you produce one on the Submariner next.. Maybe Rolex will make a GPS master next year to deter the watch thieves?
Damn fine video!! This video encapsulates my thoughts exactly plus to me it’s the most iconic Rolex. My family has kept a subscription to National Geographic Magazine since the first release, I always noticed most of their photographers wore the GMT Pepsi. So I looked at a Pepsi GMT as a watch for adventurous, well traveled men. Plus Magnum PI wore one. Cheers from South Carolina US
Aesthetically its Pepsi / Batman / Root Beer / Sprite etc. I have agree with your description of the black on black, this could easily be a one and done, it’s truly my only watch I regret selling, I would love if they bought back the coke, to see if that would sway my choice. Great video as always
jeesh had to watch several times. the music is so inviting and escapist for my mind. used to listen to trance/mood music so much 20 years ago. but the capturing of passersby in the reflection of the crystal was perfecto, and clever. nice one
Brilliantly done. Did I spot an Easter egg at the 1:10 ish mark. Two Japanese tourists on a gondola. Colours - red, blue, gold.... and then the bucket is the lume ?
Nice job Oisin! I own the Pepsi and love all the gmt’s with the exception of Batman/batgirl. That color scheme just isn’t attractive to me. All black, root beer, Pepsi and new two tone on jubilee …I would take any one of them!
This is why I love this channel. Brilliant video production with high quality shots. Perfect music selection. Short, yet potent content, with a perfect blend of subtlety and emotionally piercing messaging. Well written too.

Invokes memories of a lost time but cherished and not forgotten. Thanks for this.
We love it because such elegant beauty was never made for the wrist before this watch.
“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” Not with this watch. Because it compares only to all the beautiful days in every season.
Just gorgeous. As this video.
Jeesh, Oisin, you made me cry with this one. Beautiful and poignant video and is exactly why I love the GMT hand.
Absolutely first class bit of filmmaking Oisin! You completely captured the romanticism of a watch……👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
God I love the music in these videos.
The subtle sadness and "calling home" of the music is a perfect juxtaposition to the GMT Master.
Great job, Oisín, another banger.

We need to upvote and comment in order to make up for the fact that this video needed to be reuploaded!!
Wow this is an extremely artistic video Osin. I've been on a binge of your vids lately.
They are the quintessential Rolex.
Love your work man.
Love this video. Your exploring of the Rolex GMT is masterful. Just brilliant, simply brilliant.
You hit the nail on the head with this one. As a frequent traveler the red GMT hand on my Omega is my emotional connection to home, where ever I am. It is comforting

Excellent cinematography, the images you use really brings the watches to life
Oisin is pure artistic brilliance! Such an inspiration to us video producers/editors.

Another artistic masterpiece from the worlds best watch cinematographer! I could, and probably will, replay these over and over again. Bravo maestro.
Outstanding. Perfect music accompaniment, voiceover and stunning photography.
The production quality is unrivalled.
Feels like a real labour of love and higher level of perfectionism that’s gone into this.
These are my favourite types of video which make this channel stand out. Great job.
As always, a beautiful 8 minutes of soothing Oisin voiceovers. Thanks!!

@@chriscon8463 I hope you get one Man! Every run across MadDog Buerkle, Yak Krystiniak, or Paul Burrell?
Great video!!
I got the call on a batgirl a week ago and I’m think it’s the most comfortable watch I own. I think it maybe may forever watch.
Well done as always Oisin! Truly the best watch content on you tube, way beyond the superficial and speaks to the true collector
Just a different level. It’s a pleasure to see a genius at work 👌
Great video, used my GMT whilst I was a banker. London an NY time. So useful when I was away from home.
For me, my espresso was my first ever Rolex in 2009. Beautiful. Made me fall further in love with my BLRO on an oyster.
This is another truly wonderful video. It's up there with your 'final rolex' and 'mystery of a mechanical watch'
Can't wait for the Ireland video to hit the screen!
Exceptional production , as always. Cheers , we continue to have a place to come for a drink.
Beautiful shots. My grail it the new Rolex GMT master 2 in two tone steel & Gold with black and grey bezel! ❤
Really great work Oisin, your pacing, narrative and cinematography has gotten even better
Love GMT watches, this function is what really hooked me on this hobby of collecting. Great video. Love those macro shots.
I watched this half an hour ago. Must be a newer version. Great, superb, glorious as always Oisín. Keep 'em coming.
Great visuals, lots of easter eggs for the initiated to find, exceptional storytelling, Chapeau Osh!
As ever you have created a thing of beauty. Sublime visuals and music that compliment each other perfectly , bravo!!!
Excellent video. First class images and top drawer pacing as always. 🎉
Could watch this over and over again!!!👌🏼👏🏼

This video was the perfect Christmas gift. Thank you for sharing your work with the world
Mesmerizing.. and I’m not even a GMT fanboy. Awesome content as usual with ya
From one artist to another, Thank You ❤
What a great Hommage to the old GMT from PanAm. A great piece and a great movie. The combination of Venice and Piano gives such a great mood to honour the great Rolex Icon. Thanks for this storyline. This movie is not just a RUclips video- it’s just art. 🎉
Another beautifully crafted project, Oisín. Enjoyed while doing the dishes tonight. Thank you. 🙏🏼
And it’d be the Pepsi for me. ♥️💙
A Beautiful, touching and moving video
Incredible and thought provoking as always Ois
Fantastic pictures and narration! And the music was lovely too.
Beautiful shepherd in the beginning. Another great video!
He’s the Rootbeer. The kid is the Pepsi and the dad is the all black.
@ damn that’s epic!
Love the vintage clips of Pan Am. When you wore a suit and could even smoke on the plane. Good times !
Beautiful watches in a beautiful location, and that piano wasn,t bad either!!
Beautiful cinematography and asmr narration 😊
This video was pure class it’s by far one of the very best Rolex GMT videos that I’ve ever seen & I don’t say that lightly…
The GMT Sprite is the real one for the future in my opinion. I would love to see you produce one on the Submariner next..
Maybe Rolex will make a GPS master next year to deter the watch thieves?
Fantastic video.
Please never stop making this
Black beauty. 👍
Best watch video I’ve ever viewed! Philosophical with incredible imagery and editing.
Just lovely. Wish I could give 5 thumbs up to this video.
Bravo!!
Beautiful story telling, GMT's done right.
Beautiful video! And yes the GMT hand is set to your home time or maybe to the place you'd just rather be....
Beautiful shots, as always! Thank you for giving us this art to watch.
The only watch channel you need. Keep up the amazing content Oisin
I watched the first video but this is my way to support the channel and the hard work of Oisin, team batgirl all the way
Another great video O Malley!❤

Pepsi on the jubilee personally. Nicely done 👏👏
That was absolutely brilliant … what an emotion I felt out of theses incredibles time pieces …
Aesthetically its Pepsi / Batman / Root Beer / Sprite etc. I have agree with your description of the black on black, this could easily be a one and done, it’s truly my only watch I regret selling, I would love if they bought back the coke, to see if that would sway my choice. Great video as always
The 2023 “Guinness” needs a place in the lineup
Awesome stunning as always. Love your work. Thanks
Another gorgeous video Oisín! For me it's the Lunette Noire all day... Almost bought one last week.
jeesh had to watch several times. the music is so inviting and escapist for my mind. used to listen to trance/mood music so much 20 years ago. but the capturing of passersby in the reflection of the crystal was perfecto, and clever. nice one
Best watch channel ever. Beautifully done, perfection.
What a Storyteller. Just great
What a great and artistic video. Great pictures, great sound, great story ❤
Brilliantly done. Did I spot an Easter egg at the 1:10 ish mark. Two Japanese tourists on a gondola. Colours - red, blue, gold.... and then the bucket is the lume ?
So much thought and care. Beautiful!
Simply excellent! I’ve watched this video at least three times….
Beautiful production as always, but classic coke for me is #1 ❤️🖤
Beautiful. As much as I love my Submariner, adding a GMT Master II to the collection is always on my mind. Thanks for sharing Oisín. ❤
Nice job Oisin! I own the Pepsi and love all the gmt’s with the exception of Batman/batgirl. That color scheme just isn’t attractive to me. All black, root beer, Pepsi and new two tone on jubilee …I would take any one of them!
Marvellous video Oisín. Many thanks for your fantastic work.
Brilliant video!
You are the Keats of Watches. You've written an ode to the Rolex GMT.
What a nice video!! And awesome watch.
Absolutely phenomenal video in every way!
Gave me chills. Great Video Oisin.
The piano is simply heaven. Of course the watches are too! And certainly the video. ;D
